Cruising with Celebrity was Eye opening to me. I've decided to look into more Celebrity cruises (and other lines) to see what it's like. What are your thoughts on Celebrity, let me know below!
How was sailing Celebrity Cruise Line compared to Royal Caribbean?
Lots of thoughts. I go back to the 1990s with this line. I don't know if you want to get me started, lol. Please, sail on a Solstice class ship. Don't worry about wear or tear on the ship or anything like that. to me, that's a Celebrity ship experience. Edge is Edge by Celebrity. The Beyond is an Edge class ship. Solstice is a Celebrity experience. There are big differences between that type of ship and this one even if a lot of the restaurants and some of the areas are the same.
Edit. I see you sailed on the Millennium. Maybe I even commented. I make long, long, comments. Sorry about that. I'll have to look over there and see if I did.
I'll be on the Beyond, same itinerary next March!

Great vlog review, thank you! We will be on Beyond for the first time in December. My husband and I have cruised 1-2 times/year for the last decade and have come to the conclusion that RC standard balcony is the best choice for the more economical trip (can't do interior as we spend a lot of time relaxing in the room - not bar or pool people, but reading and watching movie people), especially one where the destinations are more important than the ship, like the Greek Isles we did this year. For our annual relax and recharge vacation in the Caribbean (honestly, we don't even care where it goes), we've decided the retreat sky suite on Celebrity is the ticket. It's for sure a huge difference in price, but if you want the most perks for the added cost, this is a no-brainer - for luxury, convenience, and exclusive offerings, it's the most bang for your buck. Happy travels, I look forward to seeing more of yours!

Never met a cruise I didn’t like lol😂 Celebrity is my favorite cruise line out of the 4 I’ve enjoyed!
I sailed on Beyond in April. It was spectacular. Just an fyi, our sailing was pretty much full but still never had a problem finding a chair on the pool deck on sea days.
It was great meeting you on the Beyond!! It was our first Celebrity cruise as well, and we had a great time.

Sailed on that ship in late February, absolutely NO complaints, loved it. Don't usually do special dining but we ate at Eden and it was fabulous!!

Celebrity Horizon was my 1st adult cruise I 1992 with my bestie and it was amazing then. Could imagine these Edge class ships. Yessss. Mixology class and wine paring. The bartenders/mixologists at the 🍸 bar putting on a whole show. But seaweed can’t be controlled in the sea 🤷🏻♀️. Just cleaned off the sand. You and Rose tore up the chicken and fish on St Maarten 😂. Great Celebrity has recognized you. Perhaps a hosting in the future on the Ascent. Oh. A show during dinner like Disney. No bread? That definitely helps to fill us. Great food and drink 1/2 the trip. Thanks for sharing and see you next video.

We have taken many cruises on different lines and once we sailed celebrity that became our li e of choice hands down. Now we are exclusive to Celebrity.

Hey Lynn, yes there was a whole group meet up full of solo travelers =] sometimes* you can find them on Facebook groups for that sailing date.
Try pinning a post if admin will allow you on “where my solo travelers at” or “wanna meet up” (assuming that hasn’t been posted already) best of luck!

Michelin stars are weird; but in his lifetime Boulud has achieved more than 2 stars. As a former 20 year fine-dining "veteran" and sommelier, I had to do him some justice!!
I am personally very excited to one day take a cruise on this ship for this very reason, thank you for making this video!!! So many chefs around the world aspire to be as cool as him, and he's been a mentor to many, including Anthony Bordain and Eric Rupert.

@@GriffandAlyssa , You said the cost was 125.00 per person per day. Did it include the taxes and gratuities or was it the base cruise fare.
@@busymom7729 oh $125pp + taxes etc, ended up being around $1800 ish.That doesn't include my specialty dining I decided to add on btw!

No - Rose had her own cabin. That was explained in 5 other videos =]

I have been cruising with Celebrity since 1990....NEVER ever buy a cruise while on board....you will 100% get a much better deal with a travel agent when your home.
Does it help if our travel agent helped us book it while we were on board lol!
@@GriffandAlyssa My question is why rush to book...there is no benefit to booking so far in advance...At least it can wait till you get home...get sorted out and with in a week you can go to your travel agent. Booking on board is sort of like making that last min purchase at the supermarket as you are checking out...That is impulse buying....I never book on board...I get home...look over where we want to go, the time, ship and so on...We only cruise in May and Sept...We are basically done with the Caribbean, Alaska, Panama canal. New England and Canada, the Eastern Med...I use to live in Hawaii and will never go back there...Looking to do Norway and the Eastern Med....So, the question remains...you will get a better deal if you just wait till you get home and look over where exactly you want to go....People rush to book, I have no clue as to why...This booking while on board is a gimmick.
@@butalina Oh I'm not trying to change your mind lol to book on board. I'm just saying it was a great deal, my travel agent agreed it was a great deal and it was the perfect time for us =) Have a great time on your cruise!
You can book a future cruise without pinpointing which cruise, and get a couple hundred $$$ in on board credits.

Luxury is not Celebrity- Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, Seabourn, Paul Gauguin.......come to mind
According to Forbes they been added to that list of considerations.
