I love makgeolli and definitely prefer it to soju! I want to try making my own at some point, but here (the Netherlands) it's quite hard to get the nuruk starter.

I think the taste shouldn’t be altered too much, i’ve also used a plastic bowl with pretty much the same taste. That’s a great question! 🍶🍶

You actually can! But keep it chilled in the fridge, it can keep for maybe a couple more days
