I usually scale once and adjust at the track . Only time I put it back on scales is if I crash and have to replace parts. Just a little secret for newer Karter keep right side square always have tire size the same for right sides make all adjustments to the left. Make all stager changes with left rear and left fro t.at the track.

If you use bathroom scales the (I race weigh) app is free on the apple App Store. Works great to input the weights into to get your cross left and rear. Great video as always thanks. I’m not sure how close the numbers were for you but mine are extremely close to these numbers. If you would I would really appreciate getting your actual numbers. I am starting a new track this year coming from a 1/10 mile banked track to a 1/7 mile flat track and I just need a baseline

How you do the math? I wont ever be able to get bitchin scales like that. LOL

Total weight. Example: front two tire weights that number is what % of total weight. 420lbs kart weight, 189lbs 45% nose Cross would be RF to LR weights. I’m not great at math so these scales are great.

@@kart6t3_ben thanks for responding back. As long as on can simplify the math into a simple formula or equation its not tooo bad. But yeah I am already looking at getting scales. Lol!

If only there was a channel with even more videos on how to adjust a kart and what those adjustments do. Like 225 uploads of information and/racing.

Funny how everyone says what they want behind a keyboard huh! I find your videos very helpful being a newbie. Don’t have anyone to show me anything or suggest set ups. Everything I learn comes from you and I appreciate the time and effort you put into it
