After seeing how odd the opponent's deck was, I started rooting for him. I guess I'm just burnt out on the meta
I actually used to play a similar deck, still do only it's much more control.

Played this deck yesterday along with my C'Thun Buff deck because I had a couple of Paladin quests to clear, and got up to rank 15 which now means I can just play fun decks till Un'Goro drops and not worry about sliding back to rank 20. I want to play my Beast Mode Druid and Hunter decks just to figure out how I'll fine tune them with all the new Beast cards.

You can't break the meta by playing a non meta deck.
I mean, I guess you can break the meta with a non-meta deck before it becomes meta itself.

Better to go with Tirion, since it's from the basic set and will be in standard for ever, presumably. Also, they both kind of do the same thing when it comes to the defensive, but offensively Tirion is probably better.
Now a real challenge is playing the deck recipes
