Oh neat, I had misread how sagas works, I thought the final trigger sacrificed the saga with state based effect kinda like the legends rules, but it sticks around as long as the trigger is on the stack.
Also useful tech for any sort of Shattergang Brothers deck. You have to do it as the trigger goes on the stack, but before it resolves. That's how to squeeze every drop out of a saga.
There’s some crazy synergy these days in the Golgari artifacts sacrifice theme: Baba Lysaga, Gymome, Ich-Tekek and Keskit, Glissa, Mazerek. It’s crazy how many options for such a seemingly niche gimmick. I wonder if it would be smart to buy a bunch of copies of Marionette Master and Disciple of the Vault, just because the more treasure cards are printed, the better these get.
i actually went heavy land sacrifice, with man-lands, artifact lands, lands that have value when sac'd, and then land recursion, play lands-from-graveyard, play extra lands, and explore.
Great deck idea! Very great break down of the process. Also I’d like look at the deck list, but the TCG link doesn’t appear to be working at the moment. Is it listed anywhere else?
Just updated the link. I'd love your opinion on the card list. I'm experimenting with not doing fill decks, but instead listing all the cards I mentioned (and a handful more). The rationale is nobody will exactly copy the lands, mana rocks and the staple removal spells. Is this way of any value to you, or do you want to see it in deck form? - the other notion is that I end up talking about a few directions, so the viewer can choose what they like best.
The highlight of my work time TH-cam watching. Thank Sean.
Glad to hear! Thanks for saying so!
Silversmote Ghoul seems like another sweet card for the deck if you can make space
Thanks for the Yedora tip. Seems like a great include
Blossoming Bog Beast is super fun in this deck

It's the greatest news I've ever heard I kept sacrificing my sagas before they were done.
Another excellent deck idea, thanks. This is my favourite commander show
Thanks for the kind words! I'm honoured!
Yedora is a clever addition, I like it!
Gotta hand that one to the brew team in the discord!
Love Baba Lysaga ❤️ Thank you for the video !
Glad to hear!
I like the artifact creature equipments from KND, bestow creatures from Theros block and baby lasagna would like them too lol
Absolutely!

I'm not investor, but I'd grab about 4 to make sure I'm covered for future decks.

I like it! Leaning more on lands lets you devote more deck to other shenanigans.
Nice vid, I didn’t consider adding sagas into the deck
Glad you liked it!
Baba lysaga in Myrkul 👀
Oh yes!!

if you dont like treasure you might also look at viridian revel to draw a card per crack with it being a may ability so you dont deck yourself
That is certainly some anti-treasure tech!
I want to play with this dood
