    What an absolutely beautiful country. I've always known Mongolia to be so majestic, its culture so colorful and beautiful, and its people so beautifully hospitable. I hope to travel to this amazing country someday. Love from the United States!

    I just returned from Mongolia a few days ago and my life will never be the same. I've officially fallen for Mongolia and I loved every moment I was there. The people are among the kindest I've ever met. The food was good and my spirit was touched. I know I will return again. Maybe more than once.

    So beautiful and so proud being Mongolian but sometimes, I wish people would show the present Mongolia, like more about the city..As I watch videos about Mongol, usually they would show the countryside and by that, foreigners have this thought that Mongol is full of countrysides and all the people are like that..However, I am so proud of my country and people who those are really interested in making videos about Mongol, make sure show the capital city more and the new generation of us :)

    I view Mongolia very differently than other East Asian countries. Great Urban life, with great traditional Mongolian landscapes and homes. Very good looking people too.

    • @Todsor
      @Todsor 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Mongolians consider themselves as Central Asian since they are more related to Turkics than Han Chinese.

    • @you-cf7df
      @you-cf7df 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mongolia is so cool, it's a pity they will have the same fate of the Amerindians and Siberian tribes: Be annexed and killed by some western country.

    • @you-cf7df
      @you-cf7df 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Esujin Kuular Turkics are mixed with Caucasians, Mongolians and East Asians are different but they have common origin. The difference that had to maintain the nomadic life due to the
      territory impossible of practicing agriculture at the time.

    • @Todsor
      @Todsor 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Charles Cirem Please, don't talk like you're an expert on this subject. Mongolia is more comparable to Finland than some tribes. East Asia and Mongolia don't share common origin. East Asian totem is a dragon, Central Asian and Mongolian totem is a wolf. Would you say Britons and Russians have common origin because some of them look alike?

    • @you-cf7df
      @you-cf7df 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Esujin Kuular
      Do you believe in creationism or what?
      Do you know what the Mongoloid race is?
      Would you rather live with your nomad tribe and have the same fate as the Amerindians or join an advanced civilization with whom you have something in common?
      Remember that Germanics were also a primitive tribe before stealing the Mediterranean civilization (whose race and culture was very different), but they knew they needed to join some civilization to evolve...

    I would love to camp out in this beautiful country and live like the nomads for a few years. I'm so tired of living in a city, hearing city noises and seeing city sights. I wish I could spend a whole day lying down on one of those feilds and watching that big blue sky.

      ***** Why linking this video with China? This is Outer Mongolia. It got nothing to do with China! China has never owned Mongolia. It's ruled by Manchu Qing Empire in 15th century. It however got its independence in 1921 after the Republic of China defeated the Manchu Empire! China only able to produce that much crap because countries like America let them!

    Thank you for this awesome, informative, and beautiful documentary. I have and always will be drawn to explore this region and its people in person! How strange -me a Canadian, born of ancestry in the Austrian Alps...with a gorgeous Korean grandson who could be a twin-like brother to one of those lovely Mongolian children. Wow, if ever we need to honour all our distant relatives, this video demonstrates how our incredible diversity, yet our relationships thru phenotypes and genotypes is to be respected.

    Refection on this documentary: Mongolians values respect among other and they have a lovely culture. The terrain is very vast with almost like a green oasis. Every part of the country has an unknown tourist attraction fill with a bonanza of adventures. The hills are greenish and some have desert color with them which sets the overall mood of the scenery itself. I love it how they manage to preserve their culture and mix it with the modern culture. It is very interesting that infrastructure of the buildings are unique in every way and they mixed it with modern infrastructure. They have unique way of carving geometric shapes as well. Overall, Mongolia is unique in every way intriguingly.

    Wonderful! I did know some facts about Mongolia and was interested to travel to Mongolia but watching this documentary brought Mongolia to the top of my travel list.
    The cities have many interesting and fun people and places, but there was no where to get away and enjoy the natural world.
    Different languages, different alphabets - there are bound to be 'compromises' with how different races speak and spell the names from history. It's not important, but what IS important is that the world is still remembering and interested in Mongolian history.

What i find difficult for me as Mongolian is that too many people and no place to feel nature all alone :) in Mongolia we have real freedom and this beautiful life together with nature. I'm so proud of being Mongolian and living in it. This video shows only countrysides of my country, that's not bad, but nowadays in the capital and in other cities of Mongolia we live in apartments, there are many department stores,many fabulous brands such as LV, Gucci, ZegnA, Burberry, lot of luxury clubs, restaurants, lounges, so in Mongolia you can try our traditional foods, live in gers, try on Mongolian clothes. ride horses and camels, also you can stay in a 5star hotel ;) WELCOME!

    I can at least partially relate to you, I didn't have the luck of growing up in a place surrounded by nature, but I always felt that there was nowhere to explore and be free in cities filled with concrete and people. The cities have many interesting and fun people and places, but there was no where to get away and enjoy the natural world, so I understand how you must be feeling.
    Good luck in your studies and have a safe trip back to your beautiful country!

    I don't understand all the hateful comments people post about this culture. And about the music, I think it's a matter of taste and spirituality. To me the throat songs sound powerful, peaceful and magical. Also I don't get the fact that 100 people disliked this documentary. Why hate a normal and informative documentary anyways? I really would like to know what was so bad about it so as to dislike it :)

    I would like to live in Mongolia, live in tents and what I love the most is their freedom, they have horses and ponies and riding on them through the steps. Even if it is very tough life, but I suppose they are happier than people in western world where it is everything just about money and we not free at all, just politician decide about our lives, it is not work, not money, nothing and so a lot of people have not a sense of life, because we are just puppets in this sick system

    I hope to write a comic some day. If they becomes possible, then I plan to include a female character who is from Mongolia, along with other characters from various countries. I feel we need more diversity in the media of the States, and this video was a huge help in teaching me. Thank you. =)

    Mongolia, the great mistery of Asia, beautiful and fascinating lands, I wished that GOD allows me to go to Mongolia before I leave. My chow-chow is originary from Mongolia, and he is smart, beautiful, good friend, everything good.

    Even though I think it is a very beautiful country and fully respect the history and culture of Mongolia, I am a Chinese American that heard of many bitter stories that Mongolians are very angry about ethnic Chinese for many different reasons. I hope that I can still enjoy the beautiful countryside of Mongolia...

    Very interesting - lots of historical info about Mongolia - good overview of the country. I would like to see a 2018 update. Some areas might not have changed but I wonder what impact technology has had on the culture and the country.
