As a Brit, living in the US in quite a soccer town (Seattle), I think the MLS will always struggle with the lack of promotion and relegation. There is no tension. Love you Poch. Come home one day , love Tottenham 🙏🏽👍🏽
I can’t believe we got Poch 👏
Even though football is bigger than basketball, the MLS will never be as followed as the NBA, one is the probably the 30th best football league in the world, the other is where all the best basketball players in the world dream to play
You can't name 30 better leagues, 15 sure, 20 maybe, 30? Get out of here.
@@londonsarsenal20th isn't all that much better than 30th mate. The US isn't that low in almost any sport that they try. I think with more Hispanic immigrants they may be alot better in the coming years.
?
"one of the top 5 coaches in Europe over the last 5 years" Really!
I see many Americans call arteta the best coach after pep, we all have deluded moments.
@@Cymru85 well tbf mikel arteta has been the only one to challenge pep in england past couple of seasons so he is right up there... obviously ancelotti would be above him but its not total delusion to suggest arteta is an elite coach right now
If you’ve still got Carragher and Neville what actually makes it “US”
21:23 Took me back to the famous Mancini interview, Nearly fumbled it gary 🤣
Great Coach He Help To Improve The Young USMNT
oh man i was so excited to see this the small clips was kiiling me 🤣
Rebecca Lowe for the uk version of the overlap
Pochettino such a gentleman such a class act
I live 40 miles away from Liverpool and need subtitles for carragher…so good luck yanks
I'm born and raised in Los Angeles and I understand Carragher easy. His accent isn't THAT hard to understand. Newcastle is another story, though.
Drank in there last week great atmosphere and very friendly
Carragher actually has to have some kind of photographic memory. Seems to remember every game hes ever played in pretty good detail.
Why didn’t you take ROY & IAN with you???!!! 😭
can already picture roys reaction when they asked hi to be apart of this 😂😂😂
@@MM-sc9vghe is apart…because he’s not here.
@@MM-sc9vgNahnsense.
Great show
Great podcast
You can almost see Jamies head grow 3 sizes larger while sitting in that bar of his namesake. Lol
It's interesting to me that Gary keeps suggesting Poch has fallen out of love with the club game, which is why he's taken this job. Like Gary wouldn't jump at the chance to manage a host nation's team in a World Cup.
Next week : Gary Neville ''The Overlap Antartica sponsored by Skybet''
If the US invest in football the way they do with other sports a tournament win may happen sooner than you think
That will never happen. US Soccer is scared of the inner cities.
