Thanks for another lovely video! We rented an airbnb flat for the month of June so I’m very interested in day trips from Edinburgh! Please keep them coming! 😅
Hiya, I've just stumbled across your video, I'm born and bred in Haddington, it's a lovely town to live in let alone to visit. Enjoy your video thank you.
Haha, you should have popped in for a coffee, I'm in Haddington :-) My flat is about a minute from St Mary's the Church haha. Love falko's, I always go for the Schweiss nuss torte or if they don't have them the Linzertorte. Also, at 1.25 the garden on the corner with the small hedge above the wall is one of my gardens (I'm a gardener) have trimmed that hedge too many times....
Haha! Love the reference to that terrible Christmas movie that I still watched because I will put up with anything filmed in Scotland. Can’t wait to visit all these places and thank you for the bus info! I always need that and it can be hard to find.
I went to Haddington the other week and was looking forward to visiting Falko but unfortunately we went on a Monday and it was closed. Seeing this has made me really want to go! Especially if we get weather like you had.
@@Kakibot Yes Kakibots it is very historic. Oh may I realy say, its realy respectful and kind that you reply to people. Oh also as I have been to Prague, I realy enjoy your Czech 🇨🇿 videos. All the best Kakibot🙂😎
I would highly recommend Yellowcraigs beach in East Lothian it was where I used to go when I lived in Edinburgh and Dalkeith, it's lovely, it has an island with a lighthouse opposite and normally its not too crowded
Good tip! That's actually one of Simon's childhood favourites .) Unfortunately the only time we went, the weather was very much against us, but we absolutely want to go back and give it another go!
@@Kakibot it's is really lovely and that's coming from someone who grew up in Northumberland surrounded by amazing beaches 🤣 I'd recommend going for a walk around Roslin Glen also I proposed to my Mrs there a few years ago, the castle and chapel are also worth a look
Ideas for more East Lothian adventures pastries and sausage rolls at Bostock in East Linton, surf lesson at Belhaven bay, walks on the beach at Yellowcraigs, dinner at fancy lunch at Osteria in North Berwick
I've never been to Haddington, but I have a friend who lives there...She has never mentioned that there is a Germany bakery there! Now I have 2 reasons to visit Haddington 😂
Hmmm... I always remember hearing it from Princes street area - so I'd say it's more audible in that direction (and of course right around the castle) but based purely on the short distance of Victoria street from the castle my guess would be you will hear it there too!
This area was lovely. Well worth the drive :)
"chunky Thor, my favourite type of Thor." 😂
Such a lovely peaceful video.
Fun fact, St Abbs is very popular with scuba divers as there's a spectacular underwater double arch a short distance from the harbour breakwater.

What quaint & cute towns. Such beautiful buildings.
This is so beautiful. And I so relate to wearing ear muffs. Wind and cold give my ears a pain, too.
Loved this one!! We were married in St Abbs 20 yrs ago this year 🤍 x

Yeah same here - how much time have I wasted on watching all the Princess Switches just so I can spot some good Edinburgh locations!! .D
@@Kakibot Haha! Yes. I can’t believe how many times I’ve watched those movies. 🤦🏽♀️

This is totally unrelated but can you hear the one o’clock gun from Victoria Street?

@@Kakibot Thank you for the reply! I really would love to move to Edinburgh someday. I’m aiming for university of Edinburgh!
Aye you can hear the one o'clock gun in Victoria Street
