- It's been 2 years since I've worked on the MK1 All Wheel Drive rally car. I pushed hard for 2 weeks, left a lot of stuff in I'd usually edit out. I've got so many messages over the years of people asking about this car and giving me suggestions about what the problem could be. Leaving the camera rolling and not editing stuff out like I usually would you guys can follow along better.
Thanks for all the helpful comments and messages over the years.

Check your injector harness for shorts. Fuel injectors are ground controlled. Also you need a dual pass pcv. The oil cap should have vacuum at idle. Are you using the proper MAF and oem housing.
O yes I had to redo my catch can set up on my corrado 1.8t after learning how it was supposed to be set up. This car has all the stock pcv still hooked up I believe.
I've been telling myself to check the maf sensor and this comment made me go right out and check. Sure enough it was still for a narrow band car. So I'll be ordering the Bea Maf for it today.
Thanks for the help
I know....life and all.....but I sure do miss videos from you. 😌
Woot woot it runs
Good to see you back... 👍
Game on...welcome back.
more about this beast please
Welcome back!
Like, like, like, like
Man the crap we put ourselves thru lol
lol for sure. I'm going to need to come over and take a look at the LS Swapped Hummer in the spring. Thing looks awesome
@@JakeRawSon ya take you for a ride you'll be in love lol
Great job! 👍
Don't give up the smoke is normal
Its coming from the exhaust there comes water inside after it becomes temprature.
When it cools down the exhaust inside have Water in it what the next time when you drive it it blows white smoke outside.
When its so cold outside it smokes much more
Ok that's what I was thinking. Nice to get another person thinking the same thing.
Nice work. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sounds sick bro
Loved to see you have her running pretty well ❤My goodness, it looks fun to drive it😊
Congrats man!
Appreciate it. I'm so excited to take it out and drive but of course it started raining again
Congratulations!! I just finished installing a 225 engine in my Corrado using AWP harness. It runs so much better.
Did you put your 02 sensor on the downpipe or farther under the car?
Pulls like a beast! 😆
I'd redo al the wiring maybe. When you start it next day, does it still smoke a lot? When I bought my ABF Cupra donor it was also smoking white a lot. Congratulations Jake!
Haven't been able to get it back out. Raining for a couple days. But thinking it's because it sat for so long there could have been condensation built up in the exhaust. Hope so anyways
@@JakeRawSon I really hope that too, but it would go away after a while I guess...
Is it possible the thermostat isn't closing? I'm not sure exactly how the OEM ecu adjusts afterstart enrichments or if it has a learning mode, but with the standalone ecu i have been tuning the fuel enrichments are controlled by water temp. If the ecu thinks the water is cold it will run rich. Another thing that might be affecting things is 2 year old fuel? I don't doubt that little car is fun to drive!
The plugs at the end look too white to me.. are you sure it's not too lean now? Maybe the o2 sensor is fouled up because of the overfueling before. Did you manage to check the fuel trims on VCDS at the end?
I agree, it did look too white. But at the time I was just so happy it wasn't black lol. Good thinking I should go back and clean it. Maybe get a new one and check fuel trims again. Thanks
Do you need those 225 injectors or are those stock ones still capable for your power levels?
Stock ones wont be enough with this tune.
So you have a awp Ecu with awd harness with amu Audi tt225 motor?
lol yes I did. Now it's Awp ecu with Awd engine harness and Awp engine side harness for the 02 sensor.
@@JakeRawSon lol as long as it’s running good that’s all you need
