So I discovered this channel a few hours ago, and I've been working through the content about as fast as linear time would allow. I feel robbed because I didn't discover this sooner and I feel like the world has been robbed because somehow this obviously talented individual didn't find more success doing this.

Euler Good question. I have a banjo pickup installed underneath the skin and bridge. You can see it at the end of the video when I lift my hand - it looks like a small black rectangle right above the bridge. The signal from that and the microphone go into my computer, so I just do post processing in Sonar. I just usually boost the low end around 120hz - just on the pickup track.

I did it by ear. I tuned the whole thing down to C, but I think they do drop C (basically drop d down one step all of the strings). Hope this helps!
