It was beautiful. I saw the whole story from the beginning nd i got to say it was magical nd beautiful. There were no words to express. It was completely mesmerising. Thank you for making this video it made my day
the most heartbreaking scenes are when lorelai and Luke saying go to hell and when Luke says to lorelai your the one who proposed I was crying in both scenes!
The thing I hate about lorelai in this season and the end of season 6 is that she acted as if Luke was never gonna marry her. And he said he was gonna. Some people stay engaged for a long long time and they do eventually get married. Lorelai kinda assumes he wasn't getting married and just dumped him. On top of that she avoided him for a few days and she didn't really tell Luke how she felt about being excluded from April. Then there's the "I don't wanna talk about it " thing lorelai and rory both do. You can just avoid what you did. 2:48 who says he didn't really wanna get married, maybe not now, but he also didn't wanna lose lor and that what irritated me so much
I think the fault lies with both Luke and Lorelai for not communicating properly. Luke did start shutting Lorelai out because of April and it was unreasonable and unfair considering that they were engaged. Lorelai had every right to be bothered by it, but she shouldn't have waited so long to confront him about it and she shouldn't have had the conversation while she was so high on her emotions. She should've given herself a moment to really think about what she wanted to say. And then running off to Christopher immediately after was such a BIG no, no.
Yes!!! She should have told Luke that she was hurting for the April situation. Yes, Luke made a HUGE mistake when he didn’t tell her about April and wasn’t behaving well when he excluded Lorelai (totally out of character though). But if Lorelai had told him she was hurting, Luke would have for sure opened his eyes like he did after the ultimatum, really reflected about the problem and realised that Lorelai was his priority. I guess he was really confused about having a secret child and didn’t know what to do. Lorelai shouldn’t have slept with Christopher, and married him.. that was awful.
AMEN!!!!! she was absolutely ridiculous about this. I mean he should have told her about April sooner, that I will say, but her having issues and saying nothing until the last moment and then exploding on him was completely unfair.
I think the Break-up of Luke and Lorelai is neithers fault. Not Chris, not April. The whole 6th season/and end of the 5th just felt like ASP and DP already knew that they would leave and had to drive Gilmore Girls against the wall. DSR had surely not the easiest and best job in taken the pieces, make them work and try to fix it.
musicseriengirl what's up with the abbreviations man? haha but I kind of get what your saying. I guess nobody cares about Rory and Logan breaking up or what? haha
Everything about the conflict between Luke and Lorelai during season seven was so forced. The relationship was going too smoothly and it just felt like the writers needed some sort of conflict to cause some tension between them. So they created April, aka the plot device, to form another wedge between them. April was used to show that Luke still had some barriers that he hadn’t broken down and once again Lorelai had to find some reason as to why an amazing guy is not the one. SMH I still love the show as a whole and I even think it ended on an okay note (The original series that is not the revival). Some of the last episodes before the finale were just kind of hard to watch.
I don't care what people say, lorelai was treated really badly: ie taken for granted by Luke through seaosn 6, not being told about the existence of a child of the man you're in love with and are going to marry? Having to postpone the long time awaited wedding because of it- without any proper reason, wedding cancelled because of issedue with new kid but fiance NEVER discusses shares or asks for advice from the supposed love of his life about those issues? And the guy not wanting to commit to a girl he'd been Pershing for ages? She took it pretty well, if I was in her position I wouldn't be back with him in another season, not without him amturely admiring and regretting the distance he created
I'm angry that Chris and Lorelai slept together when she went to his house after breaking up with Luke. Chris could have stopped her from making that mistake, but he didn't because he thought they belonged "together." I'm wondering if he even questioned whether she was still in a relationship with Luke before sleeping with her. Why can't Chris talk with her whenever she comes to him without agreeing to sleep with her. Why can't they talk without strings attached? This is what always ruins everything😑
He would have done anything to make her happy, but you're right. It wasn't time. Some things just take longer. In time, I think it would have happened.
this video just reminds me why I watched like only 20% of season 7 and cringe at the rest, while I have re-watched the rest of the series at least 8-10 times. Ouch. I want to blame the lack of ASP for turning Luke into such a stone cold ass, but I mean....season 6 did set all of this up and she was involved in that season ....
All this was necessary to kill off Chris once and for all. S7 is a decent attempt at fixing all the problems from s6 and towards the end finally found the old GG again. Look at the sequel, it's so forgettable I can't remember much that happened.
When rory started getting mad at lorelai (not in this vid), i was actually kinda mad at rory, cuz when rory broke up with dean the first time she didnt wanna talk about it untill lorelai forced her to tell her what happened, and then she also slept with dean when he was married, she kissed jess (ik this kinda doesnt count cuz she didnt exactly wanna do it, she wanted to cheat on logan the way he did to her but he didnt exactly cheat on her either… idk just a lot of the time rory does something she doesnt exactly handle it the best way but most tumes lorelai reacted good, she doesnt start to freak out and make a fight out of it… this is just my opinion after watching this for the second time, dont hate on me, i love the show i was just thinking about this when rory started going off on lorelai
thanks for posting all these moments but i would have chosen another song for that vid. I don't like the one you choose it's not epic enough or enough romantic or....I think it doesn't fit here, but other than that, thank you for the vid
OK, I'm sorry, I didn't intend to make this comment in every video, but some of the ommisions are baffling. Why wouldn't you include when Luke says something like, "It's like my life isn't even real unless I'm sharing it with you" when he wants to elope??? That is one of the sweetest things ever! I'm sorry, I feel bad bringing this up because the videos are very good, but I just don't get it?
Yeah ok. It fixed the messes from s6 and gave a happy ending, ending Chris along the way. Did the sequel have anything like Lorelai's character reference, her karaoke, Luke's surprise party? I think not.
This is when Gilmore has went downhill Lorelei with a hypocrite when she wasn't talking to her daughter she wanted to put the wedding on hold but when Luke found out about his daughter he just wanted to build a relationship
I'm sorry but I blame april for Luke and Lorelei's engagement, and the writer for putting her on her breaking them up. I have season 3-6 and I'm already mad cause I bought these seasons and while I'm watching season 6 line 3 of my discs was scratched so from the part where Lorelei found out until like the next to the last episode on 6 season got scratched and I kind of missed some episodes ugh. Have anybody watched the new ones on Netflix yet? You'll know they don't put like 4 extra episodes on Netflix right?, but they don't come out until November of this year. Christopher is ok with me, but I want her with Luke though😞😣
I think both are wrong, even if I'm more on Lorelai's side. She made Luke wait to decide the date of the wedding for Rory, and now she should understand why he has delayed the date. But Luke was not sincere with her and pushed her away, cutting her out, never talking about the wedding. The ultimatum was just a way to test Luke, but she knew she couldn't accept to force a man to marry her.
I read somewhere that it's the tension in relationships that keeps it going. Couples often challenge each other if they are feeling a bit insecure. Obviously this tension can't be too serious. Just a little shake up from time to time. I think the tension in this show is good as it keeps you in there wondering which way it will go. I personally loved the whole series except A Year in the Life. It didn't have the same magic.
I think Season 7 was a good way to end the series. Amy should have picked up where Season 7 left off, done a 2 hour movie to wrap up GG, cause the revival was so so. Let Luke and Lorelia had their wedding, Rory could have thought she was pregnant , but turned she wasn't, she ends up taking over and eventually owning the Star Gazette, meets somebody new. I didn't like the April/Anna storyline for Season 7, it brought nothing really to the series. I do think Lorelia and Christopher getting married/divorced, realizing they are better as friends, it kinda brought closure for them after all these years. Lorelia will always love Christopher, her first love, Rory's father, but she's in love with Luke.
I’m just going to say this WHAT WAS THE POINT OF APRIL I mean they just got back together after that horrible Emily crap they were finally happy I’m just like WTF writes Ok rant over
Lorelei was so flip floppy with men . It was really bad. She always get closed off when it gets serious. Be honest with people at first let them know what your intentions are.
Luke and Lorelai are stupid. They were bad at communicating with each other. That's why they broke up. Anna also contributed to their breakup. When Anna said that Lorelai shouldn't get involved with April because she and Luke might breakup, I was angry and felt like punching her. April will get more hurt in the outside world than Lorelai being involved in her life would hurt her. April has to grow up sometime, I understand that Anna wants to protect her daughter. But, I felt like her justification was awful and her opinions affected Luke, which made things weirder between Luke and Lorelai. This made Lorelai feel left out of Luke's new life and that resulted in her breaking up with Luke. Also, Christopher was Lorelai's rebound from Luke. I'm surprised Chris did not feel the same. She literally came out of a relationship with Luke where she was engaged and jumped right into a relationship with Chris. She didn't even morn She and Luke's relationship.
The seventh season is the worst. It never exist to me. Sixth one should be the last one. It was obvious that she is pragnant and Luke bought the house, so... Happy Ending, bitches.
Such a dumb idea. Did you see the sequel, which was ASP's rewrite of season 7? GG was all just a fantasy, made up by a screwed up kid with a dead end in everything. Lorelai's character reference, the serenade, the going away party, even the beginning driving a nail through the heart of any Lorelai/Chris relationship. Season 7 is much better than ASP loyalists give it credit for.
I think the saddest thing about the whole situation about her telling him she slept with Christopher was she couldn't even look him in the eye when she told him she was looking down at the ground so she wouldn't see the pain she caused him.
Lorelai's character reference, the serenade, the going away party, even the beginning driving a nail through the heart of any Lorelai/Chris relationship. Season 7 is much better than ASP loyalists give it credit for. Look at the sequel, so boring and depressing.

I’m sorry but this is low key one of my favorite scenes 2:04
the music ruins it a little
It was beautiful. I saw the whole story from the beginning nd i got to say it was magical nd beautiful. There were no words to express. It was completely mesmerising. Thank you for making this video it made my day
I have been wanting Luke and Lorelei to get married for a long time
the most heartbreaking scenes are when lorelai and Luke saying go to hell and when Luke says to lorelai your the one who proposed I was crying in both scenes!
This show was just so great. I wish I could forget it so that I can watch this show again.
I guess nobody cares about Rory and Logan breaking up or what? haha
She never deserved Luke
For no other couple I was so sad, knowing that it wouldn't work...And I knew exactly it was not possible...
Whatever. Season 6 was the one that blew up every major character. You're just too much of an ASP loyalist to see what happened.
“I got tired of waiting for him” he literally waited on her when she dated hella dudes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
it’s so sad that after lorelai told him that she slept with christopher he stopped wearing the blue hate she gave him 😭
Did you HAVE TO add the music to it?
ALL THE FEELS! I JUST CAN'T. omg crying now. I MISS THIS SHOW. I HATE CHRIS! HE IS A RUINER
If you only knew me. I cried like a 13 year old girl. But at this point in my life. I don’t care who knows it
Oh my god
I cried
I just cant believe they broke up!
I just wish that April didn't come
'cause them they would not postpone the wedding😢😢😢
Maui Chicks well remember Lorelei wanted to wait until her and Rory made our right with each other before they got married at first?
3:33 what a jerk!! But i love him 3
piano music in background sounds like nirvana my girl
sounds great
i love lorelai but... when she said “god i waited” i think it’s kinda stupid bc like waited for like 8 years!
I hope they do start filming....the Gilmour girls again soon.
I wish Luke and lauralie would...
Get married for real..
And stay together and stay happy 😊 😃
please say they get back together. and who tf is alril
not right for each other my butt...
Mary Andersen haha
thanks for posting all these moments but i would have chosen another song for that vid. I don't like the one you choose it's not epic enough or enough romantic or....I think it doesn't fit here, but other than that, thank you for the vid
joually only on certain parts the song didn't fit, but other then that it was ok.
Luke is so handsome
The smile at 4:29 didn’t seem very genuine
OK, I'm sorry, I didn't intend to make this comment in every video, but some of the ommisions are baffling. Why wouldn't you include when Luke says something like, "It's like my life isn't even real unless I'm sharing it with you" when he wants to elope??? That is one of the sweetest things ever!
I'm sorry, I feel bad bringing this up because the videos are very good, but I just don't get it?
This video reminds me of why S7 was such a pile of crap. Love the rest of the show though!
Yeah ok. It fixed the messes from s6 and gave a happy ending, ending Chris along the way. Did the sequel have anything like Lorelai's character reference, her karaoke, Luke's surprise party? I think not.
the most touching love story I have ever seen.
Christopher is ok with me, but I want her with Luke though😞😣
it's in the information
que romanticos y lindos son....
Ever time she fights with her mum she runs to Luke and if Luke doesn't do what she wants than she runs to Chris
I’m just going to say this WHAT WAS THE POINT OF APRIL I mean they just got back together after that horrible Emily crap they were finally happy I’m just like WTF writes
Ok rant over
I don't really hate April... Lorelai would be happy to know about her, but not after 2 months!!!!!!!! What a jerk... an adorable jerk...
Biggest lie is that they aren't right for each other. They are perfect for each other
THIS CANT BE REAL PLZ DONT TELL ME THIS IS REAL
Nice
I wish, they would start filming....the Gilmore girls again soon
Luke was always very stupid in the relationship with lorelay never put her in first place even tough He love her
Lorelei was so flip floppy with men . It was really bad. She always get closed off when it gets serious. Be honest with people at first let them know what your intentions are.
Exactly...my words...
Season 7 was just not the same
I think the saddest thing about the whole situation about her telling him she slept with Christopher was she couldn't even look him in the eye when she told him she was looking down at the ground so she wouldn't see the pain she caused him.
She wants to much from him
Season 7 was so bad. The whole April storyline too was such crap. And then to have them not even properly married 10+ years later in the revival?
This whole season is so clearly different. I've barely watched any of it. Blegh
Lorelai's character reference, the serenade, the going away party, even the beginning driving a nail through the heart of any Lorelai/Chris relationship. Season 7 is much better than ASP loyalists give it credit for. Look at the sequel, so boring and depressing.
Poor luke lorelai cheating on him she's so childish
Luke & Lorelai have had some really sad hurtful times, bad breakups, but they are meant to be together. And if we could of had just another season, or a movie, we could of see them finally get married and live happily ever after, the way it should of ended...
it happens!
*could've, should've
