For Xperia 10 VI, I would hope Sony would use: 1) At least 90Hz display 2) A far better SOC 3) Faster charging 4) At least the front-facing camera from Xperia 1V 5) Ultrawide sensor using the main sensor from Xperia 10V The competition is Samsung A55, and I really do not know how this phone would be able to compete without drastic changes.
Yeah, I think they should/ will drop the 2x lens next generation and hopefully update the chipset and screen. Not sure a 8mp 2x is needed if you already have a decent 48mp main cam, can just crop in for decent 2x pics.
@@josephaquino3095 Thats interesting. So it uses a large 48 MP sensor (maybe the same but with Dual Layer Stack) and crops in for zoom where it would have 2x lossless crop. And hopefully they can put in a 12 MP ultrawide that is a bit larger and a Sony sensor as well.
Is it worth to buy xperia 10v now? I am on a budget, so can't afford high range phones and battery life is what hooks me in this phone. But it has been one year since release and am worried that battery has been degraded somewhat by now where it is stored.
They should just bring back the compact phones, I am missing those. Where do people get this phone for 250€? Never saw it for under 300€, cheapest I have seen so far was 350€, it is still 416€ on amazon right now :|
@@lltechview Thanks for the info, I checked out ebay but can only find either new ones or second hand ones for around 300, there are also broken ones for 150 but I don't think that's what you meant though.
@@virskovskiy7894 I know it's not meant to be a vlog phone but even for photos the cams are not much better than the average 2mp macro lense on every second chinese phone. I delete like 90% of my shots even on the main sensor.

@@lltechview Yes, it may be that the Sony, being a newer phone, has a better sensor, although analyzing the specifications of both sensors, they have very similar characteristics, practically the same, such as resolution (48 Mpx), aperture (ƒ/ 1.8) , the pixel size (0.80 µm), and it seems that even the area (the Poco is 1/2") and let's not forget that the Poco X3 Pro sensor is a Sony IMX582 Exmor RS. The Poco only records in 4k at 30fps, but in the latest update it already allows recording in Log. But even assuming that the Sony records better, I think there are better cameras on cell phones in that price range. A hug from Mexico.

No joke for this kind of budget and use case I would rather buy a used Huawei P30 off Ebay and get a dramatically better quality across all cameras.

It needs a SoC that can handle it.
Some leakers show a 10 VI case with only 2 cameras like 5 V.

For the vlogin I prefer to choose old asus zenfone 7 if battery still works. Front camera ehh tragedy , main camera ehh bad. Price okish.

The next one will get a camera upgrade on main and ultra but looses the tele if leaks are true. Can't wait for the next phones!

I have my doubts. The main cam on the Xperia is superior to the one of the Poco X3 Pro. Ultrawideangle however Poco seems to be doing better.
