I bought from both. However, I've kept to small items like lures and a fish finder for kayaks. I never thought about a pole, but only because I worry about damage from shipping on something larger. Temu barely protects the things it ships from what I have seen. Then there's the delivery guys... They drive around the neighborhood blaring music with the side door open. Been in close calls more than once. So yeah, I'd worry about a pole lol.
I've bought plenty of lures off Temu. The plastic baits have been really impressive with quality, same with hard baits. You learn which brands are the best on Temu. Goture puts out really good baits
I got some reel parts from aliexpress, and I have been happy with the quality of the product. I got 110 mm carbon fiber crank arms ,aluminum shallow spools, and ceramic bearings for the spool. My casting distance went up,and my backlashes were a lot less. I still blow up the spool on accident, but the shallow spool is easy to get your over runs picked out. I can cast down to 1/16 lures with this setup, and I've landed many 5 to 6lb bass on these parts, and they hold up well.Go Lowbrow 💥🎣🍻✌️
I've used "Cheap" fishing gear all of my life. Of all the fish I've ever caught, not a single one of them has ever complained to me about being caught with cheap fishing gear. All my rods are cheap telescoping rods. All but one of my reels are reels I've owned since I was in my twenties. I'm 67 now. Most of my fishing trips consist of riding my bike about three or four miles down the street to one of the irrigation canals that crisscross our city.
Thanks for sharing this! There is definitely budget gear out there that punches way above it' price. You don't have to spend a fortune to get out there and catch em! Thank you buddy! That seems like a great deal!
I have a bunch of Handing rods. Stumbled across these almost 2 years ago. They were offering these M1 rods on lightning deals for $28 about a month ago. Grabbed the ML, M, MH in 6'6" 2-piece (I like shorter lengths 6.6 to 6.8). So far so good. I really like them. No issues with the 6.6 rods being front-heavy. I have their 7' Magic L and 6'8" Magic Soul spinning rods as well, and the balance on those is really good.....super light as well. I have also been using their braid for a couple months now. Both the 4 and 8 strand. They are doing ridiculous Lightning Sales on the 4-strand every now and then......6-something for 500 yard spools. The 8-strand is like silk....it's crazy. It casts a long way. Only issue I've had with it is sometimes the alberto will slip loose when tying it up initially. I just re-tie and it then sinches down and holds. The 4-strand has been really good, no issues with the knots sinching down at all. I'm not gentle on my gear...I fish it hard. But, I'm not a careless lunatic with it either. I have to say all their stuff has punched way above its price class. Give them a try - you may find yourself pleasantly surprised.
Awesome! Thanks for the sub! I've talked about breaking down new water in several videos, but the gist of it is this: Do your homework beforehand. Use tools like the previous few days weather report to get a picture of the wind and weather conditions and use Google Earth to scour the lake for points of interest. Once out on the water, put that information to use to find signs of life; baitfish, birds, etc. Hit high percentage targets in those areas, such as current seams, grass edges, or flooded brush and laydowns. Before long, you should be able to gauge the mood of the bass and put yourself on a good, consistent pattern. Hope that helps!
I don't see many people using old school lures like the jitterbug, even though they still catch fish. I like the medium action rods vs the medium heavy rods.
I buy tons of stuff from Amazon, they sell all the name brand lures I just got some Gary Yamamoto senkos. Hooks and a few old school top water lures. Sometimes there are some good deals, much cheaper than bass pro sometimes
Do you get fishing gear and baits from Amazon or Temu?

If it works, then go with it!

Awesome! Thanks so much for watching!
I never bought fishing stuff from Amazon or Temu but I have thought about it.
Nothing wrong with trying to find a bargain!

FUJI hook keeper is less than $5, and they're a great investment.
I usually just make my own. I'm finicky about how I like my hook keepers. But 5 bucks is not a bad price at all.
Nice!!
Thanks!
Love you
