Part 3 A walk along the Canal JUNE 2024 ABERMULE

A walk along the Montgomery Canal JUNE 2024 Abermule path a bit over grown hard to see the canal in places for greenery. The canal follows the road so a bit noisy. The Bridge at Abermule cast-iron lettering proudly proclaims, it was the 'second iron bridge in the County of Montgomery' and 'was erected in the year 1852', though the name of the supplier of the ironwork - Brymbo (a company based near Penson's home in Gwersyllt, Denbighshire) - is cast into a plate which gives a date of 1853.

That is a nice walk Colin, we have done it a couple of times. Your were right to be wary of those swans.
