For real. Its just hard to compete with spiderman 2, tears of the kingdom, and baulders gate. It kinda sucks that most of the nominations are all sequels. I wish Lies of P got nominated atleast.

unfortunately, Baldur's Gate exists, so 0% chance. And if you look at the GOTY categories for which LoP has been officially nominated, it 100% loses in all (ie both) of them. Very sad, because "art direction" is NOT why this game is so great, and yet THAT is one of the nomination. First of all, fuckin music. Second, perhaps fkin gameplay? But no, gaming is dead. GOTY is decided before games are even launched. Frankly, surprised Cyberpunk didn't win all of them, despite its devastating launch. I guess that's much fkery is what it takes to upset the powers that be who decide this shit.

Imagine the entire fight coming down to "can I actually get the perfect guard timing on that BS scripted dash attack?". Well played, indeed. Also, this boss has Malenia vibes, but doesn't get any of the credit because Nameless feels more epic, despite being objectively easier, and this makes me sad.

I dont know... Malenia is a lot more bullshit. This one at least while really aggressive in the second phase, has an entire moveset thats completely learnable and dodgable in a lot less time. I didnt play the game yet but this compared to Malenia looks easy.

You havent played it, greatly surpasses elden ring gameplay wise, also, its so obvious er is the only souls game youve played
