    The most important thing that I've learned in this video that really sink in,in my mind is about the elements of a research paper: In the elements of research paper there is four elements which is Review,Analysis, Argument and Essay.So in order to conduct a review this is commonly name as RRL (review related literature) in order to conduct that,you must conduct research and then summarize and paraphrase the findings.
    The another element is the Analysis, you can find this in structure of research paper and when we say analysis that means you are disecting it into its constituents part in order to inspect and comprehend.
    In Argument, your paper needs to support your stand on its issue and in the same way a lawyer uses the evidence to make their case and argumentatively research paper is analytical innature but of course in it's information used as evidence to support it's point.You can put your resources to back up the evidences that you have.
    And last,in Essay.Our thinking is the most important, because you are not writing your essay unless you write honestly and with the conviction that comes from your own thinking.An essays usually focuses on its single content question.
    And another this is about the 2 types of discourse
    It is Written and spoken communication,when you discuss something ,example to our classes everyday our conversation with our teachers and classmates in person or even in a chat platform like messenger, Instagram,Viber, WhatsApp, that is the example of discourse.Discourse can also be defined as when someone expressed their thoughts on its specific subject in orderly manner.It can either be through verbal or in writing.

    In terms of my significant takeaways from this topic, I gained some valuable knowledge that will undoubtedly benefit my development as a future educator. The first of my important conclusions is that an academic article must always follow a standard structure in order to be good, nice, and proper. The academic report must follow a proper and standard structure to be academically correct and well-written. Furthermore, it is necessary to give credit to other people's work by simply using the APA citation style. This will help all of us avoid plagiarism cases. Lastly, understanding and knowing when to employ and use different styles of speech or academic papers is helpful to us. In short, the proper structure and guidelines must be followed when writing an academic paper. Citing the authors for the academic paper is a must. And editing academic papers is good for a better outcome.

    First of all, I just want to thank and congratulate the instructor who carried out the discussion. The effort is well appreciated ma'am! I have obtained a lesson that I know may help me as a college student and aspiring future educator. After watching the video, realization hits me that developing communication skills among students is one of the major 'must' we should study for us to be able to achieve the academic success we always desire. At all levels of education, students must be able to communicate effectively.     Communication skills are vital for student's academic success and future career prospects. In today's challenging environment, students must not only possess academic expertise, but also the requisite skills to enhance their learning and employability prospects in the future.
    As a student i know that we all have different types of strength in terms of communication. There some who's better in the verbal communication and there also some were they can also express their self through nonverbal communication. That's why it is better to keep studying and to not stop researching more and more about how properly communicate well to any type of people. This subject wasn't just a simple subject to learn. And It can help us to be a good communicator in our future.

    After watching this video lesson I was able to know more about communication in academic purposes. My knowledge was refreshed and most importantly increased about academic papers, research paper, and discourse. Since it was already taught during senior high. For todays video lesson I think my major take away is that I was really enlightened on how to write proper citation. When I do reasearch papers this confused me a lot and I am happy that today I was able to know the different styles and will no longer doubt my self if I do it the right ways.     This video are very easy to understand , have good sounds quality and informative . As a student I encounter a lot of communication for academic purposes . For example , creating an essay and summary for activities . When I was grade 12 student our finals are based on research paper . So I have a few knoledge about how to create a research paper. This video help me to create a very effective research paper . I will try APA citation style to gather sources on trusted website . Also discuss the plagiarism which is copying without permission or ctto (credits to the owner ). When we create research paper or any academic paper ctto is not enough you should put the references of the sources.

    We all know that communication appears through different ways and purposes. In the video, it gives emphasize and focus about the communication for academic purposes. Since we are still studying and in the field of teaching I believe that it is highly significant for us to practice and learn about this type of communication. I think we can all collectively agree that when it comes to academic communication it does not only focuses on speaking effectively, but also focuses on writting appropriately. When Crafting an academic paper there are a lot of things to be considered and follow to avoid unethical actions such as plagiarism. Moreover, when writing an academic document, such as a research paper, analysis, or case study, the contents, arguments, and information must be organized and objective from the beginning to the end.     To summarize my takeaway from this class, it is critical to reference and credit sources whenever we produce a paper, as well as when conducting research or writing a report. To avoid plagiarized work and production, you must be accountable to cite. In our work, being accountable is a crucial aspect of academic communication. On the other side, I learnt how to write a research paper and the procedures involved in doing so, as well as how to conduct one. And, to properly highlight your main object, you should always ask yourself "what is the purpose or what is my purpose?" and dependent questions in a repeating manner.

    As a college student, I've learned that Academic communication is the entails formally and effectively presenting ideas in a scholastic environment and in academic paper it includes the academic assignment, case study, analysis, reports and analysis.
    In Research Writing, I've learned that there are four elements in research writing the review, analysis, argument and essay and also there are types of research the Quantitative Research and Qualitative Research.
    In Discourse, I've learned that discourse is written and spoken communication and there are types of discourse the paragraph, narration, description and exposition.
    In Writing process, prewriting is the outline and brainstorming and in writing stage it's put an idea into words or into paragraph and in post writing it editing happens.

When I was in Grade 11 I used to make a research paper with the guidance of my teachers, and then we are always been making some of our academic papers.     I learned that communication for academic purposes is really helpful for every student especially to those college student on how they do their academic papers, research paper and etc. Academic information is the way how the student grow and effectively used their ideas and work independently in school. Academic communication, academic paper, research paper, discourse and it's type is very needed to make our works better. In college we will be having a research paper and that is normal so this video is really helpful to make research paper more imformative and to understand it well without plagiarizing so reference is important when we get some information on internet when we do a related literature, methodology and other information that related on our topics, we can use APA or American Psychological Association so that we can avoid plagiarizing. There are many process when we a research and we all know that it is not easy but I know that those process is really important to make our papers better.     For me as a college student, based on video presentation or a discussion I've watched I learned how important it is to use the APA style to avoid plagiarism when we are making academic papers and research paper and etc. And when we are doing an academic papers we should always follow the steps given by our teacher to avoid any mistakes and we should always remember always put facts information with proper writing of citation or a APA style for our references.
    Using APA style of citation is one of the effective way for us to avoid any problem because we are always using internet to gather some information.     For this lesson I learned that plagiarism is copying or presenting someone's work as your own without their consent and it is one of the common problems that we are encountering most of the time especially in doing our research. But we have some ways to avoid plagiarism. By citing your sources, this includes the sources where in you get what your research and also you can paraphrase what your research, this means that you will make changes in some part of your research just to avoid plagiarism. But to avoid any concern it's better to make your own idea.

My come up idea in my mind is that it is very important to follow the structure of a concept by using the mind and backing up resources so that the research will be more effective or stable. Also, some examples of how to build communication and stand up for an opinion with a basis are explained here. Because of what maam taught I better understood that communication for academic purposes is very important in the aspect of learning.     As a student and future educator, I believe it is important to understand that citing and crediting the work of the author is required, and that the most recent type of APA citation should be used.
    It is critical to properly cite sources in order to avoid plagiarism in ones writing. Failure to properly cite sources may give the impression that the ideas, information, and phrasing you're using are your own, when they actually came from another author and it is considered as plagiarism.

As a college student who conducts extensive research, it is essential to always give credit to the author from whom you obtained the ideas. And this lecture covers proper citation methods, such as the APA style. We use this style not only to thank the author, but also to avoid being plagiarized.     There’s a stereotype towards Academic Writing circling in the society that labels it as a hindrance to students' dreams, in vernacular “Balakid Sa Pangarap”. Truthfully, most students such as myself shiver upon the mere sight of Thesis Paper Writing, Financial Analysis, Case study analysis, etc. Funny enough, It’s not even because it’s impossibly difficult to do, but since the society portrays it in “that” way, students, including yours-truly starts to develop a fear of writing challenging academic papers ( thesis, dissertation, etc.) without even actually trying to write one---that’s how a lot of “dumbbells”,”pabigat” or “pabuhat”, like me, are born.
    Thankfully, watching the discussion helped me refresh my knowledge on how to properly write an academic paper. We may be dumbbells in our research paper writing groups during high school but we will not stay dumbbells in college! #MayPagasaPa. Here are some of my key takeaways from the lecture, 1.) Writing an Academic Paper could be overwhelming at first, but there are steps that we could follow to make the process more simple. 2.) Learning how to properly cite references( APA citation style) is a must in order to avoid plagiarism(wag gaya-gaya bhie!) 3.) Revising and editing our academic papers is a very important process which is why procrastinating should be avoided so that we could have an ample amount of time to edit our work.
    Writing an academic paper can surely be challenging but as future educators, we must remember that mastering and learning these communication and writing skills is essential not just for ourselves but for our future students as well.

    The greatest take away from this lesson is that we should always be patient in making our own originl academic paper, we should always remember the different ways to make an outline first and always include references. Make sure that your paper has a good thesis statement that conclude 3 major parts the introduction, body and summary. It is very important to put the main thought of your reason and strong statement in rationale rather than just expressing your opinions. We should always check and list facts. Using APA will make the paper more formal. A pattern wherein you'll be able to put citation properly and appropriate.     In order to communicate our thoughts, opinions, and points of view as education students, we can borrow or obtain other people's ideas to strengthen our own and use them as the foundation for our own, but doing so without properly attributing them is plagiarism. This presentation enlightened us to improve our writing skills, work, and avoid plagiarism. This lesson is very useful now that most of us use the internet, we can get answers with a single click and then copy and paste them. It also covers how to properly cite sources to avoid plagiarism.It is acceptable to borrow ideas from others, but we must always credit the creator and remember to paraphrase. Always remember the verse in the bible which is the " thou shall not steal " if you're copying someone's idea and you're not having a credits on it, it is considered as stealing. Also the case about plagiarism, I've heard a lot of complains about plagiarism because of the act of stealing someone's work without giving credits.     As we are the researchers, we don't have enough knowledge or ideas to what we are going to write it. Let say that we have knowledge but I know that this is not enough to prove that this matter exists and it is not enough to finds the solution. A lot of process that we are going to do so. Copying someone's work without citing and paraphrasing is what you called plagiarism. As our teacher said, "You are putting yourself at risk", so be careful of what you do especially in academic writing. We should consider indicating citation (use APA STYLE) to avoid plagiarism. So I think I can finally say to my self that what Im doing in my academic paper is correct but I always forgot to include my references so like what you maam said how imporatant to cite references in academic paper because it is not my idea and that sources help me to back up to my topic and found out that my topic is existing so now I know that I will always include my references in my academic papers. Also I learned how taking notes is imporatant.

    Title
    It may seem silly to include the title as an important element, but it really is vital. Think about the books at libraries and bookstores. They are lined up in stacks on tables and shelves. There are so many. How do you decide which one to even consider? By its title. If one doesn't grab your attention, you skip it. So, take your title seriously. Even the title of a research paper. Essentially, it expresses the main idea of your paper.
    Abstract
    The abstract is a paragraph that briefly and succinctly summarizes your article. It should:
    affirm your objectives;
    explain how data was gathered, handled, and examined;
    condense your results; and,
    identify the main research deductions.
    Introduction
    The introduction states your thesis, rationalizes your work, and explains why it is relevant. This section is really the most important part of your paper as it directs its flow. Specifics are not required - that is for the body of the your paper. Just focus on making this part interesting.
    Literature review
    A literature review considers current published works that focus on the subject matter and evaluates what others have already done.
    Methods
    Illustrate how your research was carried out and provide detail about your techniques. They should be sharply detailed and rationalized. The reader should be able to clearly imagine and/or duplicate your methods themselves. Don't hesitate to waste paper - clarity and logic are crucial.
    Results
    Leaving out your personal opinion, detail your results but don't explain. Graphics and tables are recommended in order to help the reader visualize and understand your findings, but don't rely on the graphics and tables to do all the work.
    Discussion/conclusion
    Now, you get to talk about the results, the effects, and how it all relates to your thesis. You can relate your deductions to prior studies, provide suggestions and/or warnings, and outline and relate your interpretations.
    References/bibliography
    Your paper will not be thorough until you list your references. The bibliography is an alphabetized list of academic authorities. The easiest way to create a bibliography is to jot down the information concerning each original source, every time you use it. Just note the title, author, publication location, publisher, and publication date, and you'll have a complete list by the end of your paper.
    To summarize my learning from this class, we must always cite and credit sources whether we write a paper, perform research, or write a report. You must be accountable to cite in order to avoid plagiarized work and output. Being accountable is an important part of academic communication in our job. On the other hand, I learned how to write a research report as well as the methods involved in doing one. And, in order to correctly highlight your main object, you need constantly ask yourself "what is the purpose or what is my purpose?" and related questions.
