to be fair, the fuel regulations in Ontario, perhaps even Canada, leave us with a 10% ethanol content that requires the fuel setting on the Polaris 850 Patriot motor to be "de-tuned". not saying the Turbo Doo isn't - believe me IT IS! - but it is frustrating to have to sacrifice performance because all of our available pump gas is now laced with ethanol and potentially harmful to high performance recreational motors in moist environments. Thanks Justin!
@@sooperdanYes, you are right. Its not really faster out of the hole, because all the sleds are traction limited. However it really pulls harder mid and top end over a normal 850. Really fun sled to ride. Over 1300km now on it.
Great video! Just curious what studs are you running and how many? I ordered a 2025 Turbo. Same as yours. Let me know. Thanks.
2 studs per window, using the recommended ones, 1.352.

ETEC FTW :)
Good information!!
Thanks, as always ground conditions make huge time differences. But having the 850 poo, is a good way to account for them across different places.
@@ADAMLS1240SX yea, I think your formula was great. You had constant for each situation.
You can definitely tell the turbo had a top end charge with the speeds shown

I heard the new Ski Doo turbo isn't any faster than the regular 850
the hydro towers look like the ones south of parry sound
We found a crappy lake off the trail to do some runs. Was no where near good snow to run on.
