As a military combatives/street self defense instructor (ARCS Self Defense & Combatives) and as a law enforcement officer, I have to say that this is some good stuff and I'm not easily impressed by vary many of my "competitors". Much of this is the type of stuff I teach as well. Good stuff here guys!

Two fox's were talking about the best way of avoiding the hunt. One fox claimed to know many was to avoid the hunt, but the second fox only knew to run up a tree. At that moment the hunt came over the hill. The fox that only knew how to run up a tree did so. The second fox was torn to pieces by the hounds, whilst considering the best strategy.

I like TBs stuff. Makes logical sense.

Guy went WAY slower the second time (was no wind up at all the first time, but on the second he was still "winding" by the time the first would've already been bouncing off the target) but still good info.

this might sound pedantic but if you play the first attack (034) in slow mo and compare it to the second (154) one, Tony's partner moves significantly slower in the second case. It is that which allows the audience to detect the beginning of the attack and not the fact that Tony told them what to look for.

true, it's also why people who are just beginning their training are worse off than if they hadn't. They neglect their flinch response and try to make things a sparring match. Before I really learned anything, I always questioned what would happen if someone just "came out of a bag on you" because I came to realize how important those moments are when you're fighting in a 'telephone booth' (ie, no distance, immediate action)

Its true, but I think its just for the purpose of demonstration. They'd ben told what to look for the second time, but if he punched as fast as the first time they'd still be too late because its they're first time (presumably) looking for it. the first one was faster to prove the point that waiting for the actual punch is too late.

Simular concept like in Krav Maga even Wing Chun but WC is normaly trained more passiv while the original theory was also forward pressure.

After the flinch you need good skills to counter. Not all fights start like this, even friends fight. Some get into a fighting stance, now you need fight science to allow you to set the other guy up. Like a double jab into a front heel kick from the rear leg or maybe a kick to the leg into a judo sweep. This is an add on system to experienced martial artist like myself, can't just block all the time.

I am a fan but this looks like the block worked because the defender knew a right haymaker was coming.

Blauer is not a bullshitter, but I am a BIT disappointed that this small amount of "funny business" got shown or wasn't done correctly.
Again, I want to say that this is GOOD INFORMATION, poorly demonstrated. I'm not trying to be whiny I just wanted to point out what I saw.

Yeah, you know, I just discovered this guy today, and I've got to say there's some good advice here but a lot of bad too. Poorly demonstrated is probably the best way to describe it. A lot this guy's stuff seems like bad advice. Or at the very least it could be covered a little more traditionally. Basic observational and diffusion tactics as well as more traditional combat and self defense training could probably get the job done better.
