If you use the perfect guard grindstone at the beginning of her second phase you can actually deflect the lightning she's shooting at you right back at her doing some pretty good damage

Dude! I changed from my Technique build to your suggested Advance build and weapon (also reset my P-organs), with the double heal for the spectre and perfect grindstone- I beat her in the first try! The damage being dealt was substantial 😂 Thank you so much ❤

Strength build with the discount Rykard looking sword. Fury Eye frames dodge amulet. No specters. Took about an hour and around 10 tries. First phase was beatable every attempt. It was just having enough healing cells to last the second phase so I can learn her attacks and heal from my mistakes while learning them
for second phase, if she shoots at u in the beginning u can just use the aegis shield while spamming normal block/parry. It will perfect parry most of the hits
@@Elbethiumthe problem with the shield, is that it takes a while to unwind. So you can't use it for quick parrying. You need to give it enough time before the hit lands
It’s also kind of funny that the boss is going after your Spectre the entire time, but never comes after you the boss always turns around and comes after me to fucks up my throwing capabilities and trying to stay away from her, but never works. I always die the second these fast, no matter what I do.
Same for me. In phase 2, the boss ignores my specter and just is super aggro on me…even when I’m on the other side of the arena. She just teleports right up to me and destroys me.
Best way to cheese this boss is using Two Dragon katana especially for the 2nd phase. Just special parry her once and she'll spam the same attack until she dies. Parry, back off just a tiny little bit, parry until she staggers, dodge two times than wait for her puke animation and pary again and then the same loop until she dies.
I was almost doing that but unfortunately i was stupid enough to follow up with a heavy instead of waiting,i nearly got it down and all,and she would have been defeated at least twice now,but don't get me wrong,i love her as boss and never get tired of her,i'm still just adapting 😸
I actually made a simular build to cheese the Nameless Puppet boss without any parries. The only difference is that I went all in on Legion Arm efficiency/regeneration, guard regain buffs and passives that increase the consumable carry limit and improve legion magazines. If you spec this way and fully upgrade Aegis, you can literally turtle behind the Aegis shield for an entire boss fight while spamming r1 pokes and regaining health faster than bosses can dish out chip damage. Super cheesy and very gratifying to break the game

I also didn’t use all of my throwables. Used 14 of them and still had 2 slots full. I also was able to stagger her two or three times. Thanks for all of your effort into making these videos!
As always, thank you again. I did not change my tech to adv build but followed this guide (I use acid grinder consumable) and beefed up my char at lvl88. I killed her the first time😭. For a 1st-time soul game player who is not good at this, your guide is really helpful. I want to enjoy the game and the story.
You are a legend mate, watched your vid after possibly 15 failed attempts, was mainly on a motivity build which had served me well through the game until i met Laxasia. Respecced to advance build & went in to test it out without stocking up on throwables, just for a try, beat her on first attempt with your advance build. Cannot thank you enough, this puppet was getting very sad at dying all the time. I salute you sir.
I would recommend to play this alone, because in the start of the second phase the electric balls are not that hard to parry and makes a lot of damage, and the best way to have a chance is to block EVERYTHING to find out the gaps between attacks

Well I didn’t use this build but got her first try! You giving that extra inspiration and saying I’ll get it actually gave plenty of confidence. You rock
First phase is a breeze with the acid on your weapon and with your specter. But the second phase is still annoying. I can get her to Agro to the Spectre most of the time, but the consumables that you throw barely does anything to her either you miss or it really takes up anything and after you throw everything you’re specters pretty much already dead and then it’s just you again.
I agree with how quick the spectre gets whooped but the friendship cube helps as it heals the spectre and if you have the quartz upgrade you can hold 2 I think
The acidic spear definitely helped. Was consistently getting her to second phase and half health. What worked for me was the holy sword of the ark with the acid grinder. I was dealing big damage and getting the acid benefit. Plus blocking with it cuts down on the damage received.
Bro i wont lie, i died 45 times to this boss but not at one point was i truly mad, laxasia knew i was dog shit at parrying ( doing a tech build with dragon sword) and was just trying to dodge everything and oh boy did i get cooked by her second phase but honestly what a cool af boss design. Ended up only taking 3 hits in total in my final attempt as i knew her moves and had the specter to take aggro and omg i have not felt immense satisfaction in beating a boss lile laxa in a good while. I love this game

You are simply amazing man, trying this fight with technique dragon sword build and she was absolutely stomping me, upgraded the spear and respec then finished the fight under 5 mins without any throwables too.
I know it may not work for everyone but heres my cheese strat. Set up: first and foremost Equip everything you need ready and then upload cloud save to online storage so that you can redownload if you lose the fight and not have to grind for ergo to buy throwables. My weapon: bonesaw blade with curved dancer handle Grindstone: perfect guard grindstone x1 Throwables: thermite x6, shot put x4, health item, acid abrasive, saw x4 pipe x4 friendship cube (heals spectre) Phase 1: acid abrasive, let the spectre aggro then just hold R2 at the back and youll obliterate the first phase with your spectre having almost full hp, just before you finish her first phase use that cube to heal the spectre and then deliver the finishing blow. Phase 2: IMMEDIATELY use the perfect grindstone and then hold block, the perfect blocks will deflect her lightning back towards her and deals approximately 1/3 of her health, as soon as shes back down if she targets you, block, heal and dodge as you can, i found dodge more effective as i dont parry at all. As soon as the spectre aggros her, throw everything you can and hit her from behind when kts safe to do so, if her hp flashes white immediately use a shot put to stagger her but stay the hell back as she does a combo before being staggered, hit her with that combo and then spam heavy attacks. You also have a second cube to heal your spectre. Good luck, it may take a few tries but this worked perfectly for me, good luck and dont give up

I did use a lot of throwables but I also watched a no hit video that showed me how to perfect guard her lightning bolt attacks and throw them back at her. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that my specter made almost to the end. He died when I had her to about a quarter of her life. Thanks for the videos brother.

Thanks, I did quite well and I didn’t even need all the things you mentioned in the video. The Acid Spear and the throwables worked wonders. I only had two amulet slots, but I didn’t need the Carrier Amulet. It might have made a difference that I had three Wishstone uses instead of two, though.
How does this work on ng+? I'm literally getting one shot by her and the first phase already cheeses my specter away. Getting to the 2nd phase is nigh on impossible rn. Even with the same build.....
Your boss guides have helped me so much! Particularly the 2nd Black Rabbit fight. Door guardian personal hardest boss for me so far. Also your voice is so soothing 😂. Keep up the great work :)
They key to this boss battle is keeping the Spectre alive as long as possible. I used 1 healing stone during the first phase and 1 during the 2nd phase. Once she’s aggro ing the spectre, it gives you a min to regain health, stamina etc. Blocking the lightning she throws from the sky and keeping the electric status to a minimum is major to beating her. Managed to do it in about 5 tries. Equip all relevant damage reduction amulets and shock resistant stuff

So I found this trick helpful for sure. In first phase... Used the spear... and a wishstone to up the specters damage for acid attack as well. So we both just laid in and destroyed her health. Then second phase... I Switched to katana... Used acid grindstone.. and throwables and melted her. Didnt realize the acid route was so effective the first playthrough for her. Thanks.
I’ve only upgraded one legion arm to its fullest with the puppet string. The only arm that I’ve created was the Flamberge with zero upgrades. Currently I can craft 3 more legion arms and have 6 caliber items or whatever they’re called to upgrade the legion arms. Aside from the puppet string, which legion arms are a must to craft and upgrade?
Just beat her yesterday. 1) Summon the specter. 2) Have level 10 acid spear. 3) Have level 10 flame dagger. 4) Have quick cube uses, use the cube gem that heals the specter, and if you can, try to have one extra use on the cube. 5) Bring the throwables that are like firecrackers (cluster grenade). As to the battle, use the acid spear on phase 1. Use the flame dagger in phase 2. Make sure you heal the specter whenever he's at around 1/3 health because the boss can easily wipe all that out with one of her stronger combos. When she shoots lightning at you, make sure you parry that. I was trying to evade em but I found that it's far easier to parry them and you do a good chunk of damage on her by doing it. The timing on parrying lightning is far more lenient than pretty much all other parries. Save the cluster grenades for rough spots where she goes berserk on the specter. The cluster grenades will stun her and help both you and the specter catch your breath. Also, if the specter dies, you can use the cluster grenades to give you a window to hit some charge attacks with the flame dagger and let the flame damage do its thing.

I used an advance build for my current playthrough and basically did this only I strategically used throwables and landed almost all of them. Defeated her in like 2 minutes. Advance is hilariously OP.
I have to say I have loved this game but I am almost 50 hours in and I’m just tired. I just want to be it and be done. Going to try this method. I don’t have an advance build but will give the spear a try and respec if needed. After trying for ~40 mins the first phase isn’t that bad but the second is killing me outright.

The only difference for me was I used a motivity build and maxed out holy sword in altered form. Great video! For people struggling though, i highly recommend trying to get through part 1 wothout wasting a specter heal!!!

You can also just parry them, the window on them seems significantly larger than most attacks in the game

Thanks, I did quite well and I didn’t even need all the things you mentioned in the video. The Acid Spear and the throwables worked wonders. I only had two amulet slots, but I didn’t need the Carrier Amulet. It might have made a difference that I had three Wishstone uses instead of two, though.
How does this work on ng+?
I'm literally getting one shot by her and the first phase already cheeses my specter away. Getting to the 2nd phase is nigh on impossible rn. Even with the same build.....

They key to this boss battle is keeping the Spectre alive as long as possible. I used 1 healing stone during the first phase and 1 during the 2nd phase. Once she’s aggro ing the spectre, it gives you a min to regain health, stamina etc. Blocking the lightning she throws from the sky and keeping the electric status to a minimum is major to beating her. Managed to do it in about 5 tries. Equip all relevant damage reduction amulets and shock resistant stuff

So I found this trick helpful for sure. In first phase... Used the spear... and a wishstone to up the specters damage for acid attack as well. So we both just laid in and destroyed her health. Then second phase... I Switched to katana... Used acid grindstone.. and throwables and melted her. Didnt realize the acid route was so effective the first playthrough for her. Thanks.
I’ve only upgraded one legion arm to its fullest with the puppet string. The only arm that I’ve created was the Flamberge with zero upgrades. Currently I can craft 3 more legion arms and have 6 caliber items or whatever they’re called to upgrade the legion arms. Aside from the puppet string, which legion arms are a must to craft and upgrade?
Well, pandemonium can be super op, but it is a thinker tool.

Just beat her yesterday.
1) Summon the specter.
2) Have level 10 acid spear.
3) Have level 10 flame dagger.
4) Have quick cube uses, use the cube gem that heals the specter, and if you can, try to have one extra use on the cube.
5) Bring the throwables that are like firecrackers (cluster grenade).
As to the battle, use the acid spear on phase 1. Use the flame dagger in phase 2. Make sure you heal the specter whenever he's at around 1/3 health because the boss can easily wipe all that out with one of her stronger combos.
When she shoots lightning at you, make sure you parry that. I was trying to evade em but I found that it's far easier to parry them and you do a good chunk of damage on her by doing it. The timing on parrying lightning is far more lenient than pretty much all other parries.
Save the cluster grenades for rough spots where she goes berserk on the specter. The cluster grenades will stun her and help both you and the specter catch your breath. Also, if the specter dies, you can use the cluster grenades to give you a window to hit some charge attacks with the flame dagger and let the flame damage do its thing.

I used an advance build for my current playthrough and basically did this only I strategically used throwables and landed almost all of them. Defeated her in like 2 minutes.
Advance is hilariously OP.
I have to say I have loved this game but I am almost 50 hours in and I’m just tired. I just want to be it and be done. Going to try this method. I don’t have an advance build but will give the spear a try and respec if needed. After trying for ~40 mins the first phase isn’t that bad but the second is killing me outright.

The only difference for me was I used a motivity build and maxed out holy sword in altered form. Great video! For people struggling though, i highly recommend trying to get through part 1 wothout wasting a specter heal!!!
