Thank you, Sunday. Many of the current footballers are products of the contemporary dysfunctional society at home. Poor value training, poor education, poor upbringing. Oliseh, like Adokie, Odegbami and many others back then, had proper education (MBHS, CMS, Finbarrs, Igbobi - these were serious missionary schools with strong value orientation). The problem is within the larger society.

Where do i start from. I love the articulation, questions, the way Sunday Oliseh broke things down. Like you have always said, there seems to be discipline lacking in the way the SE is set up. I believe a lot of us act on emotions rather that facts that is why we keep expecting results in places we did not sow. I am a die hard SE fan however going to the world cup would take a miracle. I wish i could be proven wrong and eat my words but based on the facts on ground, we shall all watch this world cup from home. Thank you for this lovely interview. As for Odogwu, he should remember that as he is pointing fingers and ratting people out, his own turn will surely come.

I have met a lot of players & coaches, but i look forward to meeting him, Oliseh & Osaze my two faves & you can see why - they both smart.
When Mikel told that story of how Nigerian/African footballers deal with the stress of financial dependence...it broke me! Cause i couldn't understand what bigger joy there is than providing for your people especially when you can. Mikel cannot tell me he has never benefited from any of his extended family especially those doing well. We take care of each others...as Africans, that is what we do.
Class act from him, not responding to the Osimhen verbal diarrhea.

For now what you've said about Mikel is fake news and false information until proven.
Mikel seem to be a pain in the neck for you and Oliseh, the both of you can't hide your deep seated resentment for someone who for you he doesn't know you exist and for Oliseh he hasn't said anything about him. Desist from using Mikel as a bait to sale your podcast, you brought Siasia and ensured he had an opinion on Mikel but that didn't sale in a way you like now you've brought Oliseh again to also do same and further demonstrate his deep bile for Mikel.
Mikel doesn't need any unsolicited advise from Oliseh or anyone if he need professional advice he can pay for it and not from someone like Oliseh, Mikel is far more successful than Oliseh both in his playing days and after so take your unsolicited advice to where the sun doesn't shine.
Mikel talking about black tax on Rio's podcast doesn't concern you or Oliseh in anyway, how does that affect the both of you and when did he discuss Kanu in any derogatory manner.
Oliseh has a longtime dislike for Mikel and this is not surprising. You and Oliseh are not as intelligent as the both of you think you're. If Oliseh is that good as he claims why he is without a coaching job for years now smh.

@Ayphillydegreat... hahaha. PAUL ONOBI fled to oblivion after that game... so you think Mikel Obi as a captain who got benched for poor performance in a prior game against an African Minnow, you think that Mikel won't use influence to make sure that guy Paul Onobi never got another callup to the national team after Oliseh left? Go and watch the game that Paul Onobi played and benched Mikel Obi and tell us how far? Don't kill or badmouth a talent for God's grace... even @2019 Afcon Gernot Rohr discovered Mikel Obi's good days were behind him and he relegated him to bench spot. Oliseh has blasted open the truth by this interview... Mikel Obi with his white exotic wife... a man who loves snowflakes choose one different than his mother who birthed him... you will wonder why he has no respect for his family.

It was Oliseh that first insulted Mikel on your Podcast with Babayaro. Oliseh said Mikel has no attacking quality and is only useful defensively. So, why did you play Paul Onobi ahead of Mikel. Oliseh was clearly grudging Mikel because if Mikel scored one of the best goals of any super eagle in history against Uruguay by creating and scoring himself, please, ask Oliseh what was that, if not attacking. Mikel against Burkina faso threw a sweet pass to Brown Ideye who curled it superbly to Emenike 🎉.
Oliseh voiced his opinion and Mikel voiced his as well. Mikel has made countless passes to strikers that has resulted into goals. Mikel is also one of the best defensive midfielders Nigeria ever had. Oliseh was also good but you can't say such things publicly about a player because we all watch the same football. Oliseh should please tell us where is Paul Onobi or kindly compare Onobi's career to Mikel's career?

Kindly close your mouth. Oliseh is in his right to critique Mikel. Oliseh is an Olympic Gold winner, Nations Cup winner and Captain, World Cup goal scorer against a star studded Spain. Please go back and rewrite this thing again. Mikel was totally average when he played for the eagles.

Who was average in super eagles?
Some of you open your mouths to speak rubbish. If you don't like Mikel let us know, but don't ever say again that he was average when playing for Nigeria.
During his time in super eagles, Obi Mikel was one of our best players if not the best. Troost Ekong recently named Mikel as the best player he ever played with in super eagles.
Go and watch 2013 Afcon that Nigeria won under Keshi, Obi completely shut down the midfield.
No super eagles coach ever benched Mikel except Oliseh.

The feud between a player and a coach can only be resolved by the same player and coach.
Managing Big Players in any team is the biggest asset any coach can have. That’s what gets Carlo Ancellotti going. Even Jose Mourinho learnt that the hard way.
Oliseh in his days was a Big Player, Mikel was the Biggest in his era too. They all won us national trophies etc.
It’s not hard to see the clash was based on EGOs.
The blue litmus test is, no foreign coach ever complained of Mikel.
Let’s not throw a big player under the bus because of the words of another big player. Both players are LEGENDS.
Meanwhile, Oliseh too has learnt to be more verbally modest in his expressions lately. 👏🏻
