I do wish the scene was more about the motovlogs rather than the affiliate links... even though I am guilty of that. For me it was all about the community when I started doing it, but folk seem less interested in that now, or at least some of the newer folk. Always sad/a worry when you see accidents... It is the spring time over here where we seem to get the most from bikes, as they come out from winter hibernation thinking they can still ride at the same pace they were at the previous autumn, and cars being less used to looking for bikes through winter.
@@TheXTDonkey The sub 250g has lots more freedom and the video quality is not down too much. Mini 4 Pro is excellent. No matter what you buy you will love it.
@@TheXTDonkey Yes. You have to fly them 50mts away from people and buildings. The sub 250g drones can be flown over people but not crowds. There is no need for a test with sub 250g but you do have to register it. So much more freedom under 250g so it may be worth looking at them. If your budget stretches the DJI Mini 4 Pro is really excellent. Enjoy your shopping.
I do miss some of the meeting new people from my vlogging days. Unfortunatley, with having to play the TH-cam algorythm game in an oversaturated market made it not so fun. Also, when I rewatch some of my old videos (even the touring ones), I am just a really boring person.
I'm still watching motovloggers such as 44Teeth/Lambchops etc (& yourself)but many of the early subs I had,I still have though their channels have long since ceased uploading & those that have uploaded anything weren't to my tastes(such as several hours of gameplay)so I unsubbed. Several years have past since I rode the 750 mile round trip to Loomies, I've changed bikes 4-5 times(including having my MT-09 stolen & wheeled a few hundred yards away before being set alight) I now have an 2010 Honda CBF1000, no car so experiencing all weather riding meant I'd to buy new jacket/pants/boots. During the recent freeze, I was trapped at home as both ends of my road were covered in ice. Fortunately, the day I ran out of milk was also the same day the frost vanished. I've also ceased vlogging as the camera battery expired & I couldn't afford to replace it with a camera equipped with image stabilisation(the state our roads are, I doubt a cameras stabilisation would've coped😀 )& with only ever having 80 odd subs, my absence won't have affected any. I used to visit Hartside cafe almost every weekend, but that spontainiously caught fire whilst the road was closed to traffic due the snow so the only other biker haunt is a fair distance further & I didn't find it appealing when I visited it so haven't been back. Whilst I had the MT-09, I did visit many of my "want to go" list but since I got the CBF my partner has left so I live alone & was spending lots of time with my grandkids thus didn't really feel the need to go anywhere. All was great until wet leaves/mud dumped me on the road hard winding me & bruising my ribs a few months ago, so my only rides lately have been for shopping & I had to reduce my grandkids attendance here as I simply couldn't cope with them. The CBF also requires a bloody good service & new tyres but Xmas swallowed my cash so hopefully it'll now get done(tho not keen on doing this out on the roadside but as council installed nice new fences around everyones garden & because I'd not had a dropped kerb installed, they've fenced across my drive)
