We were just on our way to the third bridge camp in Moremi National Park and we had to be home before dark....and yes of course a flat tire.....and yes of course next to the male lions eating a hippo. ....
I really wanted to be back in camp before dark and decided to change the tire, after all, the lions were more concerned with the hippo than with us.
Natalie went to keep an eye on the lions with her camera and I went to change the tire under light work pressure, which was not easy with a bottle jack in the loose sand and the lions next to us.
Of course everything ended well and the lions were indeed not interested in us, but it is not my hobby to change a tire in this way.
