I combined the recipe with another youtubers recipe. Picking and choosing the ingredients I wanted to use... and I think I just came up with the first place recipe 😋

The zesty pepper sun dried tomatoes are sun dried tomatoes with red pepper flakes, and the last product is sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, another brand should get you close to a similar experience. Hussein and Out, we love this sub for it's savory herbs and robust sun dried tomato flavor! The added veggies give this sub a great crisp bite too! You are correct, we didn't share our taste test, but it was delicous!
Oh, man! You were right there, had me drooling a little bit already, right up to the end, when you added black olives and turned something delicious into something I'd not let near enough my face to smell the kalamata stink from under the bread.
The olives and peppers would overpower the flavor of the sandwich for my taste. Every time I eat something with olives as an ingredient that's all I can taste.
That's how I am with pickles. I don't get why people like pickles on a burger or sandwich. All it tastes like is a pickle. Also, do people really like olives? Part of me believes people eat them, but no one actually enjoys them.
@@NittanyNation22 As a southern European, I consider that a sacrilege! Or maybe the olives you have there are not as good as the portuguese ones... could it be? Try eating black olives with just bread - not the french kind, though; something more rustic. It's divine!

What are some substitutions for the tomato products. I'm in canada and we don't carry that brand of tomato sauce or the little tomatoes with peppers.

Why don’t ya bake it with the onions and peppers. Too much moisture?
Just add 1/2 can of Cento Caponata spread
on bread. Add your favorite Italian cold cuts.

Only thing I'd do differently is rinse the onions and add a little more oil after the bake.
