I'm grateful, without your guide I would be stuck, we all have varying degrees of skill, a fact that some viewers cant seem to grasp.
I have a thought on why viewers seem so eager to criticize:
Zack Scott is a guy who plays videogames for a living since a couple of years now, with an uploadscedule like a chinese spam-bot and still he struggles through them like he's the first person who ever walked the earth. I'm not saying he is daft or anything but you have to admit it's fascinating that he did't check the shop for bombs for example, or that he didn't get that the powder lights fires while still in the witch-hut.
He might even be a hidden genius....
I do believe this is part of his appeal, he makes you bite your lips in frustration when he just doesn't seem to "get" things that seem to be obvious to most, just to come round and figure things out mostly in the same episode or not long there after, giving you this rush of endorphins of witnessing a solution to your frustration.
....lol i'm just having fun over here.
TL;DR We all be playing Checkers while Zack is playing Chess =_=

Yep, me too. I wander around looking for solutions until it ceases to be fun. (Video games are SUPPOSED to be fun, right?) When it gets frustrating, I sneak a peek at Zack’s video. :-)

Oddly enough, fairies don't revive you if you die in this game. Something else takes that role.

In the library when you use dash attack you can drop dawn the big book. The book will show you the power of the colours. (red or blue) They are in the colour dungeon. He is in cemetery where you need to push a plate and it show you the way down. GOOD LUCK😘😘😘

Great guide that a new player will need with this game. This game is actually very difficult. I got stuck in the first hour at the mysterious forest and gave up at the part with the racoon.
Honestly im enjoying watching others play this through fresh eyes. I know this game by heart, but watching him struggle with puzzles I see as easy now reminds me of when i struggled with some of this when i was a dumb 5th grader. Love this game.

I friction' love the sound of the Pegasus Boots, which were also in Link to the Past. So much of this game is inspired by Link To The Past. So glad its on Super Nintendo Online. Fun playing it on the Switch.

Zack Scott games In the pothole garden you can jump those two holes and get that piece of heart is just a little hard to do

I didn't know you could dash into those teleporting guys after you get the Pegasus Boots. That is so much easier! For anyone who is having trouble getting the bottle from the fishing pond, I suggest you go see Crazy Tracy in Koholint Prarie. She has magic that will heal you if you lose all your hearts. That saved me on this boss
I don't know if you've done this in a future video yet, but use the Pegasus Boots to dash into the center staircase in the library. There's a book on top of it.
For the dream part. I found it easier to just dash right through them by holding down the left trigger.

In the shop if you pick up an item then turn the shop keeper around so he isn't looking at the door you can walk right out without paying.

The weird little guys with the red noses in the Key Cavern can also be killed by bow and arrow, but you have to buy it for a very high price in the Item Shop in Mabe Town first.
Btw you could actually steal the stuff from the shop ! You could dodge the guy and get out quickly, just... Don't go back there again ... You'll regret it.
And you'll be called "THIEF" for the rest of the game!
there is a way you can do it without dying.

The one thing you missed... You can steal from the shop. by moving so the shopkeeper doesnt see you leave.

I love all the references to A Link to the Past.
I didn't see much of link to the past yet besides those eye ball structures that remind me of the ones that shoot lazers. In fact I'm still working on botw, ocarina of time, link to the past, and Oracle of ages. I've been a long time Nintendo fan but last year I got into Zelda completely.
