I bought these speakers about a year and a half ago. They're great. I've been interested in upping my headphone experience so I just bought a Fossi DAC-Q4. As an experiment, I plugged in the Z407's into the DAC amp via the aux cable. They sound even better/more detailed. I think these are great speakers for the price range and I don't see the need to upgrade for the forseeable future.
a question: the wireless control only works in bluetooth mode. If I connect it with the jack 3.5, for example, it doesn't raise or lower the volume. It just double beeps when I turn it. I don't understand if it's a defect or if the volume control only works in Bluetooth mode. ???
you have tried both z407 and z333, which has a better audio quality? this 2 models are my choices..i like the boxy form of the z333 its classic, but downside is cluttery wires, the z 407 has less wires and has bluetooth but more expensive
I reviewed the Z333 here: th-cam.com/video/zVW3KViF9no/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ya5a0s-9OjuSSiJc They are pretty similar in sound quality. The Z407 has inbuilt Bluetooth, whereas you would need an adaptor on the Z333. Thank you for watching
It is fine for movies, but it is only 2.1 so not really surround. Having said that, I prefer the Eris 4.5 which I reviewed earlier here: th-cam.com/video/SSfd4tnBll0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3tQ-g3XR0nU4MLpk They are on special offer today here: amzn.to/46lJHmu without Bluetooth or with Bluetooth here: amzn.to/3MOl36M
@@Boopolo Yeah I don't really need surround sound. Not for now at least. Ended up going with the edifier r1280dbs, because I read far too many negative things about the Z407 (a lot of people having issues) and all the audiophiles complaining the sound isn't that great. But initially I wanted to go with the creative pebbles plus, I just wanted a cheap set of monitor / desktop speakers. The eris were probably a tad too flat for me, I like some bass. The edifier also has bluetooth. Plus they have a subwoofer out Jack, so I can always upgrade the bookshelf studio monitors / speakers with a subwoofer. Of course the edifier sub is more expensive than the speakers themselves so at that point I might as well have bought even more expensive speakers. But I spend a fortune already this black friday One issue I have ane I mena this with no offense. Is that all three of those speakers seem to have countless reviews on TH-cam. But every single one of them is from people that got them free from the manufacturer. Which makes the videos feel like ads and doesn't instil confidence. I wish there was a site like rtings for studio monitors and speakers just like rtings works for tv's and monitors so there was a trusted review of them..
amazing review! Someone who measures the cables is gold. Thank you !
Glad it was helpful! For some people the cable length is important, and it is seldom given on the sales page. Thank you for watching
Keep doing this great job, this channel has to much potential
Thank you. It is my newest channel of 3. A lot of catching up to do though. Thank you for watching

Turn up the volume fully on the source, and then rotate the dial slowly. Thank you for watching
Thx for the video! Great job, but I really missed your opinion at the end of the film about this speakers.
Ha. The speakers are excellent for the price. Great for a bedroom or a student's room. Thank you for watching
If you were the option to pick between logitech Z407 and edifier mr4 which one would you pick?
I do not have the Edifier MR4 speakers so I cannot compare. Thank you for watching
is there a white noise problem when there is no audio?
None that I can detect. Thank you for watching

I think they both sound similar. The Bluetooth and Remote make the Z207 a better choice for most. Thank you for watching
How do these compare to the Z333?

I can't pick between the eris 3.5 and this one. I like bass but also heard the z407 isn't great for movies
