I recently acquired this weapon, was pretty much rusted, thanks to your help and expertise I was able to disassemble it. I bring it to a Sandblasting shop, getting all cleaned up. But now I don't know what to do to protect metal, to restore the color back. Could you please give me an advice?

Rust blueing would be a time intensive bit good idea.
