Mauser Broomhandle Pistol: Basic Disassembly

Today we're looking at some very basic disassembly tips for the Mauser C/96 Broomhandle pistol. This isn't an exhaustive video on all parts of disassembly, and it mostly will focus on how to avoid damaging your pistol if you need to field strip it for cleaning.

The floor plate has the serial #714 between the spring and the release pin hole.

You should get a head mounted camera so you don’t have to hold it with one hand. It is nerve wrecking trying to disassemble with one hand, I wouldn’t want to damage anything.

I agree completely, unfortunately I'm working with what I have, and while I know this isn't the best production wise, I really just wanted to get a few tips out there on how to take these apart without scuffing them. Thanks for watching!
