Nice review! Have you got a chance to listen to it yet? I have the done and X6700 H. What is your opinion on the sound quality between the two of them?

Thanks for the video. Couldn't wait to watch it. I still struggle with the never-ending debate of denon vs marantz sound signature... Especially when it comes to movie watching (that's AVR primary role after all as there are plenty of much better amps for music listening to be honest!) - so I look forward to hearing more feedback from you in this regards as the ending of your video was rather quick! Thanks again. You always pick great products and topics.

Denon might have better features but for me the sound on the marantz is better.

Great video as always. Could you explain at 9min where you say the Denon is better then the Marantz as you can use the processor mode and still use the internal amps and that the Marantz is all or nothing. To my knowledge both the Denon and Marantz is all or nothing in the PRE Amp mode function.

Thanks for posting this video. I think the 8015 has a disconnect for the front channels only, not sure. I have the 8015 at home for testing and like it so far. How would you rate the 8015 against the 8500 for movie sound?I do have the impression the 8015 rolls-off the treble a bit, to sound more pleasant and less agressive. At high volumes, that is probably a good thing. But with soundtracks that have less definition, it could be a problem. The Denon might be brighter and more agressive sounding, more aggressive and lively. What do you think?

I will wait for Denon to be able to supply a bit more amperage, to each speaker line, for I will have a full home theater set up, while I know I can get some amplifiers, I’d prefer to get more power directly from the avr…

I had my A110 on a full MK setup all 13ch and honestly it was faultless.

@@homecinemaking397 what speakers if I may ask did you have? (How many watts were each speaker rated at?)

@@Ryand0523 mk s150 rated 250w at 4ohm load. Very demanding speakers. But you can actually set the Denon to 4 ohm
