Notice how the camo went from sand to brown earth dirt like camo. Because they are getting ready for trench warfare. This is more mud and dirt based than sand.
Nope. The colors are dulled from uniforms being dirty or worn. The US doesn't and hasn't done trench warfare since WW1. Russia and Ukraine are forced to because neither side is overwhelmingly more powerful than the other. The US military is specifically designed to never have this be the case, and there is no other military on Earth that can even slow the US down enough, let alone force the US into trench warfare. The US simply has way too much air and navy fire power for any other country except maybe China, if they fight only on their own home turf (unrealistic and even thats debatable) to slow down the US' mass advantage in air superiority and accurate firepower. This is by design, US military doctrine purposely relies on huge amounts of heavy but accurate air delivered fire power to destroy most of another country's military before US ground troops even make contact. Then it's just a mopping up operation- this is based on the common knowledge that engaging in a fair fight is stupid: always bring 3-5 times the firepower and troops of the enemy.
I applaud the willingness of young men to train as warriors and to grow themselves as better and stronger versions of themselves. But as an OIF Vet to these young men - fellas, don't let your youth and enthusiasm be exploited by politicians and corporations for another war that doesn't have anything to do with the country you signed up to defend. My war was built entirely on lies that exploited everything we were willing to give, and there's hundreds of thousands dead as a result. Don't walk into the same trap we did. Don't fall for the same lies. The only beneficiaries from war are the politicians who accumulate more power and the corporations who make the billions of supplying it. You'll be used up and discarded as mere tools, and forgotten about as soon as the manufactured fervor dies down.
So you applaud Russian imperialism. From Georgia, Chechnya to now Ukraine. Who will be next? Crazy madman Putin doesn't care about his people and about the rest of the world. He only wants back his Russian Empire.
This is a different time. Bush is gone and now we have real threats. You being lied to 20 years ago doesnt mean we shouldnt be preparing to defend ourselves. I notice you follow Russian aligned media as well, why dont you say the same for them? oh thats right, you support Russia
I can see how they are using lesson learned in Ukraine, I bet most AFVs like Bradley’s and M1s will end up being equipped with drone jammers and more APS systems in the near future.
Those guys are still using the older equipment witch comes in over 40 pounds in total for a combat load. The purpose of that kit you see here was focused on providing as much protection as possible against shrapnel from explosive ordinance or IEDs in the middle east. They are supposed to have 7 mags total, ifak, tourniquet, and an MRE or two that's been field stripped and tucked away as well as some type of water source. The rest is too long to list. The newer gear tackles the weight problem. Then some of these guys are also fat on top of that so that doesn't help their situation 😅
@KipKil1igan the option to wear them is there since they were issued them. No one wants to wear those extra bits because it's just more weight. The kit is called an IOTV if you want to look up their attachments.

It won't be trench warfare, not with mechanised forces and air support not for the u.s.a
And all the fire power god will bring
That’s their OCP uniform that the army and airforce wears, the tan sand color ACUs are no longer worn

Those are OCPs and they are just dirty because they've been out there training from a few days to maybe a month. The uniform hasn't changed.
Someone re-enlisted in the field. I did the same thing during a deployment.

Why do american soldiers always look like theyre so weighed down when they move but only carry like 4 mags?
They dont, combat load is 240 rnds when I was in but the main chest plate carrier holds 3, 120 with one in the gun. the rest in side pouches.
@elimtevir1 true. We ran 11 but didn't look like running in slow motion

@kavaldevereux3111 huh? They're not wearing groin protectors or neck and shoulder armour, they're just wearing plate carriers and a shooters belt tho
