Good morning, I am following along with the steps but I am trying to download the templet for Substance Painter you are talking about, but it looks like the discord is no longer available, I did find what it looks to be a website from them, but the template looks to be for giants 8 not 9. I also tried to install the template but substance can't see the files. any help would be greatly appreciated.
I noticed that even with the same tools, cntrl+u does not do anything. It does not bring up a list of Giant's UDIM materials. Is this perhaps version specific for Blender (does not work on 2.9 either)? I never could get that to work and I'm not sure what I'm missing.
Did you have the giants udim tool installed. It may be something I have turned on. Doesn't matter really you can just apply the uvs to the grid to match the material you want via the link in the description

I followed this really closely but my maps seemed to be misaligned in GE after exporting from Substance. Any idea why this might be? thanks for the video, I was so close to getting it 100%. Is there a discord where we can get some help with Substance workflow?

To export multiple mats you have to adjust the roughness and spec random and different for each one
Before export the shading is flat or smooth?

Possibly, the UVs changed. You may have mistakenly autounwrapped the model in substance. This changed the UVs.

Material Selector simply does not work, have tried to install multiple different ways and still does not show up in Blender.
