I've been reading Celine Dion: My Story, My Dream for the first time in many years, and am so glad to be able to find many of the performances mentioned in the book on TH-cam! ❤
That's why she never sounded exactly the same in 1990-92. She actually recorded this in 87. Along with Where Does My Heart Beat Now in 88 and Have a Heart. Very beautiful tho
I discovered Celine on this day when this aired on my television in 1988... I was in awe of the talent never seen before... she made me feel every word of this song... I have been a loyal fan ever since. Love you Celine
I remember reading that Celine knew this performance was important. Rene managed to get her on the awards show in a prime spot - the Québécois singing in English. They wanted to launch an English language career and it all started here
You are absolutely correct. Many head honchos, record label executives, and big music industry figures were there that night. Singing well that evening meant getting Celine's name on everyone's lips and minds. Unless I'm mistaken, "Partout Je Vois" was translated into English *just for this performance* , for the purpose of getting an English song for Celine to sing in front of the bigwigs. And of course, we know this English version to be "Have A Heart", which also ended up on her first English-language album, Unison.
@@tristanhnl it's not translated. Have A Heart and "Everywhere I See You" are completely different, but use the same melody, that's all. I've taken enough French and am a big though Dion fan to know this.
@@Supcharged I agree. That’s honestly surprising to me, considering what she was capable of at that time. Although I think all of the songs were recorded in 1988.
1988? She was like 16/17 here. That's insane. I only know this song from her debut English language album, Unison which was released in 1990. I had no idea this song existed two years earlier.
Celine recording this song first in French in 1987 with the album Incognito, titled ''Partout, je te vois''. Celine has been 20 years old when she sing this song in Juno of 1988.
I saw Celine first time on Eurovision 88 on Nigerian television. Upon arrival in 91 to Beirut I heard The Last To Know, and it's love forever since then.
This was the time that she never understood what she's singing but what she knew is that she had to sing it out loud with all her heart. I felt that burning passion inside her heart saying that this is it, it's time to rise and shine. You are an inspiration to all young aspirant singers. You have a heart that speaks of love through your music. That is why we love you so much Celine.
She just talked about this performance, she said she was nervous here because it’s her first Juno performance. But this performance is very amazing although she was nervous
Have a Heart Lying in bed alone Thinkin' 'bout how much I need you Oh give me one more chance To see you again If only I'd have known It was the last time I'd be with you I would have held on And never let you go Baby, just have a heart I'm begging you Let me show you How much I need you Baby, just have a heart This much is true I miss your touch I'm still in love with you Here comes another day I don't know if I can make it Oh, I've just realized It's so lonely being free Runnin' from the pain I'm never gonna shake it Oh how I need you To take it from me, baby Baby just have a heart I'm beggin' you Let me show you How much I need you Baby just have a heart This much is true I miss your touch I'm still in love with you I always thought that I would have the upper hand But now I know that I'm really not that strong If I could only make you understand I'd give you the world But for a start Baby just have a heart I'm beggin' you Let me show you How much I need you Baby just have a heart This much is true I miss your touch I'm still in love I want you so much I'm still in love I miss you so much I'm still in love with you I'm still in love with you
It is pre-recorded. I remember reading somewhere about the rehearsals and it mentioned preparing a track in some studio. I remember feeling a little shocked and disappointed after reading...sorry i do not remember where i read that. but after watching it again i almost wonder how i didnt notice it was lipped before.

Have A Heart is one of underrated gems of her discography
Have a Heart is my absolute Celine favourite and the only song she sings that sends chills up my spine.
That's why she never sounded exactly the same in 1990-92. She actually recorded this in 87. Along with Where Does My Heart Beat Now in 88 and Have a Heart. Very beautiful tho

Scott Earp thanks for the insight. That's so cool. I had no idea. One of my favorites from Céline.
Wow, between 1988 and 1990 her image took more sultry look. Right now, its innocent. I love the sound of her vocals and this production :)
Such a talent

2:12 This high note is much better than studio version❤❤
This note is supported ?

And people in comment be acting like she is lipsyncing its the studio version
@@damndivas It's lipsynced but she created this version for upcoming shows.

I agree. She did fantastic in this live performance!!
+Cats Are Demon actually it has a little support
Is it supported though? The Eb5 and E5 before are, but is the F#5?
This is one of best “album wrap up” songs. Just a great way to wrap up “Unison.” I get chills whenever it turns on.
One of her best performances. Just incredible!
Amazing voice Celine.

Robbie 1987 and she was 19. Either way amazing vocals for a teen her age
She was 20.
She was 20 years old in this performance
She released unison in 1990 but the songs were recorded from 1986 to 1988
WoW, better then the version on the album! She's soooo incredible!
I saw Celine first time on Eurovision 88 on Nigerian television. Upon arrival in 91 to Beirut I heard The Last To Know, and it's love forever since then.
Thank you, Celine Dion, for giving us your heart Long Live Celine Dion!
Céline is soo cuute
She was only 20 here
何故か泣ける、胸がせつなくなるけど、何回も聴いてしまいます
Wow 💯✔🎧👍💛☺!!!
Have A Heart is one of her songs that deserves more attention, the lyrics are pretty deep and the soft rock instrumental make it better :)
So young... Love u Celiné
Wow song and lyric if she was singing these words to me I give a million to chances what a lovely voice

She already went to English school before this.
Just amazing#
She just talked about this performance, she said she was nervous here because it’s her first Juno performance. But this performance is very amazing although she was nervous
You can definitely see her shaking, but the performance was stellar!
Have a Heart
Lying in bed alone
Thinkin' 'bout how much I need you
Oh give me one more chance
To see you again
If only I'd have known
It was the last time I'd be with you
I would have held on
And never let you go
Baby, just have a heart
I'm begging you
Let me show you
How much I need you
Baby, just have a heart
This much is true
I miss your touch
I'm still in love with you
Here comes another day
I don't know if I can make it
Oh, I've just realized
It's so lonely being free
Runnin' from the pain
I'm never gonna shake it
Oh how I need you
To take it from me, baby
Baby just have a heart
I'm beggin' you
Let me show you
How much I need you
Baby just have a heart
This much is true
I miss your touch
I'm still in love with you
I always thought that I would have the upper hand
But now I know that I'm really not that strong
If I could only make you understand
I'd give you the world
But for a start
Baby just have a heart
I'm beggin' you
Let me show you
How much I need you
Baby just have a heart
This much is true
I miss your touch
I'm still in love
I want you so much
I'm still in love
I miss you so much
I'm still in love with you
I'm still in love with you
