I have seen two kinds of wealth affirmations videos. One that has 1 visual (ie: travelling through space) for 8 hour and other videos that show the life of the rich and famous. Considering videos with one visual are getting millions of views, especially if you are sleeping, it seems like the visual is of little importance

Hi! That is not necessary, just as long as you have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of viewing your content in the last 12 months, you can monetize the channel.

Maybe it was not the case when you published your video one month ago, but it is not possible to add one's own voice for free, but from a "Plus" account like yours (20$ per month - 240$ annually) that grants two voice clones. Which means that a free account only permits to create a video with a voice that is not soothing nor calming at all, but more suitable for a daytime motivational background sound. Or maybe I missed a point of your explanations.
Very interesting, and wonderful information. If the video is going to be used by people while sleeping, who really cares about the background visuals? It could really be anything, but you should change them up every 5-10 minutes.

1) I would think the video should be all back background since it is for sleeping. Is that allowed? There are plenty of long form videos with black backgrounds.
2) Does making the video a "Live Event" help count towards viewing hours?
Appreciate the questions. I would not recommend a black background. Many people struggle to sleep and the soothing visuals can help.
Unfortunately, or fortunately at the moment, we can't monetize videos using artificial voice. So it can't work...

It is meant to be listened to and just be played on the background while you’re doing other things, waiting,relaxing, meditating or sleeping. You can just close the screen and let it play without consuming much battery power but only if you’re paying for YT premium.
Some people listen while they sleep. ( I can't, it keeps me awake.)
