- The Nomads are four young strong males, looking for a pride to take over, and land to conquer. The Nomads could be the answer to Hollywood’s prayers, perhaps the beginning of better times. But soon it becomes clear that this is not going to be a happy meeting. By the end of the week, one of the Hollywood lionesses, Ava, is brutally attacked and injured, while another is alone and vulnerable. The calamitous events mean the future of a whole pride will look bleak.

This was a brutal footage and I feel the pain in these Hollywood Females in my stomach. Lions are magnificent animals and they have a savage nature when it comes to food! I think these lionesses will survive even though the wounds are very bad, I have seen lions with deeper wounds all over their body survive so I hope and pray for them!

The other threat will a cackle of hyenas since they'd use the numbers game against a lioness and worse still a wounded one.

The chunk missing from her elbow is not actually missing, flesh just really opens up when its cut. I know from being hit by a car and thinking half my arm was missing.
This sequence is amazing to watch. It's like a Netflix drama with beautiful beasts.
That's the way of life in animal kingdom fighting everyday to be alive and searching for food..
But wildlife doctors should give some medicine to extreme conditions of animals regarding infections it could save many species

As long as she can luck the wounds clean and also have the wound pressed against the green grass, this will prevent infection, some these injuries although painful are not as lethal as they look, lions can recover quickly from such injuries especially when they have sisters or pride members to support them

I saw this awhile back and share your compassion for the Hollywoods and I lived near there at a time before making my childhood cabin my home up in the hills in Natural Resource’s near Yosemite valley but thirty minutes away in a wild as heck valley with all wild trout in the Merced river , Being in NR I deal with the wildlife that habitats the Sierra Nevada range and it’s pretty special how our foothills that traverse up a hour plus to the mountains resemble a lot the area you just filmed with our oak trees and some berry bushes and dry grass the hot months it would of fooled me big time , Hey one question? Where’s the Prides kings ? If a takeover occurred I would see normally a few that took over or a single male king ? So he or they just ditched em ( remember as kids that term ). Please let me know and I vaguely remember some of the Hollywood Pride but how are they doing nowadays ? I will check your Podcast but if nothing is current as you would know please update me if your time allows , Your partner and I could be brothers ? Weird as they say we have a double sometimes out there as I have seen with others I know over the years , Thanks , Kevin Standow .

Ava is the sister that got hurt one of the Buffalo horn went right in her throat! Notice how now she has a collar on! I’m pretty sure when these lions n lioness get hurt , the camera crew takes them to their station n helps them recover
