Thanks for the review. My B&O earbuds are an identical design. The braided cord will tear after time. But great to know the battery life as I am looking forward a replacement pair and the B&O when new were 5 hours.
Audio guy here. If you don't want to stump up for the Jaybirds, the Creative Outlier Sport have 11hrs battery life, microphone and driver quality is great for the price, and also have the magnetised backs.
I found the aftershockz worked well for commuting and endurance rides (podcasts etc) but very hard to hear if doing efforts or going fast. I snapped them once they were out of warranty 🤷♂️. Been using airpod pros since but the wind noise isn’t great
Years ago, when these type of headphones first came out, I tried wireless headphones for my gym workouts. They were top quality and cost over $100.00. But when I moved around (walking, shifting), the air interference with the signal from my phone was unbearable. I returned them. Did you have any interference with the signal as you rode your bike?
i have a pair of jaybird x3's i bought years ago and i didn't really like how they fit in my ears. I'm going to look into these tarah pro's but it seems like jaybird no longer makes them.
What is the sound quality like on these? I’ve tried several Bluetooth earphones, all pretty pricey and with good reviews and just found they completely lack bass/bottom end compared to even cheap wired earphones - is that the case with these too would you say??
Not illegal to ride with headphones. However, it IS illegal to ride without a bell on your bike. Non-bellers are the scum we should be concerned about.

Interesting they look good, I'll keep them in mind if mine go haywire. Thanks for the tip
Can’t seem to find these anywhere in Aus. Any suggestions?

Yep, discontinued.
My pair have survived going through the wash twice. Great headphones.

This Bluetooth is 5.0 ?
Nice purple Rapha jersey👍
I phone ones work well I think
Can confirm other headphones save 30w, more than an aero frame
I use Aftershox bone conduction so I am aware of other cyclists, cars etc. sound awesome for something which isn’t blocking your ear canal.
These are now discontinued by Jaybird.
yeh :( A shame, I left mine in my jersey pocket and they went through the washing machine and broke. Using a cheap pair now, nowhere near as good!
@@nerocoaching I bought the Bose Soundsport but the sound is too low compared to the Tarah Pros.
Don’t you think it’s dangerous to be wearing earphones when you’re riding a bike🧐
Done it nearly every day for the past 5 years, never had an issue. Will take them out on certain roads if I feel it's unsafe
You mean, headphones when training inside, as it is illegal to ride with headphones.
Not where I come from. Unenforceable anyway.
