We studied this brand as well as a few others. We went for Sleep on Latex. Great company and very helpful. We also believe Dunlop is more durable than Talalay after owning latex in the past. Either way, more people should be looking into latex. Especially if you are tired of foam beds getting valleys / soft spots 3-4 years into your expensive experience.
Here are the return instructions they sent me: We are sorry to learn that you would like to return your mattress but it is our pleasure to assist you with your request. We will do everything we can to help expedite the process for you. Please find the instructions for returning your mattress and natural latex comfort layers (if applicable) below: 1.) All return items must be boxed and placed outside of your home, on ground level. If you live in an apartment complex on any floor but the first, you will be responsible for bringing the mattress down to the ground level for pickup. 2.) Wrap the mattress, as a whole, in heavy plastic wrap to protect it during shipping. Please do not take the mattress apart. 3.) You can place the mattress in a large box or you can piece together several boxes, as long as the mattress is adequately covered. * You can folding the mattress in half (lengthwise); then wrap it in plastic and tape around the outside of the plastic. * You can also package the mattress flat - place the wrapped mattress in a box and tape it securely with strong packing tape. * We do not provide boxes or packing material for returns. Boxes and supplies can be found in Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, Walmart, moving companies, U-Haul and local grocery and retail stores. 4.) Orthopedic Foundations and Adjustable Beds are non-returnable, as they can be used with any mattress. 5.) Any products returned soiled or with smoke damage will be returned to the customer in lieu of issuing refunds, as our liquidators will not accept them in this condition. 6.) All parts and components of your mattress must be returned in order to receive your complete refund. If any component of your mattress is missing from your return, your refund will be pro-rated accordingly. 7.) Your mattress will not be picked up by the carrier unless it is packaged according to these instructions. The carrier is responsible for damage in transit and they will refuse any pickup which is improperly packaged. Once your mattress is ready for pickup, simply reply back to this message to provide a date range in a return email, to select your pick-up day (it must be at least 3 business days away). Pick-ups take place on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The following information is needed for the Bill of Lading: * The number of boxes * The length, width and height of each box * The contents of each box * If a comfort exchange layer is included in the return * The reason for the return Once we have this information we will order the Bill of Lading and send it to you, via email, by the end of the day on the day before your pick-up. Kindly print out one BOL to tape to each box and one copy of each for the driver. The box(es) must be just outside of your front door and someone over 18 years of age must be home to sign for it. After your return is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to you, in the form of your original payment. This typically takes 7 to 10 business days after receipt of your return to our facility. We take great pride in providing excellent service and products to our customers and your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I have this bed and rate it highly. Latex fits your form like a glove. Comfort is 10/10. The only drawbacks are that I still get hot from time to time, and it's an absolute BEAST to move (heavy and flops around like a Jello mold). Good luck beating a natural latex mattress with other natural materials for this price.
Thank you for the review! I'm a side sleeper that prefers a softer mattress. Which is softer this Latex for Less or the Sleep on Latex Pure Green mattress?
Hi. Im 6.1 and 350 lbs. I'm a side sleeper primarily. Some stomach sleep. Not necessarily this mattress, but do you think latex (all latex) might be a good option for those requirements ? Thanks
I think you're going to want a bit more support than a full latex mattress generally provides. I would look for something with a combination of foam (side sleeping pressure relief) and coil (support) layers. Check out the WinkBeds+ or the DreamCloud. sleepopolis.com/mattress-reviews/winkbed-plus-mattress-review/ sleepopolis.com/mattress-reviews/dreamcloud-mattress-review/
I was wondering if your team has had any experience with the "Eco Terra 11″ Luxury Latex Mattress." It seems like a nice Hybrid option with 100% latex and Individually wrapped coils. I'm not finding any real 3rd party reviews for this mattress. Supposedly when they first started in 2016 there was 10% urethane in the mattress but the newest model is suppose to be 100% latex. Thank you for any input.
I have not, but if you're looking for a latex hybrid I would recommend checking out the Idle: th-cam.com/video/PnYlPzvin7o/w-d-xo.html or the Avocado: th-cam.com/video/9JBbgdtHAyE/w-d-xo.html
Hi there - I am 137lbs and my partner is about 150lbs - we are both side sleepers and found the vocado mattress (WITH the pillow top) much too firm for us. Now we are debating if we should go with the Soft Sleep on Latex, or if we should just go for a foam, like Nolah. Any advice is appreciated!
If you're into latex and looking for a softer option I would recommend checking out the Zenhaven: sleepopolis.com/mattress-reviews/zenhaven-mattress-review/ The Nolah is a great mattress and definitely softer than the Avocado. It is a much different feel than latex provides, so expect some differences besides firmness.
Pray that you don't need to send it back! The return procedure is horrible. They demand that I fold the mattress lengthwise, even though it was shipped rolled in the other direction. This thing is over 200 lbs and a pain to handle. I have a box that it will fit into but it needs to be folded the other way. The lengthwise fold applies to innerspring mattresses, this is pure foam! They also demand that you box it up after you wrap it in plastic and have it outside at the curb for pickup. You also have to wait 30 days to return without a $99 surcharge. It looks like they do everything they can to make the return difficult. They did however offer to send me a free 2 inch topper, or a 50% refund and I could keep the mattress. I do not want it. It is hard as a rock and too heavy (hard to make the bed alone) I bought the King for $1200. It also sleeps hotter than innerspring. Regrets all the way around.
Latex is much bouncier than the memory foam used in tempurpedic mattresses. You'll feel more on top of the mattress and be able to change positions easier. It also tends to sleep a bit cooler.
Thanks. I guess I just have to go try one out at a mattress store. I slept on.a Tempur pedic at an airbnb and loved that it really helped my shoulders feel better, but I don't want to have all the chemicals from the foam in my house.
I am about 190 and have been as heavy as 220 and my partner is about 280, would a medium firm latex mattress be the right fit for us? What latex mattress would be the right fit for us?
Firmness kind of depends on what type of sleepers you are. I would say you should look at a hybrid mattress to get some support from coils. Maybe give the Idle a chance: th-cam.com/video/PnYlPzvin7o/w-d-xo.html
Sleepopolis Thx! Our last coil mattress as a soft one was worn out in 18 months or less. We are about middle aged and heavier (I’m working on reducing my weight, but on occasion there is reasons I hit the 220 weight), so we are thinking medium firm for what feels good for both of us, and we need it to last. My spouse gets hot easily in bed. We don’t like memory foam. Any other suggestions?
@@rebeccacristea917 It does sound like latex would be a great material for you. It's durable, bouncy and does a great job of avoiding body heat trapping. In terms of specific mattresses I would recommend, I think the Idle, Zenhaven or Avocado are all worth taking a look at for you.
I had very little good experience with this company, but also a whole lotta bad experience. The twin bed for children is just fine if your child is lightweight and young. We’ve been very pleased with it for over a year. However, the beds for adults are a no go and when you try to return some thing, they will try to prevent you from doing that. They do not want to give you your money back. The foundation was total garbage. Not only were some slats broken, but even if they were all replaced, I still would not use it because it is so flimsy that it would make a mattress sag. $400 wasted, and they refused to get my money back. They offered to replace ONE slat even though Multiple slots are broken and the foundation is a system where you can’t just change one slot they’re all connected.
I just posted my nightmare story and in don’t think it’s done. I’m going to take this to the better business bureau and the attorney general. They have a VERY misleading advertisement in regard the the no risk trial period.
Your video is really Great! And your socks are very nice.To make your video better,I suggest you prepare many different socks and wear completely different socks in every video!!
These reviews are good for the product information but the company is another story. You need to take into consideration what the rest of the experience will be. Latex for Less has very poor customer service. They don’t state anywhere that you will be responsible for boxing up the mattress if you need to replace or return it. #1 most people don’t hold onto the box. #2 most people don’t have heavy duty packing tape, and construction bags in their home. #3 You will need at least 2 people to roll the mattress get it into a heavy duty construction garbage bag, and get a vacuum to suck the air out. That is the ONLY way we could get the mattress back into the box. And that required a roll and a half of tape to keep the mattress from blowing the box open. The ONLY reason I went through all of that is because I was getting nowhere with customer service. I was told I was dealing with the manager and the owner was unavailable. I am expecting my credit on my credit card, if I don’t get that, I will be in touch with the attorney general and the better business bureau.

Sleep on latex pure green is fantastic, always best to have zippered cover so you can change it up as your needs change.

So.. how did it go?
Ugly return policy….
I would buy immediately this mattress with him included
I bought this a couple or so months ago. The firm side sags in the middle. I am 120 lbs. --very disappointed.

I'll say the Sleep on Latex is sliiiightly softer
Sleepopolis thanks! Does that also mean the Sleep on Latex also measured better pressure relief?
I need some of that cooling comfort.

This looks like the same exact review you did on PlushBeds.. is Latex for Less the liquidators for PlushBeds returns?
Nope, separate companies. Though both are latex cores with cotton covers, the mattresses are a bit different.

Hi Cory, did you figure out how to return it?
Which firmness did you get?
For my new home masterbedroom. But, it is quite heavy.
Great video & written review. This is my kind of mattress and would be delighted to win. Thanks for the oppertunity!
How does the feel of this compare to sleeping on a tempurpedic or similar mattresses?
