@Vzzj I don't think it has to do with lag at all. Certain characters have funny hit boxes and timing where akuma can hit them. Some can be swept faster than others. I'm pretty sure that's what it was.
@claxtizle "The Vortex" is another name for Akuma wake-up mixup metagame. Other characters can do it too, but Akuma has a lot more options for it, and his options are really, really safe. Kinda like a really bad ass corner game, but from all parts of the screen.
@ShaundellisTheOne True, his zoning is really good. I like his "upfront pressure" when he does crazy mixup. I don't usually zone with his gadouken, because a lot of people cry over fireball spams.

@Nexttimeillwin Them facing each other only shows who has a better grasp in the Gouken vs. Gouken match-up. Doesn't mean Desora is that close to Bullca where it matterst. Bullcat has a better grasp of most match-ups then Desora from what I've seen. Still love both of them though :)

@JOELSYKO Which is? You didn't say what is this "pretty good" way. :/ Gouken's always been worse then every single shoto even in SFIV (except Dan anyway). Thats what lacking a good BnB combo or damage dealer and lacking a decent "get off me" move does to a character.

I do read the background stories? Akuma is more of an anti-villian. He isn't pure evil. He doesn't kill just to kill. He only kills those he deems worthy opponents, example, he spares Gen because he learns Gen is sick, thus making the fight unfair to Akuma. His ultimate goal is to either kill Ryu, or die in glorious battle. Maybe YOU should read the backgrounds. They have a wiki for people like you for a reason.
