Never do work without a contract ALREADY SIGNED BEFORE STARTING WORK that indemnifies you of all liability including mistakes and that no work is warranted, and include a clause that states all matters will be decided in "Binding Arbitration" by a panel of 3 state sanctioned arbitrators whom the Service Provider may select (you), and that the Client who is acting on behalf of themselves and the estate have agreed ahead of time that should the matter be ruled in the client's favor that the service provider and all of it's individual employees liabilities in totality shall not exceed $1. It needs to further state that the client will be responsible for paying all arbitration and their Service Provider or their employee's legal/counsel fees up front before arbitration begins to ensure the Service Provider or their employees at no point are financially burdened by the process as it moves forward, and that they agree to subsequently cover the fees incurred by either parties throughout the entire course of settling all matters arising between the client and service provider or their employees including but not limited to cost of travel, food, lost wages, legal counsel, room and board, expert testimony, or other reasonable costs within reason. It is also very important to also have a disclaimer that states If a jurisdiction discovers any parts of this contract to be unenforceable, it shall not void the entire agreement as a whole and those parts must be interpreted and enforced as closely as is legally possible in that jurisdiction should the Service Provider or their counsel agree to accept the provisional changes in how it should be interpreted; and all other parts shall remain in full effect. It must also say that the person entering into the agreement has full authority to do so on behalf of any and all owners of the property where services are rendered and that they agree to assume any and all liabilities that may arise should that be untrue, including but not limited to being fully and entirely financially liable for paying any and all costs the Service Provider or their employees may incur throughout the lifetime of defending themselves from any issues that may arise from their interactions with the Client. You should also state that there is no warranty to your services. as it's own Clause. So why do it this way? For all you know, that home's flood damage extends over several years with massive foundation damage and there is no way to defend it in court that the damages were pre-existing; furthermore they may be property renters and not owners and so now there is an unknown party who has a legal claim against you as well. So you might be the victim of an insurance scam by the renter trying to get a big fat paycheck to fix some floors from you that they never fix and then runs away, and then you have the homeowner unable to get compensation from the renter who will naturally target you next. At least this way you have a way to articulate a better position to your insurance, theirs, and to any litigators that you took all reasonable steps to ensure the people you entered into the agreement with made affirmations that they were allowed too, and that they will cover all of your costs at least in theory. So now your insurance company will even use their own lawyers on retainer to defend you for free against the insurance policy on the home because the client signed agreements about liability. The hope is with such a strongly worded document that anyone who enters into it with the mindset of trying to get a new roof/floor/fat insurance check/or bankrupt you will be the guy reading every little word before signing because he's more focused on loopholes than the service itself, in which case anyone nit picking a "you can't sue us" agreement to make their driveway pretty probably isn't worth the time or risk of doing business with in the first place so this helps you weed out the bad clients from the jump who aren't worth the risk. Also this way if you end up with a miserable client trying to financially cripple you, then now you can remind them they agreed to pay for everything and explain that you're happy to comply with the terms of the agreement if they'd like, however they agreed to a 3 panel binding arbitration agreement and explain to hire 3 certified arbitrators for something that could take several days will likely cost well over $10,000 to pay them and rent the space not to mention it says they must pay for it and your lawyer's fees up front before a verdict can be adjudicated (decided) and that the agreement makes seeking compensation anywhere else like small claims court invalidated. You then articulate that even if they win, they agreed the maximum payout they are entitled too from you, your company, or any of it's employees is $1.. This $1 clause is super super important because should the 3 panel of judges (arbitrators) rule against you for whatever reason, they will still be duty bound to enforce the agreement and can only award them the predetermined amount of $1. By making it binding arbitration all parties have to agree the decision is final and no outside courts may get involved, and there can be no appeals. Since they agree to cover all costs including your legal fees up front before any final rulings can be made you've ensured the financial integrity of you as the service provider and of your employees however you never really explain this to your staff so they don't lower their quality of standards, Making the client cover your legal fees up front ensures they don't lose, and skip town and leave you with a nasty bill. The clause about no warranty of service just ensures the client cant try to pretend you said something would be or do something differently or wasn't up to the standard expected. The clause about all parts enforceable is so the client can't claim since 1 part might not be legal/enforceable in a particular jurisdiction, doesn't allow their legal team to start debating that it should mean the entire agreement should be tossed out, but instead will be forced to interpret it as closely as is legally applicable so long as your legal team agrees to the new interpretation.. This is a trick to leverage control over the court as well, which puts a subconscious strain on the judges of assign some equal measure of authority in their environment wince it means you are effectively leveraging a clause to make the judge seek council with you about how matters should be addressed. I find the best way to get people to sign these, is to make the words a slightly smaller text than is worth otherwise caring to read, and hiding it on page 2.. Page 1 is just big blocky stuff for the clients name, address,a phone number, option for an email where you say you offer in case someone want you to email them an invoice, a check box under that explaining what you just explained, possibly a box to check where they agreed to let you bill them using their debit/credit cards so they cant dispute the charges later, then stick all the BS clauses first like privacy clauses how you respect the clients privacy and you wont discuss with others anything you may see during your duties since you will be on their property, and expand on this with a separate NDA clause on page to at the top that jsut rewords that you as the company wont discuss or disclose with anyone else anything you feel might be considered private information and give it a useless spot below it that you sign in front of them. This sort of gives them this reassurance that all this extra stuff on the page is client positives, and have them initial the bottom corner of each page. Page 3 will be the see that was easy page.. it will have a useless spot you will never ever use where it just gives you the option to enroll in a monthly/biannual/annual option where they might want you to return often to perform the services and this gives you a way to bill them automatically for it without the need to disturb them. This way you can articulate in these instances the client is billed 1 week prior to the service to ensure proper time for it to route and clear before work is performed with a friendly explination that it's only because sometimes client's will get a new debit card and forget to update the information with us so it just keeps the process moving smother for everyone. This little page is a distraction from the binding arbitration clause we dont want them to read on page 2, and you use it as the distraction as you try to up sell them on future work while they're too busy giving you their no thanks lets see how it turns out this time speech and just blindly checking the no box and initialing the page. Furthermore, never actually hand them the contract. Try to fill out as much of it for them as you can, because you want it to be easy and fast, and it always works best to give a funny story while they fill it out.. Explain how it's just a silly formality because one time you cleaned a ladies driveway and then her husband tried to sue you because he didn't like the look of a clean driveway and wanted to keep the moss that was destroying it.Then as they are initialing the pages just use some light humor, "cool that one was just saying I now own your first born son" they will chuckle, probably tell you that you can have their kids, and just keep going about their day without actually reading or caring to read the clause that makes sure they will never sue you and if they did it would cost more than the money they want from you. ~Cheers.

What is the power wash simulator RTX update available on?
😂
Wow nice luck!
most country accent ever bro 💀
It blows my mind that people just let leaks happen without fixing it. Leaks never get better, only worse.
You can't satisfy everyone, but at least you did the job😊
They were very kind! Had no issues from these people! They honestly were asking if I forgot
You'd think they'd address a water issue before pressure washing...
I run into crazy coincidences all the time like this... i work on commercial lawn equipment, ive worked on engines before and then after cust used the deck belt broke... they blamed us but a look underneath showed signs of hitting a tarp, cust apologized. It happens a lot honestly.
You should of asked if they wanted the area next to the chimney done
I have never seen cement surface that needed power washed that is like people paying someone to pressure washing garbage cans
So every time it rains their house leaks?!? Lol. Call a plumber
