Time has moved on and many Quo fans just want the same sound and line up as the original 4 in the seventies...which was and is the original Quo sound, but time waits for no man, and considering it's 50 years since then, ill health, bereavement, different line ups, and different reasons for leaving, I think the line up at present do a pretty dam good job at keeping Quo alive, for our dedicated army. I got hooked when I was 26, at Newcastle Town hall...I am 71 now, and love them just as much as ever. For me, they will always be the best rock band in the world, for 45 years I've played their music every single day, and will continue until I'm gone. Thoughts as always for our beloved Rick❤️💐💕

I'm so happy for the band and the album. When Rick passed away, for me it was nearly the end of the world = end of the Quo. Fortunately Leon and Richie brought new energy and spirit to the band and if you go to gig, you can see all five members realy enjoying their thing. All is about music and I really appreciate the Quo is not over. Quality of gigs is sitll very high. I know there are lot of guys, whose'll be telling I'm just too young idiot, who didn't live in Frantic Four times and don't know what is talking about, but what we can see now is a band how it should seen. Five different men working together and make fun for themselves and their fans and really enjoying it together. I'm so happy I can growing with Quo all my life. Last thing is just hoping, they make just a few another years. I will be more happy. Thank you for my lifetime musicbackground and Long Live Quo!
Yes! Carry on and on! The album really sounds fresh and has that typical Quo Sound. But it could sound a bit harder.(like "Heavy Traffic") I'm glad that Quo is still here with me and is still sending lifesigns. We all now that nothing compares to Rick and we all miss him. But Ritchie does a good job and fits into the band quite well. There is a new band spirit, they all have fun together. Noticable when being on stage. I'm really looking foward to the new album - released on my birthday!🤘 On we go with Status Quo! There's no life without Quo! P.S.: Could anyone please write down what Francis says? @@rickyboy591, yes I'm an old fan too! ^^ I heard the first single in 1976 "Wild Side of Life" and then I bought my first album "Rocking all over the World" on MC! Since that time I'm Quo-Fan! I also visited a lot of concerts in Germany and was impressed of the perfect Liveperformance of Quo!
It's nice to see Status Quo the band again and not just a travelling juke box. These guys have a lot to give and their energy/personality have really made the band's music fresh again. It's sad to see Francis get choked up about Rick, I bet that'll amuse a certain group of fans. I hope these guys push on until they can't. There's no rock n roll without the Quo.
It’s so refreshing to see the whole band interviewed and giving their thoughts. For so many years Quo was the Francis & Rick show... that was great, but it’s a treat to see Andrew, Rhino, Leon and Richie all up front.
That sounds like a great Quo album and it will definitely be mine come the 6th. So pleased that they are still releasing albums in the digital age. I thought Quid Quo Pro was a real return to form and Backbone sounds even better.
I've been a fan of Status Quo since 1983 and have all the back catalogue. I think Rick Parfitt is/was a legend and the band itself look like they are having fun on stage with the fans. It seems that all the British rock/metal bands seem to have fun being on stage where other bands just play their sets and leave. Anyway I still love them and have ordered the album already.
I think it's fantastic that they are still making good music, first saw them at the Marquee club in London in 1968 and many times since, the new stuff sounds great !

I had a bit of a laugh to myself when Francis mentioned that he and Rhino write well together but not in the same room. I laughed because for some odd reason it made me think of Elton John and his longstanding writing partner Bernie Taupin because they dont write together either. I need to get out in the fresh air more I think lol
I was Quo fan for 30 years, seen them live about 18 times. Now I can’t watch or listen to anything since Rick died. Rossi couldn’t give a toss, all he’s bothered about is money. I saw Ritchie in Leeds after Rick died. I was appalled how Ritchie was trying to be like Rick, like an actor replacing another to fill the same roll. He should be himself, he’s not Rick, he’ll never be as good as Rick. For me........... No Rick Parfitt....... no Status Quo.

My only issue with this version of the band is Rhino and his singing ability. Please stop this because he is not a very good singer. Stick to bass.
