5 day California Coast Road Trip - Day 1 // Santa Barbara - Lompoc - Solvang

- Join us on our 5 day drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco along the California Coast. On this trip, we really took our time to explore the Central Coast of California! We had a great time and did so much, but we still didn't see everything the California Coast has to offer!
After making our way through the busy traffic of LA, we stopped in Santa Barbara to take some photos, before heading the Lompoc California Flower fields. For our first night of the trip, we stayed in the Danish-inspired town of Solvang. If you ever want to experience a taste of Europe in California, this is it! Solvang has the best bakeries and the best wine, since it's in the Santa Ynez wine valley!

There are things we do not like about California--LAX, traffic, gas prices, BUT we also like a lot of things too and Solvang is definitely one of them. That sausage sampler looked so good!

If you think of going back they have an amazing golf course will not amazing just beautiful scenery
Visit the Carlsbad, Flower Fields in April and May, San Diego County.

That's Southern California - traffic, fights but it is so beautiful anyway :)

Next time you might want to visit the la purisima mission just outside of lompoc now that it's open

I didn't take into consideration either that Sundays would be so busy. We're hoping to drive up to Solvang next week. Hopefully it's not too too crowded.
It might be slightly better now that it's not peak summer. I just hadn't been out in months so i forgot all about days of the week haha
