    I have bad hand eczema, and I always feel like I'm the only person with it. I don't know really anyone with Eczema on their hands, and I'm always afraid to raise my hand in class, because I feel like the Teacher will see my Eczema. I constantly have Hoodies with longer sleeves so that I can hide it. I just wish that I can feel what it's like to not have eczema. I'm trying everything I can to get rid of it, but nothing seems to really be working. I am willing to try everything I can to get rid of it, i'm hoping that Ully's tips help..

      @@jadegarcia8422 I found a really good hack that makes you stop scratching at night if you are a night scratcher like me. Take a pair of socks that you don't really care about, and I'm begging you make sure that the sock is clean, take the cream, slather it on, then gently put the sock over your hands, (this also works with a glove, but I recommend that you use socks, because your chances of getting an infection from sweating, and not letting it breath properly throughout the night is slightly lower) then spread your fingers out a little bit, and then find a comfortable spot for your hands, and then fall asleep. It will feel weird for a little while, and the first few nights, but it's worth the pain of it. My hands have gotten much better over the 3 days that I've been using this method. They've gone from really dry & oozy to just dry and a little bit oozy if I itch it throughout the day- that's another thing- DON'T itch throughout the day as much as you can. I know, the feeling to just itch is so strong, but if you itch and let it get bad again, then your defeating the purpose of you putting the socks on. I've cut down on my dairy, and that is helping a lot.

      @@jadegarcia8422 No problem! I know how bad it feels to have eczema. And I'm happy to share any tricks I found helpful. Just another thing, (And this happened to me yesterday night), I decided to take a night off of having fabric on my hands while I sleep, and that didn't turn. I am now back to basically Square 1 again. Don't be too cocky on how good your skin looks when you wake up. It's not worth the pain to keep the sock off while you sleep.

    I've always been quite insecure about my hands - I love their shape- but they've always been so blotchy.
    As I was trying to better my skin on my face which meant using hot water, my hands had a bad reaction as well as the heat/cold being a factor.
    So, now I put some vaseline on my skin and then cream over the top. 2 days later im seeing an improvement but it'd be nice to see what else I can do.

      I burnt my hans down to the meat in places. I got them most of the way healed when I got a staff infection and took antibiotics. Well the infection cleared which has now left me with eczema from my finger tips to the top of the arms, the odd patch on the torso and from the top of the toes to the knees(really bad) and patches on my thighs. Almost unbearably itchy when the blisters come which waxes and wanes. Unfortunately I am a scratcher. Everything I have tried works well for a couple or three days then all hell breaks loose and I have an extreme reaction. Now doing things to heal the gut which is now giving some relief, nights are the worst as soon as you lay down.

    I got hand eczema 15 years ago out of the blue. I'm wondering if this is becoming more common and why. After an allergy test the only thing that came up was peanuts but I seem to be reacting to other foods. Thinking leaky gut can be an issue considering everything is being sprayed with round up. Wheat and potatoes sprayed after harvest to dry. As far as maintainance it's freaking painful but I would only use gentle soaps like an olive oil soap if you're not allergic to olives. All the chemical lotions and soaps make my hands burn and I'm sure i'm not the only one.

    I want to share how I finally got rid of my hand eczema after 3 years finally! I changed my hand soap to cerave baby shampoo and body wash, you can add distilled water if you want to change the consistency, this is the only wash that I’ve research that have a lot of ceramides in it and ceramides are great for the skin. Also I used the cerave moisturizing cream for my hands and at night I would apply petroleum and then cotton gloves. If you need to use a hand sanitizer I use an alcohol free one that is fragrance free from babyganics. Also I make sure that I always put on gloves when I wash dishes or deal with any cleaning. Side note I first got hand eczema when I started to become a hair stylist because I didn’t always wear gloves while washing peoples hair so now I’ve learned my lesson. Hope this helps!

You can google the concentrations to use - it is very low so it would be like going to the pool. I actually feel that bleach works better than dead sea salt.

    I have had eczema all my life, but only since two years I've had it on my hands, it's super annoying because a looot of things that you touch make it worse. For me the most important things are:
    - I use a steroid cream prescribed by my doctor (I know not everyone likes to use this, but this is seriously the only thing for me that really makes it go away, once it gets better I use it less and less)
    - Moisturize as often as possible. I moisturize my hands everytime I've washed them but also at other random moments during the day. I use a really basic cream for dry and sensitive skin.
    - Don't wash your hands too often! I know this is hard especially during the whole covid situation but I still try to wash them as less as possible, and preferably without soap. I also don't shower everyday, and when I do, I try not to shower too long.
    -Wear gloves whenever you're cleaning. I always have cleaning gloves in the kitchen for when Im gonna do the dishes, but also the thinner, disposable gloves for when Im cooking.
    - Then the last one, and I am not sure if this has actually helped (yet), but I take fish oil pills and horsemilk pills, because those are really good for your skin.
    Hope this helps for you guys as well :)

    Thanks for the video,
    oh god, that thing is not pleasant at all :(.
    I lived all my childhood without that thing but suddenly out of nowhere when I turned 20 just a few days after my birthday Literally it just popped up out in my lift hand.
    I'm living with eczema for almost 1 year now. one thing I noticed is the sun really makes it a LOT worse, I live in Egypt and it's sunny most of the year so it's nightmare so I have to wear gloves everywhere or I will suffer consent-burning pain for days. f
    or me the way is still long to understand Eczema but hey at least it's manageable!

      Hi there thanks for your comment! Its quite common for eczema to reappear later in adult life after having had it as a child. Yes the sun (especially in very hot climates) can definitely aggravate a flare. Try bathing it in oat milk or the sea :)

    Hello. Thanks for the video. Why do dairy products contributes to eczema? Also is epsom salt same as dead sea salt?

    • @naturully
      @naturully  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sarah! You can use epsom sea salt as well instead of dead sea salt, I think epsom salts are also good for muscle soreness so slightly different benefits. As for dairy, I'm not entirely sure what the scientific reason is but dairy does have a lot of hormones and sugars that affect the skin, not just people with eczema but also acne and other problems too

    I got my firstr eczema just now 2 days ago when it’s starts, I can endure the itchy but at night i accidentally scratched it and it goes itchy, this was my first time what to do, what treatment u put on hands

    • @theuglykwan
      @theuglykwan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go on ebay and buy some nitrile coated worker gloves. That helps you not do as much damage while you sleep. If you live somewhere really hot then it might not suit you. There are cotton gloves designed for this so why not use those? Unless those have some button at the wrist they will tend to fall off. I tend to not move much while i sleep so even during a night when not scratching I find i need to find where the gloves went when i wake up. So if you are actually scratching those will fly off really easily.
      If you don't want to invest in gloves, you can just put socks on your hands and try that.
