I always liked how cinematic this story felt. It feels like a mission impossible movie set in Thedas. Makes me want a MGS or Hitman-like game where you play as a crow 👁️👁️
It's bonkers to me that the guy in this short story is supposed to be the same guy from the game. The Lucanis in The Wig-maker Job and the Lucanis from the game are two completely different people with two totally different personalities. How do you go from being described as a serious, unattractive foil to your uber-horny, flirty, good-looking cousin Ilario, and then get turned into another hypersexualized Latin Lover Stereotype? I loved Tevinter Nights when it came out, but the characters who first appeared in the book are NOT the characters who were repurposed for the game. They feel like bad fanfic interpretations of better canon characters.
