Quarterbacks get all the love, but today’s golden era of wide receivers are also greatly responsible for ushering in the beloved, pass-happy, offensive-driven era of NFL football that we’re currently seeing.
The majority of teams have at least one wide receiver who is capable of putting up 1,000 yards in a single season, though some teams actually have two or even three of those guys. But just like every position, there are some wideouts who are getting too much love for our liking, while others always seem to be overlooked by the general public.
With that said, let’s dive into the NFL’s five most underrated wide receivers as well as the five most overrated.

To me the most underrated is Mike Evans who has had atleast 1,000 yards in every season since he came into the NFL! 8 of 8 years with a 1,000 yards or more! Which is a NFL record!

Underrated, Tyler Lockett: he consistently puts up 1000 yards but everyone just talks about dk metcalf
He’s obsolete in his current offense. DK is better in every way except route running that’s why he gets talked about more. He’d tear the league up in a Green Bay offense
Michael Pittman Jr has been criminally underrated but should get more respect with this upcoming season in my opinion

Jeudy had 4 catches with 100 yards in his first game with Russ I think he’ll be fine tbh but how is mike evans not on this list he’s literally the definition of underrated
if everyone says he’s underrated then he’s clearly not underrated he’s more less talked about but everyone knows hes great and the whole 8/8 1000 yard seasons its common knowledge
as a bucs fan, i think the league knows hes a solid receiver, hes just not in the top 5 or anything so hes not talked about a lot. He was talked about a lot in the beginning but after 8 seasons of 1000yds i think people just expect it from him

Mike evans may not be the most explosive but he’s easily the most consistent receiver in the nfl

I wouldn’t put Kupp and chase here yet until they’ve had 2 good/great seasons in a row. Before last year kupp only had 1 1000 yard season and chase was a rookie last year so like Jefferson with the previous year give it 1 more year to truly see if he’s elite

I am an Eagles fan and i completely agree with you. McLaurin is a beast and honestly Washington is the best offense the eagles have faced this year. I thought about it and you guys have an abundance of skill guys: McLaurin, Samuels, Pringle, Dotson, Crowder, Robinson, Gipson and Logan Thompson. When you guys improve the O-line you will be scary.

Adam Thielen is pretty underrated too. He is consistently able to make catches and he would be the Vikings number one wr if he didn’t share the field with Stefon Diggs and Justin Jefferson his whole career

Mike Evans for sure. 1,000 yard seasons every year he's been in the league. He has yet to have under that. Reliable hands and big frame. Man is on a trajectory for a gold jacket
I think Amon-Ra St. Brown is underrated and could be pro bowl this season if he keeps it up.

Favorite video from TPS of all-time? Easily the first Mount Rushmore video of all 32 franchises. Naming 4 individuals that built & made franchises recognizable over a century was a sizable task. As a Panthers fan, it was great seeing those 4 names again & just reminded me of the glory days of Carolina back in 2015-2016.

Um.. I agree coopers overrated, a great number 2 imo, but if you’re gonna say he was elite for 2 years in Dallas, you gotta say his first 2 in Oakland were. 262 targets, 155 catches, 2,223 yards and 11 touchdown grabs.
His 2 best years in Dallas 249 targets, 171 receptions, 2,303 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Here's why. A bit of back story here, back when I was younger I never watched football or marvel and I really had nothing in common with a lot of people and didn't have many friends. Then one day my phone battery died and while charging it I got a random recommended video to me. It was a video on how many superbowls each team has one. Then after that I started getting intrested in football but didn't know much about it. Then this was on my home page. I watched TPS, a lot after that and became a " football alexa " as my friends ( which I now had ) . I know it may seem like not that much of a big deal, but it was for me and it really did change my life. Since then I've made so many friends talking about football, and liking football has made me intrested in trying out other stuff and I watched Marvel and other shows and loved those too. This may seem small but it was really big for me.

Ok, so with the Hunter Renfrow as underrated I agree, I saw this video with someone saying that Chase Claypool was better than Hunter Renfrow. Im sorry but Renfrow is a better route runner than 90% of the league and claypool was a 2nd-3rd round draft pick when renfrow was a late 5th rounder and has put up more yards.
