Enjoyable and entertaining Brad .. thanks ... laughed at your reference to "that little tractor" that pulled out the D11 ... never thought of a quadtrac being a "little tractor" 😃😃😃
You blokes are some of the best dozer operators that I have seen on TH-cam. You both have great blade control and you rarely make a wasted move. Meaning keeping your movements to a limit and the amount of distance traveled to a minimum as well. Then you all start back blading. The bloke that showed me around a dozer told me that the engineers designed the blade so there are minimal ware parts. Cutting edges and corner tips. The rest of the blade is for long life use including the moldboard. When you are pushing the cutting edges are doing all the work. if you are back blading you are waring out the moldboard and the nuts holding the cutting edges on.. if you ware the nuts away when its time to change cutting edges and the nuts are worn away then you have to oxy the bolts off. If the nuts are intact then all you need is just a socket to undo the cutting edges. All so easy and cheaper. The same can be said for the Grader. The bloke that showed me around the Dozer was the best operator that I have ever seen in my 45 years in the earthmoving business'. He made no wasted movements and always used minimal distance traveled. Now I don't claim to be any where near as good as he was but I do know the major fundamentals. Please no back blading. Also never screw around on the spot when turning. That's the quickest way of waring out the grouser plates and bolts. Happy pushing blokes and keep up the good work.
Appreciate your comments! its funny how the backblading thing has stuck, we only do that on a rare occasion on small jobs that need a little tickle but I must of taken a lot of footage of it haha😄
@@thejacksonbrothers Yes it is funny how certain things stick out. Both Brad and Phil have the blade control not to ever have to back blade. Its all down to planning but yes you both rarely do it. Give the seat hours Matt would probably get to the same level. I have operated D11s and Komatsu 455s. Another old bloke told me years ago about pulling anything out of a bog. The most powerful way and the most smoothest way is to use hydraulics. I see so many people on excavator try to use the tracks and end up making a big mess. With hydraulics you get a smooth constant pull. I admire the way you all as a family work together and appreciate each others strengths..
@@rowdyoldson7232 thanks! The main reason back blading is handy sometimes is if it saves you from turning 180 degrees to get a bit of fill where you need it because as you would know it’s pretty messy turning those things in soft dirt haha😂😂
I caught the remark that you were praying for the right attitude. You are very wise indeed. I need to do that all the time or else bad thoughts seem to take control. ,We all need God's all powerful Grace.
Those big snatch ropes are great, amazing what you can do woth them, completely changed the machinery recovery, everything's alot easier and allt safer than using normal straps or cables
I enjoyed that Brad, getting that monster un-bogged was a feat. There is no doubt silt bars a trap for young players. Black soil is funny stuff alright, it is very hard on tyres but points and other ground engaging tools last forever unless it is very dry, then wear rates go right up. Jeff
Hello from Brisbane! It is good the channel has both Matt and yourself creating content. You seem to be a natural relaxed communicator and I'm sure the younger family members who choose to stay on the land and work with machines will be blessed with your tutelage.
That Quadtrack did well, probably the hardest it has ever pulled :D 3 tonne is probably being conservative for that dirt stuck to the blade, it's funny how big a loader bucket that would be, and it's just the leftovers that didn't fall off. Can't wait to see the end result on that waterway, she sure looked rough before you started.
Those D-11's are so large that sticking them in the bog is really quite worrisome!!!! You may need another one or TWO to get them out!!!!! The trick I think is once ya stop moving is to stop digging in until ya get assistance!!!! Good luck on your projects moving forward!!!!!
I drivin some dozers in my time Brad and Matt never d11 my sound i could listen to allday brilliant keep well all you Jackson family love your content 👍🏻👍🏻from Jerry in 🇬🇧 uk
When the springs start it is often a sign of drought. Also Brad keep an eye on those cap bolts as they can have a bad habit of working loose and either fall out or snap off inside the housing.
Brad, your getting to be as big a TH-cam tart, opps I mean star, as Matt. Can we expect to see a “ little “ quadtrac on the horizon for Jackson Bro’s ? That kitty purrs real nice😊
It’s a real bastard when the ground gives way underneath you Brad but like a champion you didn’t let it bother you “on camera anyway” well done mate cheers for now
Pretty impressive that quad r trac BRAD, nothing worse than being bogged. Also I don’t think anyone would begrudge you putting the camera down to be safe climbing on the D11 SAFELY mate. Always love your videos.
Good to see you got it out the old quad track saves the day they get a lot of power to the ground, we did a vehicle recovery course years ago and the pull force is never as much as you think, the rolling resistance to motion has a formula, that I forget but the guts of it is , you have to be in series trouble to require 20 tonne of pull to shift a 20 tonne truck .
My homeboy Larry and I are always getting our dozers stuck. We push mud and fill with an old International TD15 and pull it out with a D7F when it gets stuck. My most viewed video is when Larry got the D7 buried and the International couldn’t budge it. He had to get a huge recovery wrecker to pull on the stuck dozer while using the International as an anchor point for a multiplication sheave. It was hilarious AND it cost Larry a fortune. Anyway, we both feel your pain with the stuck dozer.
Hey Bred I think you are in some big trouble mate oh we’ll chit happens ,you will work it out ..Farming is a hard life 😃😃😃 it will be ok cheers 🙏💪😃👍🦘🇦🇺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Good on you mate for not letting the ego get in the way and showing getting bogged, the problem with the dozer is you can’t let some air out of the tyres to try and get some more traction. How about strapping the GoPro on and take us on the motorbike ride with you. Cheers.
I know this is probably a silly question, and tracks are not cheap. Don't know if it would help with the issue but have yall ever thought about going to the wider tracks for D11s?
I am an operator myself so I love watching all the sticky situations you get inn compared to my own!!! 😂😂
The one we’ve been waiting for a stuck D11 and getting yourself out Well done Brad

Thanks for the Tag-a-long with you Brad. You do an awesome job with Tiny 1.
The engine of this D11 sounds fab!
That was a great save, getting the D11 out of that soft ground with that strap, and soft shackle, a top effort by all involved.
The experienced operator knows when to stop before making matters worse.good job Brad.hang on to the long rope just in case.
Enjoyed that, Brad. Thanks for taking the time.
Thanks Brad, must be a bad feeling getting something that big bogged. Loved the description of "that little tractor"

Absolutely😁
Woo I'm amazed that came out like that , it nearly got out on its own

Great stuff Brad, enjoyed all you commentary and how you take it all in your stride, even a bogged dozer. Well done. My favourite channel.
Good stuff Brad😊😊

Sure tell Brad has great respect for this machine.
Excellent Brad, nice to see someone who enjoys what they do.
Shows how a momentary lack of recon can make the big guy sink.... great recovery and great work Brad!!!
That was a great recovery from the “little” quad track 👍🏻🏴

Great job driving the D11 Brad
Good job Brad , lot easier than digging the dozer out with a shovel 😂😂😂

Great recovery getting the D11 out guys
Never get tired of D11 content: thx
Brad is really doing a great job with the Videos. God Bless you all.
Bog it Brad!! 😂 nice job getting it out. Hopefully the nickname doesn't stick!!
This is only the beginning, stay tuned😂
I love hearing those turbos whistle.
Good afternoon from Texas, glad you got the kitty unstuck

Thanks for the explanation on the work you are doing. The D11 is one huge beast.... PS who needs Matt when Brad has it all under control
Thanks Brad ,great as always. Lucky with the 11 & enjoy your ride. 👍
Great video Brad

Brad you have turned into a professional You Tuber mate well done.👍
Oh and I enjoy your content. Good stuff.
I luv it when things get "a bit stuck"...........character building.....lol
Thank you for sharing all
Very satisfying to see that chunk of steel crawl up out of three hole.
Awesome guys.
Noticed the hat. Im just about to start at expressways 👍
good on you Brad, you do a good job of videoing.
You just went from #3 to #1 on my favorite Jackson brother list. Lets not try to do anything to lose that position.

Good one Brad, thanks for the entertainment!
Another awesome video
Loved it
I would not have believed you could be pulled out with that tractor unless you video it ,good work team
Me neither😁
Very good Video 👍 👍
Great job on the video.
How many cartons did you have buy Brad. Plenty I hope for the rest of the crew and the fella’s on the quad trac that pulled you out
Have you been able to get before and after drone photos, I think it would be very interesting?
Good job brad
Brad you need to get drone footage to give an overview to your explanation.
Here in the states we say just gotta send it lol
Good job mate

Good job getting it out What kind of system is that yellow box you use for leveling

G'day nice job 😅.
Hey Brad don’t sweat it 💩happens 😂 thanks for letting us see your 💩situation 👍👍👍👍
You crack me up every time you say ear.
I hope you’re supporting Paul Murray.Did you pull the toy out the bog with the TEA 20 ? Keep up the good work
I know this is probably a silly question, and tracks are not cheap. Don't know if it would help with the issue but have yall ever thought about going to the wider tracks for D11s?
Was a great day 😉
No Matt 🤷♂️ probably still on holidays has got holidays like a school teacher 😅
Why are the tracks so narrow on thatbig dozer?
Pulled it out easy. I notice you can’t see the bottom of the blade from the cabin, so how do you ever know how deep a cut you are taking ?
After a few hours you can feel it👍
Does the dozer control the blade level or are you chasing the lights
Not auto control unfortunately👍😁
if you had more patience, the summer sun will solve all your problems... looks like were in for a dry one
Good idea - leave the contract jobs until the people are needed for harvest, so you can't do the contract work. Or more likely not a good idea at all.
Your not of the land are you City dweller 🐵
It was spring fed so it would take a while to dry out👍
What horse power has prayer buddy !
I think the quadtrac was a 600 but not sure
Try retracting the rippers on the back next time.....
Haha we had a laugh wondering if anyone noticed them down at the start😂😂
Looks more like a D6 situation.
Cool
What size was the case
Not sure, be about 600 I think
WHAT ABOUT THE GROUSERS, MATE
😊 parked 🤐 ,
Whoops.
Wasn't bogged... Just securely parked.
Can you actually see the ground as you work
I think it’s more about feeling the ground😂😂
Put your dads wallet under the tracks, it will be high as a kite. 😂
Why so big of a dozer to do that job
When it's all you got it 🐵
@@monkeyonarock ah no worries then
Jobs take days not months👍 unless you get bogged a lot😂😂
