The story of Eden, God's garden. God created Adam in His image and likeness, to be His son with the authority to rule the earth with God. The two "trees" in the garden, the "tree" of life is speaking of God, Adam could "eat" from that tree as much as he want. The other "tree" was what God warned Adam about, the "tree" of knowledge of *good and evil,* the tree that would bring death, speaking of the exact opposite of the first "tree", satan, created not only to be a choice for Adam but also a challenge or opposition... The other "tree" however deceived Adam, pretending to be good, when Adam believed the lie and chose to reject God's word (warning) he got separated from God (you can't eat from both trees), his spirit "died" (can not operate in the spirit realm anymore), got his mortal body (body of sin), lost his authority to rule (satan took that) and fallen into satan's bondage (satan now has a claim on him). As descendants of Adam, we are all born in this fallen state, born into bondage, living in satan's nature (definition of sin) which lead to death... In this fallen state, it is interesting to note that we can still choose good or we can choose evil but both are still "eating" from the wrong tree. There is only one way to get delivered from satan's bondage, getting our spirit resurrected which in turn restore our relationship with our Creator, allowing Him to change us back into His image and likeness, living in His nature and that is through His manifestation in flesh (representing fallen Adam) but without sin, when this sinless "man" died, (the opposite of Adam who sinned and brought death into the world) he destroyed satan's claim on man. This restore our authority to rule over the deceiver, the opposer, "eating" from the "tree" of life again....

For you, but not for the kid (yet). The kid needs to struggle through some of that learning process and figuring out how to process it on their own, to get the building blocks they need to understand life better and build on those skills to get to deeper mathematics like multiplication, calculus, etc Similarly perhaps, while God could easily remove all obstacles from our lives, part of our process to growth, independence, and maturity involves 'suffering' or working and struggling through life processes. Learning how to communicate. Learning how to forgive, to be a good friend, to do right and not evil. If we don't learn these things, we severely cap our capacity to grow and build on them and become more capable people.
@@truthfulpatriot9129 true, though that statement has many ppl wondering and trying to figure out exactly what it means. Aka there hasn't been a unified understanding of it there's the idea of salvation by grace through faith, though faith without works is dead and, even though there's a matter of working out your salvation, in what way are we to work? Is it just in growing as a person, or something else or more? Not fully sure, but I believe some of it pertains to morality and keeping oneself pure/holy unto God. While we may mess up at times, God's grace helps in those moments, but we shouldn't be actively participating in or practicing sin. Some of it may also pertain to doing good deeds or helping those in need
I love this guy. He's in an epic battle with The Almighty God to understand the LOGOS of everything, and he's continuously getting his ass handed to him. Someday, when he's had enough, he will give up and admit, "God, you were right all along", repent of his pride, and begin a new life IN Christ. It will truly be a good day, and I'm praying for him✌
The Almighty chooses who He Will, when He Will, for whatever reasons He Will, to do His Will. Not yours. Remember that Jesus healed people spiritually and physically. So: The religious leaders of that time: Who were waiting for, and looking for the Messiah, tortured and killed him. because he was a carpenter from Nazareth, and had long hair. They were looking for someone super special, someone more like themselves.
@@lightlayagajoie5739 That's an interesting thought. I've always thought about it like trying to put the genie back in the bottle, Or trying to close Pandora's Box. We will absolutely know at some point out of time.
Jesus did say hard things even for His own Disciples to Apprehend..But where there is a willingness first it is Acceptable even tho the substance is small..
You know what, the best way to Experience Christ is to have a close walk with Him ..It's not as complex as Ministers make out..Just a matter of getting real with Him .I see He has now given me More than just about All in His house... Paul said we're restricted by our own affections..I received it by Grace to share with as many as can receive it .
I've been following Jordan for several years now and it has been so awesome to watch him grow and evolve in his faith. Many times, intellectual types manage to reason their way OUT of believing in God. Jordan has had such profound experiences that it has literally forced his hand to believe. Truly incredible to watch. The line, "because I knew you could win" is more profound than most people realize. That's how God views us. Even in our broken, angry, ugly often misguided ways...he still believes in us.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 God made man to know and fellowship with him. We have rebelled against God like disobedient children. Parents continue to love their children in spite of the mistakes they make and the trouble they cause them. That is what "grace" is all about in the Bible. God provided a remedy for our rebellion in Jesus Christ. For those who trust Jesus Christ as full restitutions for their sins and disobedience, our relationship with God is restored and we can truly call him "Abba" ("Father"). God knows that we can never be perfect. He alone is perfectly "holy". That is why he will receive us in Jesus Christ who fulfilled the moral law perfectly for us. Christians are "accepted in the beloved" because they have connected with Jesus Christ by faith. The Christian life is a life of JOY (knowing that you are forgiven) not of torment over our inability to live up to God's standard of perfection. "Sanctification" is a continuous process whereby Christians progressively purify their lives after they have believed by the POWER of the Holy Spirit who now indwells them. Ephesians 1:5-7 "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" Ephesians 1:5-7 1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
I admire and adore the way this very very clever and high achieving academic of high repute openly reveals to us his struggles with his humanity, temptation, frailty and mortality. His struggle with the Logos and meaning helps us all to come to grips with the same issues. God bless him. Thank you for this helpful work.
1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a profit unto the nation's"
Love when Jordan opens up like this! I always had a saying to myself about why we’re here and all this confusion about evil being brought into the world. I think it’s about free will and also like Jordan was saying it’s a test. But god is so holy and perfect that God says I’m going to put you through cruel, unrelenting, and crazy world. Because if you can’t choose me (God) at your worst. Then how are you going to choose me(God) at your best? Because that’s what satan’s flaw was, he loved himself, his ego, his pride. And choose to stop being an angel and decided to become his own god.
I’m a 63 year old man from the uk . Because of Jordan I have just started understanding and learning about myself long way to go . But there’s now a hunger to learn and grow . Quiet amazing ! Thank you
I had a dream a few years ago that I was running through the court of the temple from Roman soldiers, I tripped and fell on my face. As I was trying to get back up I felt someone touch my shoulder. I turned to look, terrified it was a Roman about to run me through with a sword, but it was Jesus. He was reaching down to help me up and said "I'm here now".
@@bolihood indeed it was. What makes it more wonderful is that I had been studying eschatology, with the purpose of disproving preterism (aka: covenant eschatology). I prayed for God to give me guidance or reveal the truth to me and then I had that dream.
@@bolihood interesting. I don't know what that could mean for you, but to me the dream I had meant that preterism is the truth. The "end times" were during the Jewish/Roman war of 66-73AD that climaxed in the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70AD.
I love the thought, of being ultimately tested. Though I’m somewhat a procrastinator, to be perfect, and not in a general sense., But to be a perfect me, pleasing to Father, and then therefor existence.. I strongly need that.
the deep things of GOD! my life changed the moment I came to terms with the fact that GOD didn't destroy satan; he ALLOWS him to be the prince of the power of the air. THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD. realizing and accepting that fact; is half the battle.
Prior to our coming to earth life, I think God warned us all. He said that earth would be very hard, unfair, cruel, sad and sometimes barbaric. He asked us all individually if we thought we wanted to participate in this. And, knowing the challenges and the eventual rewards, everyone of us said, yes, I want to go... I want the chance to learn , to understand, to achieve, to progress and to become.
"I don't know what to make of that...." I appreciate the man's honesty. He is so erudite and eloquent - yet he refuses to baffle us with bullshit. I never used that term before - never. But it's out there now - and I'm not retracting it. I was looking for an earlier video where Dr. Peterson tells of his vision - wanted to share it with a friend. Of course, my assigned demon is making it hard for me to find that particular video. I used to call him my, "resident demon" - but that was a poor choice of words. He doesn't possess me, but he is a familiar companion that I have allowed to influence me for too long. I'll stop here, but let me say that when I first heard this vision and God's answer, it was a revelation for me. Thanks for sharing this version.
“I can’t put a lever underneath that argument…that’s what I am trying to do. I’m trying to break it.” (Not a perfect quote) @7:30. Genius! Now I understand what he means by beliefs are like tectonic plates to stand on. Such wisdom. I just want to dig into the Word deeper.

I would like to be more bold in my faith. I'm also aware that it's harder to come down from the mountains of self-righteousness than rise from your own hell.
There’s a good example of this here in 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 Paul’s got some amazing insight into what Mr Peterson’s talking about. Who is Paul? What’s his story? Hmmm look it up :-)
They ate the fruit of the tree of science of good and evil, it wasn’t an apple tree, and they sinned because they desired the same thing Satan did, to become like God. Death described in the scriptures according to how God thinks is not merely the physical death, however, the death God is addressing with Eve when instructing to not eat from the specific tree is the death that would occur between “them, Adam and Eve” in relation to God and their relationship (for lack of better word because this relationship packs a lot of weight in it and is much different than we think it is) through spiritual separation. And that’s exactly what happens, they ate the fruit and became separated from God. So in Genesis 3:22 -23. the scriptures explain why He kicked them out of the garden… it was so they would not eat from the tree of life and become eternally separated from God in Sin. In a nutshell this is the surface of what happened because there’s a lot more packed in these initial chapters.
Perhaps he protected us when he set the tree of life out of our reach. Can you imagine the horror of having these life draining struggles of the soul enduring for eternity? That sounds more like hell than heaven. And has anybody noticed that God never beat them over the head by telling them of the future horrors they opened up for their offspring? That is love in it's purest form I believe .
You cannot have good without evil in the same sense you cannot have day without night or negative without positive . It's not to say that you have to keep living in the dark but to learn how to rise above and appreciate the dark for making you that much stronger. These two forces are what make the miracle of life we are stronger together then apart in the same sense as our political system .
I hear that sentiment a lot. I would like to propose that you cannot have evil without good because evil is a deviation from what is good. However, good can exist without evil, and that happens when perfection is achieved, which is what heaven is; all evil has been removed and only good remains.
@@lowercasepeople49 good cannot exist without evil it's like a marriage. You cannot create without the mother and the father . The miracle is a blend of good and evil . Team work makes the dream work 😂
Evil is the absence of good as darkness is the absence of light. Evil cannot exist in the presence of good as darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Everything God created He declared good. He loves His creation enough to give it freedom to choose good or to reject it. That is the creation narrative in our scripture.
@@vincentcoppola9832 if god created everything then he created evil and at some point the evil can be good if you use it right . The same sense order can become rigid and break . Life is a balance too keep balance is to learn how to use evil and good for the greater good . Maybe this is what sacrifice is
If you live by his presence with him you can conquer the world be in his peace and everything will be given to you he wants what is the best for his children !
At 1st I did not define good and evil. I accepted the definition of The Bible. But as I grew and came into contact with evil, I recognized it by seeing the effects of certain deeds, on people's lives. So the product determines the seed. When we see a maple tree, we know the seed. So then I began to look for the signs of the seed. I didn't have look very hard. but as I got older and educated, it became difficult to spot. and Evil would make itself home in me. It's difficult to eradicate from one's life. it has so many faces. and often I allowed a little Evil in for something that I thought I had to have. Now it just shows up unannounced. I think it lives in my Garage, and just comes into the house occasionally for entertainment. I'm kidding, kind of. I believe that the physical realm and the spirit realm co-exist and that a part of us is always in the spirit realm. I think it's our mind. If we don't stay out of the shadows, we can take a hit. No one is exempt. It's seriously like the most complicated real time video game ever. And the Stakes are people's lives. including your own.
I just realized that I focused most of my time in my post on evil. GOOD takes so much more effort, but when you work hard at doing the right thing, for the right reason, for a long time, you build something magnificent. You can't see it, but you know it exists, because you put your heart and mind into it for years. The Power of GOOD is unequaled. I believe that the most powerful weapons on earth are forgiveness, Truth, and Mercy, or love. Not cliche love, sacrificial love. And The Truth is simply paramount to our existence. Without the truth, we couldn't even disagree. how boring. There is no reason to even communicate if there is no standard to oppose or defend. We would still be cavemen. And Mercy or love is self explanatory. Forgiveness is awesome. I Don't believe any of us are actually capable of it but that's actually not the point. As we strive to forgive we learn about the creator, and we become self reflective. I think because we are forced to admit to ourself that we are incapable of complete forgiveness. I'm not talking about your children. we all forgive them even when we shouldn't. So that's one of the things you can learn about the Highest. He wants to forgive us, for we are His Chidren. I believe that we are successful at forgiveness when we reach a point where we actually want to forgive. I seriously doubt that we're actually capable of doing it except for our own children. This is turning into a book. At least you don't ask complex questions. I'm too tired to integrate the two and answer properly. sorry. The good news is I will continue to consider it until I make peace with the question.
You believe. Test is OK & Testing Isn't good to many times. Do it all straight away with the thought that you know. Remember when your having fun someone is not. Truth is the way. Thank you Jordan. Good man.
Free will does not bring you through the flaming sword to the Tree of Life. The flaming sword keeps you from the way. You can't see The Tree of Life! Only when God makes you alive can you see. Praise Jesus, Michael Idarecis
It's showing the individual fight of god verus the devil. It's your duty to always keep Jesus in your heart and soul. We are the holy seat of God on earth. If even one negative thought pushes Him a little more out of his seat. He will not share his seat tells us. We have to remove all evil and negativity in all things including thoughts. Like I believe we were taught a thought is just as bad as doing. So with even the smallest sinful thought you give the thrown seat to the devil fully for that second cause if there is any negativity in there. The lord will be no where around it. Leaving yourself open.. As with you and everyone God Bless! Luke - the light or to enlighten.
This was my exact understanding of reality. A mechanic builds a race engine and says it's amazing and unbreakable. A listener says give me the keys to the car and il test to see if your claim is true. Well do you give over the keys or not? We're getting ragged on low oil at 9500rpm, but we're still here - Glory to God Almighty 🙌
Satan was the chief angel. He was the chore director. And he rebelled, and took one third of the angels with him. When he tempted Eve, in the garden, he was NOT a snake. He was the most beautiful creature, ever created. After the temptation of Eve and Adam, God cursed satan, to the form of a serpent. Maybe, if people would study the Bible a little, it wouldn’t be so confusing.

Rather than underlining it why not meat it with another word, "consept" that would solve said puzzle. Meat them in the middle rather than putting to an to together.
Ask Christians who know their stuff the answers to these questions like you would ask any expert in a given subject, then if the various answers don't satisfy then speculate. It's about obedience to God, like a computer is obedient to its electricity supply. Things work when you are obedient, they don't when you're not. That's the lesson. It is deeper than any of us ultimately understand but that's one aspect.
The trials, test, hardships and sufferings are trying to get you to denounce God. IF you don’t- you are faithful. Just like Job. Job prayed to, plead with, argued, begged, cried, and questioned, God, but he did not denounce God. He said, “ Your will, not mine.”
Blessed are those that have true faith.🙏 They tried to stop us speaking ( masks) they tried to stop us hearing ( churches closed) And they tried to stop us feeling ( social distancing) so thank you believers as now we can do those things. And of course our father God .🙏 Amen.
There is “to know” and “ to know” to know of something and to know by the experience A&E knew “of wrong” then they disobeyed and now the knew by the experience. A&E stopped trusting what they “knew of(what they had experienced) and now their birthright was broken. 100% Free will a choice by all of us, and since then the Creator has perused the creation, not violating our Free Will. The question is does the creation love the creator? If so then….
I don’t agree with all of Homie’s political believes but I gotta say I’m a recovering heroin addict and everything he says it’s pretty spot on boys you have to have faith you can’t do this alone doesn’t have to be God it doesn’t have to be Jesus you have your own personal relationship with your higher power and there’s so much man more to this earth there’s so much we’re missing right now and it’s so important to have someone like him speak to a young man
By eating the fruit and disobeying God so now he can't except you until you ask for forgiveness showing obedience just by you having faith that God sent his only Son to die for our sins that separated us from God because of evil. The Holy Spirit speaks directly to God for us once you're baptized.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God , eating of the tree of knowledge they became conscious , they could realize right from wrong , so they had fear and hid themselves. Before conscience, we would not understand very much at all. We would be like a lambs.
Duality is the nature of the earthbound human, the difficulty lies within the balance of the beam of truth..when it strikes you will you Waken?? Peeling away the unknowing is healing..all conditions youve been through ..they are all experiences ,, all cups, with lessons,,,,, .realizing the consciousness between the two energy fields is a unified choice.... that vast Kaleidescape of energetic frequency that we each may experience...and ultimately chose....
People experience the power of the Lord when they are at their weakest point. The Lord's strength is made perfect in our weakness. Many have heard the Lord speak to them in their body, but do not realize it is Him. But He longs to visit our house, & yet the house of the Lord is our body. If we see visions & dreams, it is after the spirit of the Lord has been poured out on us, & after angels like stars have entered into our mind as if it were a heaven. As it is written.
The last thing that you said describes what God wants. He wants you to know the power of good over evil. Most people go straight to the evil without thinking of the consequences. These people are snakes, never thinking of others and always thinking they can get away with evil as they defend hell.
To the question why put a flaming sword in front of the entrance of the garden of Eden to prevent us from eating of the tree of Life; because had we eaten from the tree of life then we would be forever stuck in our sinful nature. Yet now through the resurrection of Christ, and if we chose to accept his gift and offer to have him take our place for our punishment and God's judgement, in exchange we receive Christ righteousness and blessings and are saved from hell; we will be finally able to eat from the tree of Life that is in heaven. The Bible talks about this especially in Revelations 22
God said to Himself let Us make man in Our image and in Our likeness, it is not until they eat the fruit God says to Himself, now they are like Us knowing good from evil.
Hi Dr. Peterson, Some ideas drawn from the bible, if taken literally, are really problematic too (i.e., snakes, trees). Apart from that, why would you believe it is not a good idea to share your visions? I had an enlightenment a few years ago which finally settled my mind so that I could finally live happily. I began to speak of this to my mother and immediately, she stops me, and says, "You're not supposed to talk about details like that!" But, why not? ~Fey.
God is Love. I think what separates any of God's creations from God is our thoughts . We are what we think. I don't believe my teachers will punish or test me with anything they never taught me. We all have our own pictures of heaven
The reason why the cherib guarded the way to the tree of life with the flaming sword is because now that sin entered in and death through sin if they then was permitted to eat from the tree of life there would be no end to what we currently experience there would be evil and death for all eternity, but Christ came to make a way of atonement and to give redemption through his death and rising again those who hope in him may have eternal life and eat from the tree of life in the age to come.
In my way of thinking, Jordan must yet come to realize (in his Spiritual walk) that man *can NOT win* against Satan. That is why we (man) needs to be *saved* , by God, himself.
God gave us the possibility of Satan, in that possibility Satan is God's test for us. To show our capabilities. To show the truth of God's incredible, jaw dropping majesty. That's something he made turn so wretched and defiled, can raise up from the ashes and take new light by his side. It's about our relationship with God that he can show the best he has for us, in us. That's why the Bible/Torah basically are asking you, in less words, to completely give it all up to God. The majesty comes from him, nowhere else but him. Something so incredible should be shown for all to behold; not kept under a curtain. This is why the things we do matter greatly on the existential scale. Theoretically speaking after the crucifixion we are all on borrowed time, it was bought for us to have. We are so sensitive, perhaps that's why we are still here. This is the softest reality check we'll ever get; that this is easy and the really hard stuff is after here.
Peterson is not incorrect to use sin as a starting point for thinking about these things. C.S. Lewis once penned, “..human beings, all over the earth, have this curious idea that they ought to behave in a certain way, and cannot really get rid of it. Secondly, that they do not in fact behave that way. They know the Law of Nature; they break it. These facts are the foundation of all clear thinking about ourselves and the universe we live in.” However, I want to caution the reader to recognize what this really entails. Peterson is a smart man, and sometimes gives good insight, however a lot of the questions that were posed here are answered within scripture. It is important to listen to sound teaching from people, but wise also to compare what people say to Scripture. I constantly scrutinize my pastor 🙃 privately in my mind of course. The apostles Paul and Peter repeatedly speak of the benefits of suffering for doing good. In Romans 5 after making an extensive argument for being justified by faith in Christ (not our works) Paul says that “we boast in the hope and glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Would we be better without suffering and sin? YES, certainly! God created the world sinless and said that it was GOOD. Are we to glory in our shame, or the fact that we are wicked? By no means! It does no good to embrace our wickedness as if it were some sort of good thing that God created; He didn’t! But we are encouraged to take heart and hold fast in our suffering, because it produces perseverance, Godly character and hope! I would encourage everyone to be a student of the Bible and others who have been historically accepted by the Church as a whole; C.S. Lewis is fantastic with these questions. Saint Augustine is harder to read but also delves into difficult questions. And at the end of the day and before studying, ask God for guidance. Check out “Fighting for the Faith” on TH-cam!
You can know the answer to everyting but it's not about us. Though we are a crucial part of the picture the picture is much bigger than us. Keep searching but patienly wait until He opens your eyes.
How do you define good and evil? But in the life you live?
Evil is a voluntary Act of injury

Similarly perhaps, while God could easily remove all obstacles from our lives, part of our process to growth, independence, and maturity involves 'suffering' or working and struggling through life processes. Learning how to communicate. Learning how to forgive, to be a good friend, to do right and not evil. If we don't learn these things, we severely cap our capacity to grow and build on them and become more capable people.
@@timothyn4699 God says…”work out your salvation”
@@truthfulpatriot9129 true, though that statement has many ppl wondering and trying to figure out exactly what it means. Aka there hasn't been a unified understanding of it
there's the idea of salvation by grace through faith, though faith without works is dead
and, even though there's a matter of working out your salvation, in what way are we to work?
It will truly be a good day, and I'm praying for him✌
You are right How do you overcome the evil you find at a certain moment?
The Almighty chooses who He Will, when He Will, for whatever reasons He Will, to do His Will. Not yours.
Remember that Jesus healed people spiritually and physically. So: The religious leaders of that time: Who were waiting for, and looking for the Messiah, tortured and killed him.

Ahhh Jordan. I could listen to him discovering the love of God and Jesus all day. ❤️
Lol
Jordan's grifter script has evolved, that's for sure.
You are right.
Yes...
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God made man to know and fellowship with him.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"
Ephesians 1:5-7
1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
It seems that vision was prophetic. The rest of us can only imagine the enemies he has faced and battles he has won since this talk was given.
I admire and adore the way this very very clever and high achieving academic of high repute openly reveals to us his struggles with his humanity, temptation, frailty and mortality. His struggle with the Logos and meaning helps us all to come to grips with the same issues. God bless him. Thank you for this helpful work.

Without his vulnerability it could be empty words however Jordan's chosen to truly enrich his soul and inadvertently inspire the proud, I hope!
1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Thank you
Agree, once we come to know and experience the Father and the Son, our entire world turns upside down. 🤭 Btw, you're not an old man at 63.. Blessings!

The "end times" were during the Jewish/Roman war of 66-73AD that climaxed in the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70AD.

the deep things of GOD! my life changed the moment I came to terms with the fact that GOD didn't destroy satan; he ALLOWS him to be the prince of the power of the air.
God will never give you more than you can handle.
“Because I knew you’d win”
I shouted that out before Jordan said it.
Then wept when he did say it.

I had a similar experience sir. Thank you for sharing.
@@lowercasepeople49 perfection in the sense of acceptance of imperfection, the journey not the destination. 🤔😂

It's like how do you make violence good , well you use violence to protect and now it is good . Darkness is a necessary to life and everything is good it just depends on how you incorporate it. The same sense order can become rigid and break . Life is a balance too keep balance is to learn how to use evil and good for the greater good . Maybe this is what sacrifice is

Good man.

Is this what it’s like to “wrestle with God?” Jordan has wrestled with these ideas for a while, and I pray he finds what he needs.
Perfect!
God likes overcomers. Hard to do without something to overcome. The wind makers the tree stronger.
It's true in the way he says, AND it's true in many respects literally.
I believe that you are right that there is a testing, though God doesn't test. God gave us Jesus as a covering of our nakedness, our sinning nature.
Except Jesus never says that does he?
Satan was the chief angel. He was the chore director. And he rebelled, and took one third of the angels with him. When he tempted Eve, in the garden, he was NOT a snake. He was the most beautiful creature, ever created. After the temptation of Eve and Adam, God cursed satan, to the form of a serpent. Maybe, if people would study the Bible a little, it wouldn’t be so confusing.
I like the vision One word comes to mind purpose
God is all about love and forgiveness, and maybe also loyalty. The hardest thing to forgive your children for is lack of loyalty.

I prayed as did many others for the day Jordan would meet Jesus. To see it coming true brings joy to my heart. Now more than ever he needs our prayers
The trials, test, hardships and sufferings are trying to get you to denounce God. IF you don’t- you are faithful. Just like Job. Job prayed to, plead with, argued, begged, cried, and questioned, God, but he did not denounce God. He said, “ Your will, not mine.”

So good.👍🏻🇦🇺
Good and Evil have rules. The good of one is often the evil of another, and vice versa.

Wow!! From 6:00 I ask myself this all the time! What is the reason! Wow!

For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is through our Lord Jesus Christ
Another problem is that evil isn't a force or a thing it's a person it only exists within persons and one in particular
Broooooooooooooo just now seeing this
Good and evil. .What's the feed back facility s condition ?
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Isaiah 45:7 KJV
That was prior to influence of Zoroastrianism dualism during the diaspora
Peterson looks like he is still having the vision in the title screen.
Sin is missing the mark and evil is the absence of the good
In my way of thinking, Jordan must yet come to realize (in his Spiritual walk) that man *can NOT win* against Satan. That is why we (man) needs to be *saved* , by God, himself.
Where was this talk? Was it on his recent tour?
The bible says Satan wants us to believe he's God but the real God has much more powerful and loves us despite the possibility Satan created us
Look at the story of Job. Look at the convo between Satan and God prior to Job’s ordeal.

Adam and Eve became also because the infinite is terrifying to know how little you know about it.
These facts are the foundation of all clear thinking about ourselves and the universe we live in.”
However, I want to caution the reader to recognize what this really entails.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Would we be better without suffering and sin?
