Looks so much like Olde City Philly but very much a NYC vibe here because so many had come out to the area from NY. It was so exciting for me at 16, walking downtown to get the 11 bus on Queen Street every morning, just like a grown up city girl. She would take me to various places in the city and outlying areas she had discovered living out there. That Micky D's btw always had the best fries.

I'm not sure Lincoln actually offered Reynold the job when they met (was that their first meeting?). There is a theory that Lincoln saw in Reynolds a real political threat for the next president election, and decided against offering him the position. Interestingly, he appointed Meade, who was born outside USA and ineligible for president. (In addition, Reynolds had massive personal issues at the front of his mind - he had just became engaged, and there was a complication of an orphan whom he and Kate (his finance) were looking after).
Thanks so much for the walking tour. I was vaguely thinking of moving there. I love the buildings. I'm shocked at how few people on the street. Was that because of the pandemic or is it always like that? Perhaps all small cities are like that? I'm in Brooklyn and it's people everywhere. I'm going to go thru all your videos but hoping to see the big park.
Why did you stop literally two blocks from the prison castle. Yeah!!! A literal castle y'all in Lancaster city on king street where this guy was just at but stopped short

@@phillybiz3784dnt move here if you want your kids to remain clean and sober it will spit and chew out the youth trust me I lived there from 87-2018 ..very easy to get involved with crime drugs and violence ..small town with big city problems family 💯
