- The testing of how long the tank will last before the compressor starts again is not correct. I predict it will last quite a lot longer with the pedal and handpiece attached later..

Nick, I run a similar setup with the compressor (not as tidy though). Set the cut off pressure as high as is safe for the tank. The compressor motor can handle it. I run my engraver at 1.8 bar (Lindsay style) and with a 4 bar setting, your motor will cycle endlessly. Actually, I have moved away from this setup to a Huges style setup (same as you had). Added a three way foot control (China import) and balanced the diaphragm pump (medical surplus) output to the volume of the hand piece. Runs beautifully and does not overheat at all. Will be interested to see what new graver you are planning for your setup.
1.8 bars for the handpiece? gosh, that's huge pressure for the handpiece!? I think mine will be operating at 0.5 bars max. I think I got this right.. hopefully.. I am planning for a very nice handpiece and will show you guys in couple of days.. going on holidays now.. stay tuned I think this will be a pretty awesome machine, and I think it will be better then what I had before.. fingers crossed.. thanks, Enjoy

Why you change upper portion compressor , you use only tank and use rotary compressor
Super delo, sklepam po imenu in intonaciji, da ste Slovenec, če sem v zmoti lahko pišem angleško, bi vas poprosil za nasvet kako do delujočega sistema za graviranje, ki me cenovno ne bi pognal na zeleno vejo(z zanko okoli vratu), sem 62, družba pri nas te odpiše že precej prej in se borim z minimalnim preživetjem(zszaposl), hvala lepa in lep, prijeten dopust. Zdravo! kako naj pojasnim. Ena varianta je kar sem naredil sam pred novim projektom, druga pa je ta ki jo delam sedaj. Graviranje je kar precej drago če ga želiš opravljati z užitkom, drugače kar gre ampak vedno nekaj najdeš, da potem hočeš izboljšat.. odvisno kaj hočeš doseči. strojček ki sem ga naredil sedaj ni preveč drag, ampak je treba še upoštevati da je treba kupiti primež, gravirne nože, kamne za brusit, šablone itd itd..kar precej se nabere s časom in se kar ne neha nekako :) Če je želja pa se seveda najde način za vse. Vsekakor je pa treba nekje začet, potem se pa že najde ideja kako do cilja. Predlagam enako varianto kot sem jo imel jaz in sem vse prikazal v videjih. Poglejte moje filmčke na mojem kanalu in boste dobili kakšno idejo. Bom pa pomagal če bo kakšno vprašanje. LP
