And something for unscrewing. Came across similar items for jar lids but still needs like strength to get jar to twist. This would be for the independent woman - she either lives by herself or spouse sick/handicapped.
I was looking at a one-handed reciprocating saw the other day. I was curious, what is some good case use for that tool? I was curious, what is some good case use for that tool? I may purchase it anyway, just checking to see what you thought?
the 3/8th ratchet is great for plastic fasteners. The foam cutter became popular very quickly with cosplayers. I work in industrial equipment maintenance and that 3/8th, magnifying glass, and the inspection light actually have permanent spots in my toolbox unironically. Other USB lithium tools I actually work with are the regular flashlight without the flex head, the soldering pen, and the rotary tool, granted the rotary tool is probably the weakest *link* in the box. For hobby tools they're actually quite effective in a work environment. Plus I don't need to drag out the charger if I'm just using a single tool. I just put 1 battery on my phone charger and call it a day. I really wanted to keep the high pressure inflator in the car, but it simply doesn't have the power it suffered in a compact sedan tire to reach 32 psi. Now if I got into bike riding I'd 100% buy one and throw it in my bike bag or something
Got the Foam cutter kit (with the extra available tips) for making my wargame scenery. Now, I'm more of a Milwaukee Guy, but the foam cutter does what it advertises. A couple of bonuses - 1) You can have one battery in the handle and another in its slot - 2) When you need to cool the tools before putting them away, they stand up in the case.
Have several USB Ryobi devices that we love. The small fan is great clipped so it blows on the bed at night during the summer and can be taken almost anywhere even out on the patio next to a chair to help keep you cool. The lighted magnify glass is good for finding those pesky splitters and reading the very small print. Have three of the flashlights. They are rugged, bright, and easy to use. Also, have the new heated cushion. The cushion is a little harder to use and there is a slight learning curve which is at first confusing. Still, we love it. Doesn't heat real high so you don't burn, yet it is enough to fight the chill on those slightly cold evenings.
My wife runs a small business and so, on top of our normal set of delivered goods that come in cardboard boxes, we got all her business stuff in boxes too. I used to spend hours breaking them all down, exhausting my hands from cramming the box cutter through hundreds of pieces of cardboard as I lost grip hour after hour of building up cardboard dust on my hands. That was until I got one of those little power cutters. I never knew they had one until early last year. It's still takes time, but it sure is faster and easier than using a box cutter for so many pieces.
I have the fan and love it! Just wanted to toss it out there that I have it on a lanyard, and wear it around my neck for travel. I have been able to take it on flights (usa-based so far, haven't tried international) with no issues.TSA hasn't ever given me any problems carrying it this way, nor do they have issues with me carrying the batteries as well. It is super awesome for planes, especially if there's delays where you have to sit on the runway and the air flow from the above-the-seat nozzle happens to be poor on your particular seat.
Another nice like vid! The Ryobi 4V system is pretty slick. I bought the light with the laser pointer. Light is super bright and laser is awesome for harassing the neighbors kids!
I want Ryobi to produce a "corded battery", for situations where 110volt power is readily available. Basically a 2.0ah battery sized corded power brick that puts out at least 3.0ah of steady power.
I use the 18Volt Ryobi system and am continually amazed at how many things I miss. I will look into this smaller unit. All good luck with their products.
Of course they’ll discontinue this line, how else will they get you to buy another of whatever you already probably got two or three of already?….🤷🏽♂️
I did too! When I found out that they were going away, I bought some extra TEK-4 batt-rays and chargers. I know the manager of a Direct Tool Outlet store and he gave me the heads up when the batt-rays and chargers were discounted. The reason I started buying Ryobi 18 volt was that they said they would never change the batt-ray style and so far they have never swayed. I guess that didn’t apply to any other batt-ray style or size!!
I have most of those tools and others that use that battery.. The power cutter is cool but harbor freight makes one with a bit more power. I will say it helps a lot when wrapping presents. It zips right through wrapping paper. It’s also handy when its time to cut down cardboard boxes. Regarding the batteries, some have a battery test button. These can provide power to charge usb devices through the charging port.
I've been a big fan of your channel for quite some time. Love your content. Thanks for all your hard work In taking the time to keep us all up to date. P.s Vince is a toolbox
I love Ryobi tools. I had some from around 1994 nicad set with Drill, Flashlight, circular saw, SawZaw, and angle grinder. Almost through them away, but just before, bought a new Lithium Tool, and found that the Battery worked for EVERYTHING!! How awsome. Still have all of them and continue to grow my collection whenever possible.
My father-in-law is going to have a great Christmas thanks to you. My wife and I have been buying 2 of all these great Ryobi (not Reeobi) tools & gadgets the last few weeks, for him and us. PS: your video title needs some attention, sir. PPS: keep up the great work!
Since I already had a 4-volt B&D driver, when I came across a cutter attachment for the driver for $10, I ordered it - less than the $40 Ryobi cutter. It is very useful when I cut up corrugated boxes - better than using a box cutter.
I'm putting that foam cutter on my Christmas Gifts list. My stepdad uses foam for his modelling dioramas, and I know he has "drooled" over some other TH-cam makers' videos, where they were using a similar (but corded) foam cutting tool.
I have a little driver that I bought probably 6 yrs ago that runs on the 4 volt. It is great for little things-especially when you have arthritic hands. Uses regular bits. Changing out door knobs. Tightening random screws. And you don’t have to get out your big drill.
Okay now Im gonna have to go to Depot and buy about 4 of those tools that look pretty awesome. Thanks again for all your great content.( Cmon people share these videos out and get this channel to 500k subscribers ) like these videos as well. 👍🏻
Good video. Guess I'm gonna nave to go out and get me some new line of tools. They would be smart to add a flat end to the Foam Cutter Kit to flatten inset foam surfaces or just open flat surfaces.
I picked up the regular flashlight last week and the cutter just came in today along with the soldering iron all for the USB power. so far so good. And on the cutter at least on mine once you get it going you can release the top button and it will keep going also the power indicator is just below the top button (dumb placement).
I just purchased the flood light and used on a job (?) site. It survives a lot of drops from my clumsy hands. Also, has a screw hole at the backside to turn it into a body light!
You say they have way more 4 volt tools. Where can we see them? Btw, I love all your videos. I'll be goin to Home Depot next weekend to look for some of these.
Great video! I was wondering why the Ryobi 4-V batteries that come with the tools dont have the L.E.D indicator light but the ones sold separately do have them?
From.what I've bought so far, I like them all. The rotary cutter is my favorite next to the wand flashlight for detailing my ride. They even have 3amp batteries as well😊
Picked up the first light you tested and it is fantastic, for $30 no complaints. The pivoting and inspection light was out out of stock at my local HD otherwise id pick up those as well.
Lionel here in Central California. You are right, “rye”, like the bread or liquor. I looked it up. The other tool guy is wrong. Nice job of keeping things moving with bit of humor, plus a good explanation of operation.
Ryobi! Make the green parts on the lights glow-in-the-dark. If there's a black out there hard to find. But if you keep your flashlights near a lamp or light source, if the lights go out you can see them.
The big hit for me is the folding work light. When folded flat if mounts very low profile on your refrigerator…So you can find the DANG thing when you need it! Very unobtrusive. The other big hit was the power cutter. It works really well on the dozens of boxes we get from Amazon each month! Cut them up into small pieces and they all go into the recycling bin.
Might not have a huge overlap in audiences, but that foam cutter is a cosplayers dream tool right there. Also great for miniature and wargaming terrain sculpting.
I love the small square ryobi 4v work light. It’s awesome for tight spaces like hvac repairs. It would probably also be awesome for automotive repairs- either when working on brakes/suspension or in an engine compartment. I also use the new ryobi 4v rotary tool. It doesn’t have a ton of torque, but it’s awesome for detail work. Lightweight rotary tools give you more control.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………………………………………………………………….I carry the air pump and a flashlight in my saddle bags when I’m traveling. The battery can change from my motorcycle 12 volt outlet when I’m riding and I carry a couple of them. Works great !!
I own a couple of those, the cable… Broke after one week. The male end of it just broke off. The power scrubber is just pointless. You can get the scrubbing attachment for a regular drill. The pivoting flashlight is awesome! I use it all the time. They also have another mini light that isn’t in this video but it’s for camping. Very nice little light for the money.
You need that power cutter to get almost anything out of the package today😂😂😂
And something for unscrewing. Came across similar items for jar lids but still needs like strength to get jar to twist. This would be for the independent woman - she either lives by herself or spouse sick/handicapped.
That's EXACTLY why I'm going to buy it!! Frustrating as hell trying to get that hard plastic packaging off!
And it’s more safe
I went with Ryobi and don’t regret it in the least. Love the one handed reciprocating saw!
I was looking at a one-handed reciprocating saw the other day. I was curious, what is some good case use for that tool? I was curious, what is some good case use for that tool? I may purchase it anyway, just checking to see what you thought?

Hahahaha 🤣👊👊👊
How strong is the magnet? I'd like to use it in the automotive field.
@@dandorris8531 strong. Believe it is a rare earth magnet.
Please let me know that looking towards the blade mounting boltside, which way does the blade rotates, clockwise or anticlockwise?

Lets hope Ryobi dont abandon this format like they did the Tek-4 platform, I bought a few tools then they stopped making them.
I doubt they will. It's a large and expanding lineup. They probably make a killing off these 🤔
I have my eyes on that inspection light, laser flashlight, and small panel light.
Nice, not the most economical.
Of course they’ll discontinue this line, how else will they get you to buy another of whatever you already probably got two or three of already?….🤷🏽♂️

Thanks. Now I need another tool box. I just got the 4v high speed rotary tool with the USB-C regargable bat-rey. Now I need all of them.
I have that one to and really like it. Appreciate the feedback Jacob 👊👊👊

Thank you for the informative video!
2:38 I have 2 of the small square lights. Love them. They can also mount on studs in unfinished attic or crawl space.
Wonderful video. I enjoy your humor very much. I think I will be buying myself some Ryobi tools thanks to you.
I've been following the small battery tools for a long while waiting for them to fill out more. Ideal gift for the wife
My father-in-law is going to have a great Christmas thanks to you. My wife and I have been buying 2 of all these great Ryobi (not Reeobi) tools & gadgets the last few weeks, for him and us.

That's for the awesome comment and the heads up K81👊👊👊
Would that cutter do well with FRP or do you think the blade would bite the dust right quick?
That fan and magnifier look nice for my electronics soldering job
Love to see more on those ratchets! Those are cool! Or should I say reeaal niiiiiccce liiiiikkke!
Since I already had a 4-volt B&D driver, when I came across a cutter attachment for the driver for $10, I ordered it - less than the $40 Ryobi cutter. It is very useful when I cut up corrugated boxes - better than using a box cutter.
I just subscribed because a Ryobi battery operated fan told me to.
I'm putting that foam cutter on my Christmas Gifts list. My stepdad uses foam for his modelling dioramas, and I know he has "drooled" over some other TH-cam makers' videos, where they were using a similar (but corded) foam cutting tool.
All those tools are super cool 😎 👌🏻 and I love it 😀 ❤
You forgot to tell the people that the FVL52 also clips onto a 2x4 piece of wood...
Nice video, Cool Tools!
cool tools great show two thumb up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Rick👊👊👊👊
Had to leave two comments for this video!!! Dude awesome job! :^)
Haha, thanks so much brother 👊
These are definitely cool . Thanks
Brill all the info n positive info 👌keep up the brill work
I want to get the foam cutter i could find a lot of useful stuff to do with it
I have a little driver that I bought probably 6 yrs ago that runs on the 4 volt. It is great for little things-especially when you have arthritic hands. Uses regular bits. Changing out door knobs. Tightening random screws. And you don’t have to get out your big drill.
I could have used that foam cutter in college. For my architecture landscape modeling

A lot of guys like to rag on Ryobi but they're an innovative company that makes some cool and useful tools
Good video. Guess I'm gonna nave to go out and get me some new line of tools.
They would be smart to add a flat end to the Foam Cutter Kit to flatten inset foam surfaces or just open flat surfaces.
Love their line up.
The r-eye-obee foam cutter does wonders on hard cheese blocks. We use them in the restaurant biz
That's definitely real nass like, I liked the cutter, LED lights, magnifying glass and charger.
Smeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
Brotha man Jason, thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!!!!!!
Those RYE-OBI-BREAD-KANOBI toolz seem REAL NAS LIKE!!!
Completely Awesome!!!!
Sweet sweet stuff!!
I got almost all that stuff at homedepot this blackfriday for 290$. Def love it
I picked up the regular flashlight last week and the cutter just came in today along with the soldering iron all for the USB power. so far so good. They sell them at home depot. They have a large lineup and seem to be coming out with many more
Yes, I want all of them
I need one of those ryobi not reeobee thingy
This 4v line of tools is great for hobby and craft work. Awesome video.
Great video! I was wondering why the Ryobi 4-V batteries that come with the tools dont have the L.E.D indicator light but the ones sold separately do have them?
very nice like channel.
Very nass like comment 😎👊👊
I gotta say, I like thos little platform. I. Really curious to what they add in the future.
Wow bro so cool 😎
From.what I've bought so far, I like them all. The rotary cutter is my favorite next to the wand flashlight for detailing my ride. They even have 3amp batteries as well😊
Can you cut wood using that cutter (1st tool shown)?
❤all the cool unique tools they have. Here We Go Steelers!!!!! Smash the brownies and that like button.
Yeah buddy!!! 👊👊👊👊👊
I just bought that power cutter yesterday :D
I use that brush on #2 and put it on my electric drill with an extension to clean shoes. They come out clean from the inside out.
"Burning ants has never been so fun!" :^D Thanks for another great video! Here's one for the algorythm! :)
Appreciate you James 👊👊👊
That thing is really niceeee likeee!
You are my new best friend after this comment Lionel 😎👊👊👊
That power cutter is probably the most used tool in the household, everyone uses that little thing 😂
I ordered one earlier today.
That little fan has been great for my work truck, since idling isn't allowed. Even in this 100 degree weather we've been having.
Ryobi! Make the green parts on the lights glow-in-the-dark. If there's a black out there hard to find. But if you keep your flashlights near a lamp or light source, if the lights go out you can see them.
How do you get that package cutter … out of its package?
It's like the chicken and egg thing
The big hit for me is the folding work light. When folded flat if mounts very low profile on your refrigerator…So you can find the DANG thing when you need it! Very unobtrusive. The other big hit was the power cutter. It works really well on the dozens of boxes we get from Amazon each month! Cut them up into small pieces and they all go into the recycling bin.

Interesting, thanks for the comment 👊
Useful for architecture students as well! I don't know how many hours I've wasted cutting foam.
I do love the 18v lineup... not sure these small platform tools are for me though. Maybe someday.
I love the small square ryobi 4v work light. It’s awesome for tight spaces like hvac repairs. It would probably also be awesome for automotive repairs- either when working on brakes/suspension or in an engine compartment.

Do you have the link for USB-C to USB-C cable?
homedepot.sjv.io/rQW50y 👊
I have Rye Obi tools and a fan and light. Back in 1983 we had Ryobi Printing Presses- who knew they'd be replaced by a xerox machine?
The foam cutter should come in a case with foam 😂
Magnifying for soldering
Is their previous Tek4 batteries compatible with the new line? Thank you for another very informative video.
Sorry no. I have both and wish they were
Q: Can the circular cutter score drywall?
That cutter might help with cutting the cardboard box for recycling :)
I’m looking for som3 thing that Ryobi makes that one could use for a planer.
Been using that scregun for decades
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………………………………………………………………….I carry the air pump and a flashlight in my saddle bags when I’m traveling. The battery can change from my motorcycle 12 volt outlet when I’m riding and I carry a couple of them. Works great !!
I just got into the 4v.. would like more.
Got the driver for electric stuff
Is it the same as Milwaukee little battery?
If only Ryobi made lightsabers. ;)
I have the screwdriver in that system, nice small unit.
3:30 Ryobi is going tactical
The tools are neat- having to screw a cap over the battery sucks.
You did the Zelda treasure chest jingle lol awesome.
Nice video. Most of these are not available, from Ryobi, Home Depot or anywhere else.
4 volts is a bit on the low side. Thanks for sharing
Pretty cool tools, but just one question. What the heck is a "batray"???
Cool good fir keeping in the car
I want a kit...screwdriver, wrench, cuter and lite
That foam cutting tool could easily be used to cut 🧀
Omg my brain just exploded!!!! Block of Velveeta....here I come!!!!!!!
Glad you call it correctly RYE-OBI not REE-OBI.
I don’t know if I can trust his pronunciation the way he says bat ray (battery).
@@richparkinson9647 How about bat-tree? Always thought that was a deep south thing,
