I’ve never been able to finger coil with a comb but maybe it’s bc I never used a comb like that, that gets small at the end. Came out nice

how do you retwist if you want to turn these into locs? do we comb them out after three weeks and do it again or just kinda tighten up the coils?
They are often used as a starter loc method.

I'm 10 years old and I'm gon grow my hair out to get comb coil locs. I'm going to grow my hair out 2 inches or 3 inches.
Would you recommend this hairstyle for someone who is very active in the gym and who does intense cardio as well?
That depends on if you’re a person who profusely sweats. Sweating can definitely make the coils frizzy

i would say about 2 inches
Do finger coils come out the same as comb
In my opinion, comb coils gives you a cleaner look. Finger coils tends to have the roots more puffy and I get a tighter coil with the comb.

instead of the sculpting foam could i just use mousse?
I believe mousse may be too heavy, but i would say, try it on a small piece of hair and see if it works!! Please let me know what happens! 🥰

These are actually called comb coils. Finger coils are done using your fingers. They look really good.
