The entire concept with Latex For Less Mattresses are that they are designed to be a tremendous value, especially compared to other latex mattress brands such as Avocado and Zenhaven. After all, this particular bed still has organic cotton, wool, and latex foam, just like the others. And it comes in multiple firmness options. Interestingly, the bed is relatively soft for a latex mattress. It's around a medium, even for both firmness options.

Just so I get a better understanding what exactly is this review about? because I can't help but notice there was no experience about using the mattress.
I bought the queen size and am using the soft side. Zero aches and pains. Since I need to replace a king mattress, I was looking at their website this morning and apparently there is no Talalay latex in their current offering- just two densities of Dunlop.
I'd like to try latex on a hybrid to see the differences over memory foam. Knowing it stays cooler appeals to me. Appreciate the flippable design. I'd like to see the Latex for Less compared to the Avocado latex and the Saatva latex mattresses. Great info

I have tried multiple beds the last few months and have decided to try latex since none of them were right for me.
Can you tell me which latex bed you would recommend for me?
I am 120 pounds, combination sleeper. I do not like the feel of memory foam and prefer more of a traditional mattress feel, like I am on top of the mattress rather than sinking into it. I sleep hot, and all of the hybrid beds I have tried claim to be cooling but are not at all. I prefer a balance of soft but firm for support. I have watched so many videos as well as read many reviews and cannot figure out which would be best for me and I am tired of buying and returning. Please help!
Great options now but what brand of latex has the most firm option (I know most latex beds tend to be softer)
I personally like a mattress that has coils but I’d like to see this mattress compared to the ecocloud hybrid mattress or even the zenhaven mattress, it would be cool to see this mattress compared to a luxury mattress.
I like the option to return. I’m so indecisive so it’s good to know that most of these brands offer returns.
Be careful, returning a bed that is difficult to fold or roll makes this a difficult bed to return to their standards. They also don't return any other of their products such as the base or pillows.
Yeah, they really don’t want you returning the bed, so like the other commentor, said they try to trick you buy pretty much not accepting any beds, because no freaking person can box the bed properly
I would like to see this mattress compared to other more expensive latex mattresses such as the avocado or Brentwood home latex beds just to see how/if price really does affect performance
Latex for less is almost half the price ($950 for Queen, cyber week deal) of most of the others and I prefer the 2" Talalay sleep surface with 6" Dunlop support vs the ultra cheap "sleeponlatex" on Amazon. I'm very happy with mine but it is heavy and a chore to get up a flight of stairs. I also have an older Sealy Dunlop latex "Brasswood" mattress is this one is more plush (at least on the medium side)
I'd like to see this compared to other flipable mattresses like the Layla.
I'd like to see you compare the Latex for Less to other all latex mattresses from SleepEz, ARizona Mattresses and Spindle Mattress--those are the ones I looked at when I bought a latex mattress. Also, Foam Sweet Foam.
That price isn't bad at all. How would you compare this Latex for Less mattress to the Saatva Zenhaven?
I really like the all natural idea but I am a larger person. Maybe an innerspring mattress would keep the off gassing under control and be strong enough for me

So who has a double-sided zippered cover, organic latex Dunlop and Talalay (or both with different ILD's) with coil springs center, 13GA edge and midsection with 15GA head/toe?
At this price point, I don't think you could put it against avacado. Maybe do a latex vs. memory foam (nectar, casper)

Not a big fan of latex for a lot of reasons ( heat retention, bounce, motion transfer) but might be ok for my kids
So not looking for a budget bed. Unless it's for guest room and I dont have one of those. I do however so want to know what a good latex bed feels like.

CORRECTION: If you buy this mattress, and choose to return it, you must put it in a box (no, I'm not kidding) before the company will pick it up.
Obviously, you do not have to use the same box that it arrived in, since it would be nearly impossible for most people to vacuum-pack the mattress.
That said, you will either have to pay for a box, and then get the mattress inside...or (and this sounds worse to me, albeit cheaper) wrap the mattress with a bunch of smaller boxes that you've "broken down", and, then, tape it all up before pick-up.

This comment is being posted on May 16, 2023 and is a follow up to the helpful information Alan G. was nice enough to share with everyone.
On the Latex for Less "Returns" page, it reads: "If after 30 days you decide that the Latex For Less Mattress is not for you, you may return it for a full refund of your purchase price. Simply *box the mattress for shipping* and we will arrange for curbside pickup." (emphasis mine)
Like Alan G. cautioned, the latex mattresses arrive compressed and vacuum-sealed. Because of this, I contacted the company and asked where I might find a box large enough and sturdy enough to ship a queen or king mattress. The company responded that they offer a concierge mattress removal service for $99.
Obviously, this wouldn't be a truly "free" return policy. However, it would be convenient and perhaps not completely unreasonable for a 120-night trial.
Not to mention, they will do absolutely anything to try to get you to not return it.
Their policy says if you try to return it before 30 days there’s a $99 fee, when I try to return it before 30 days because of medical condition that came up, which would make this mattress on usable for my disabled veteran husband, they said they would waive the $99 fee for charge me almost $400 to return it… no thank you how does that make sense?!
The foundation I received is totally broken and is utter crap even if it wasn’t broken.
I will give credit where credit is due, I bought a twin of these mattresses a year ago and it has been very nice for my very small five-year-old. These mattresses are not for adults and the company is full of shady people.
@@cjdflkj I decided against buying from Latex for Less, as the Better Business Bureau website shows that Latex for Less is not BBB Accredited and their Customer Review Rating is only 1.29 out of 5.00. There are 14 customer complaints available for review. But, if anyone still wants to buy from them, wait until they run one of their many sales. I've seen them do it several times a year (New Year, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Summer Sale, Labor Day, etc.), offering $600 off mattresses and various savings on other items.

I’d like to see a comparison with Avocado
IMO, latex pillows are the most comfortable, it’s all we had in our house growing up in the 70’s, which makes me very interested in a latex mattress. Very surprised at the reasonable price of this one.
The price is nice but wouldn’t really be interested bc it’s all foam , I like hybrid and need the extra support. But wonder how it compares to my green mattress and awara

I have a latex mattress, and it sleeps hot...constant turning to get away from the heat, and it stays warm to the touch after you move....really nice if you are cold all the time, but not so good if you need something to cool you down.
Then you probably don’t have natural latex then. All the beds in my house are natural latex and none of them run hot. Even temp year round.

Wow lots of people with similar back issues in the comments. I'm currently sleeping on my parents old mattress which literally is breaking from the inside out because all my money is going towards seeing my wife for the first time in 10 months due to the pandemic who is in Colombia while we are waiting for the interview so we can finally be together in the states.
