Now a days whenever an old metal man/ band from our 80's-90's era sings, all the new generation goes off. It’s an irony that to till date the world is being ruled by old Metal Bands/ singers whom none of today’s musicians can compete!! They are living legends indeed!! (example are many...)
These wonderful song and clip echo in meaning and content with the equally wonderful song and clip of the Asking Alexandria youth band - "Dark Void". In both cases, you are talking about a musical and visual description of the suffering of a soul standing near the edge of a dark void, where this helpless suffering soul is inevitably sucked in by a dark force of an irresistible nature... But Turner's music video was released 6 months ago, and AA's was released 7 months ago: such a coincidence, in my opinion, cannot be accidental and suggests that the musicians of AA, dear to me, were inspired by this work of the heavy rock grandee Joe Lynn Turner when writing the song and video. To Turner - respect for a wonderful heavy work.
I was amazed at how much the appearance had changed. Being handsome hasn't changed, but he's just like a fashionable villain in a French movie. I think this way of getting old is cool.😊👍
I like the alternate version, it's not as dark..but I understand that was the purpose. Joe is a true artist. He can do it all, and he was right, this is his heaviest work yet. I love the AOR music too, I love it all.
Simply wonderful, Joe always surprises us with high quality work. The white color tone was really cool, The video production and everyone behind the cameras that made it all happen are very professional, without a doubt they are to be congratulated!!! Elena and Irina did a beautiful and scary dance!!! I wish with all my heart Many joys and long life to our longtime friend; JLT.
I received 3 cd's of The Belly of the Beast last week. One for me, and two for gifts. Great work of Joe and his fellow musicians. Is this some of of his best work? Yes, I think so. Also thank you Joe for your meaningful lyrics in an insane world. We need more spirit work like this.

I don't know what I was anticipating, but this completely shattered whatever it was. Unreal performance!! This is the aural equivalent of a cinematic masterpiece, reminiscent of that hallowed ground that Axl uncovered on Chinese Democracy, except this is much darker.
This really does explain what it's like to have CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder): The lyrics of the song and the dance of the young women. Sometimes one is on this side of the borderline and sometimes one is on the other side of the borderline
I met Him at end of a Dp show in Manhattan in 96'. I approached him while he was talking to a couple dudes with long hair and mc jackets. He didn't hesitate for a second. He put his arm around me as we walked out of theater together. I told him his Rainbow Era was my introduction to Ritchie back in 82'. He was very Humble and kind as we wished each other happy Thanksgiving. But this stuff he's doing I'm not into..sorry!
This and the original video are very moving. PTSD is a horrible thing to live with for many vets that many people do not understand. I'm a vet, but I do not have PTSD. I've met other vets who do suffer. Many do not get the help they need as they feel they don't need help and can cope by themselves.
He looks like he has something to say. But It kind of got silly when I saw he was walking around in clothes made for women.. You do not actually have to do that to support women. You can dress normal and still support women. Just saying
